The solar panels are great! Olson Solar walked us through everything and everything went smoothly with installation and connecting to the grid. The only downside when we installed was having to wait for installation due to so many people wanting solar from Olson’s but the wait wasn’t long and we’re so happy with it in the end. Solar helps us charge out w electric car and pay our electric bill. Sometimes we have nothing to pay for our electric bill except the monthly electric cooperative fee. We are happy with our choice. I wish we could have put up more panels.

We were overall happy with the planning and installation process, with the exception of a few scheduling hang ups- but even then, it still fell within the estimated completion window. We would’ve liked better planning for the electrician since it was discovered mid-work that they couldn’t drill through our ICF construction house, which resulted in more exterior wiring/tubing, that has been a different aesthetic result than we expected.

I can't say enough about this company, all good, and how well our project proceeded. It all started with a friend who used them and were really pleased. Then visits from their rep to scope out our yard. Followed by engineering plans and all the work with our power company. Who had just raised their rates again. The work was professional, rigorous and pleasant. Everyone showed respect for us, our home, our gardens and our dog. Who loved all of them. And we are now, in early spring we are enjoying negative electric bills, generating more than we are using.. Pretty wonderful. And Olson made it happen.

I really enjoyed working with Olson Solar. The salesman was professional and very knowledgeable. The installation went smoothly they kept me well informed and they met their installation schedule on time and done very well. I definitely recommend Olsen solar if you are thinking about installing solar panels. I was also looking seriously at using Wolf River. However, after talking to Olson, I realized that WR's was undersized for my needs. WR did everything remotely, and perhaps didn't take into account a large hill that blocks a lot of sun in the winter. Given the discussions about cost with WR, I also wondered if that may have haf some bearing on the number of panels they recommended. Olson also provided more recommendations for financing including a state of MN specific option that WR didn't mention or perhaps didn't know about. After doing my own research I chose Olson Solar. I couldn't be happier that I did! My goal was to reduce my electric usage cost to offset the loan payment. And it has been doing that for over a year now!

I enjoyed working with them and love my system so much, I decided to add several more panels in 2025 when I added a 2nd EV. I reached out to many different installers when looking at pricing. Olson beat the majority of the competition. Another huge thing I liked is they let me tune my system with the equipment that I wanted. Others didn't want to deviate too much. All in all, we are very happy with what we got. If there is one thing to nitpick, it was that I thought they could of spent a little more time on the rails and use a string line to make them a little straighter. (Nobody else really sees this outside of me)

Absolutely fantastic service and communication with Olson. We had another company install or 43 panel system (before I knew about Olson Solar) and our experience was awful from day 1. Olson came in and assessed what we had, fixed the other installers errors and had all 43 panels producing as advertised within a few weeks. Friendly staff and very responsive to our needs and questions. They would be my first call if was ever considering solar energy.

I needed a new off grid solar system installed on our family hunting cabin in northern WI. I filled out an online form on the internet that said i would get quotes from local solar companies. I received only one quote and that was from Olson Solar Energy. We talked and came up with a plan for my needs. A salesman came up and met with me onsite the week before the installation crew was to arrive to make sure all things would work out. The crew showed up and had all of the major components installed on the first day and left the electrician to make final connections, test out the system and do some training with me for operation on Day 2. Everything went off without a hitch. I am happy with the performance of my system. Great job Olson Solar for outstanding work.

We had an excellent experience getting our solar panels and system set up with Olson Solar Energy. There's two sides to this setup, one is the physical installation of the panels and the cabling etc and the other side is the paperwork that needs to be done with the county and inspectors and Xcel Energy. Olson's took care of all of it both sides were taken care of and we really didn't have to do much besides decide we want to do it! Our energy bills are zero for 11 months of the year. It's only in January when there's less sun that we pay a partial bill. I highly recommend working with this local company to get a big savings on your energy bills for many years to come.

The quick install and especially the savings on my electric bill. I really enjoy saving on electric, costing me only what I see as the rent on the metering deice.
