We had solar panels installed 1 1/2 years ago with an addendum that we would have a 1 time removal and reinstallation free of charge. This summer we had horrible hail which damaged our roof and in need of it being replaced. When I mentioned the contract stating the removal, I was told no that they don't do that and it was from the company who sold the panels for Solcius. Now I have emailed and called (which no one answered so a voicemail was left and no one responded) because we need our roof done and are now in position we will be paying for the panels because we only so much time per the insurance company. It was good working with them when they wanted to sell but not since-during installation one of our gutters was damaged and no one ever came back to finish filling the trench they made-we ended up doing it. Very frustrating.

It took months for the company to schedule for my install despite me calling several times to set it up (leaving my phone number each time). I finally called a rep from another company to get in touch with Solcius and when they finally called me they said they “didn’t have the correct phone number” and couldn’t set up my install until 2020 and would call me once the 2020 schedule was made. I contacted the rep I had worked with and his manager called Solcius and magically they called and said they would install in 2019. The installers were nice enough and worked in the snow to get the install started. They had to come back 2 days later bc it became too cold for them on the initial day. I wasn’t home when they worked the 2nd day which was fine, but I came home to find screws, pieces of metal pipes, other trash in my driveway. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the screws until one had already gone into my SUV tire. Overall, I’m psyched to have solar panels, but the process was not enjoyable and the company has some areas for improvement.

Solcius employs a large number of customer service representatives that stand ready to take any and all customer calls to help in any way they can. You can call 1-800-960-4150 anytime between the hours of 7 AM and 7PM M-F and speak to a representative with little or no wait time. We apologize for any confusion you experienced with our phone number, but you should never have to go through anyone else to reach us. You can call us directly and we will be happy to help. Our contact number is clearly listed on our website and on Google. Our install crews are required to clean up thoroughly after every install. Sometimes snow or poor weather conditions can make it difficult to locate all bits and scraps but we will make sure to speak to this particular crew about this. Great marketing but short follow thru on the promises. 1)We were told that the company will be monitoring our energy production and that someone will contact us if there something unusual or a noticeable drop in energy production. Turns out they only monitored us for the first 48 h and then it is up to us to monitor our solar system after the 48 h. 2) promised us a gift card as a perk discount, never seen that discount promise yet 2 months later 3) told us that the install will only take a day and needn't have to be home, took two days, short staffed, and ended having to take day off to make sure it was done. 3) CEO promised us compensation for that lost day wages, nothing yet materialize from that promise

This is for mr. O, like before I'd like to know exactly agar the rider actually does? The net metering dept. Suggest that i probably dont have enough solar array to save enough. When I talked to the solcius sales person she informed that if my panels weren't producing enough that i could get addional panels at no cost to me. I'd like to think this company backs up their word. I was promised up to 80% savings on my electric bill, and it just isn't happening

Company sent a gentleman out for site survey. First crew came to do installation and and wanted to know where my attic was. House is a flat roof house no attic. They then told me that they did not know how to install on a foam roof and were going to need some one else to come out. Week later 2nd crew arrives wants to know where the attic is. Does sloppy installation. 3rd crew comes out and has to do a complete reinstall.
