Panasonic Solar Panels

Quest Solar has partnered with Panasonic to provide clients with solar panels. Specifically, the solar panels installed are the 96-cell HIT N330 which provides an increased module efficiency while saving energy for long periods of time. It is one of the more advanced renewable energy sources on the market with a 19.7 percent module efficiency and 330 watts per panel. Clients do not always know what they are getting from their solar panels when they sign with other solar installation companies. Quest Solar has made it clear what the Panasonic solar panels can do for the property and energy savings efforts. 

Wide Variety of Services 

Some companies within the solar industry are expanding into energy storage solutions, but it is still not considered a standard offering. Quest Solar goes above and beyond by offering clients the following services:

• Solar Maintenance — Quest Solar offers routine and situational maintenance services when needed. 
• HVAC — The company offers hybrid water heater installation, upgrades to HVAC systems making them more energy efficient, and conducting mini split AC unit conversions. 
• Energy Storage Systems — To eliminate the struggles caused by power outages or energy shortages, Quest Solar installs energy storage systems providing complete and uninterrupted solar energy. 
• Roofing — Quest Solar will provide roofing repairs and replacements when needed. The professional team will inspect the roof and determine what damage exists, take accurate measurements, provide a free quote, and then determine if repairing or replacing the roof is necessary.

By offering all of these services, Quest Solar clients can access multiple energy savings solutions while ensuring that structural issues are handled prior to the solar system being installed. 

Broad Service Area

Even as a locally owned and operated company, Quest Solar has found a way to expand its service area to service more potential clients looking to access clean and renewable energy. The solar installation industry is generally geographically restricted with a vast majority of companies only servicing one state or several cities or counties within a state. Quest Solar offers services in three different states in the following areas:

Considering the size of Quest Solar, the service area the company covers is rather impressive. There are plans of even expanding its current service area. 

Warranties Above Industry Average 

Because the cost to have a solar system installed is still relatively high, warranties to protect that investment are common practice. Typically, the equipment manufacturer will offer some sort of equipment or production warranty. These warranties are generally 25 years in length.

Quest Solar does offer this type of warranty, backing linear power output and the parts. However, the workmanship warranty is where Quest Solar bests the solar industry. Most solar installation companies offer a 10-year workmanship warranty that covers any issues stemming from installation. Quest Solar offers a 25-year workmanship and product warranty to its clients.

Limited Financing Options

Even with federal and state tax incentives, a solar system installation will likely cost thousands of dollars. Most solar installation companies will offer a number of financing options to assist clients with the expensive upfront costs. Generally, a company will offer multiple loan options or provide lease and PPA opportunities as well.

Quest Solar partnered with one financial backer in the Service Finance Company and only one loan type is available. Loans are not the best financial route for all prospective clients. By only offering this one program, Quest Solar has limited its clients financial flexibility. 

Undisclosed Inverter and Battery Information

Quest Solar provides panel equipment information to its clients, but that is only one piece of the system. There is no information on what manufacturer or brand is used when it comes to the installed inverters. Despite offering a separate energy storage solution to clients, Quest Solar does not identify what equipment partner is used in providing battery and storage solutions. Most solar installation companies make all of this information public as it plays a role in consumers’ decision-making processes, but Quest Solar has failed to do so.
