I had my solar panels installed over 3 months ago.. still waiting for the company that did the installation (Texas Energy Resources) to send necessary completion documentation to AEP.. they have not responded to AEP emails or mine. I’ve tried calling the Lumio rep that sold me the panels but he no longer answers my calls or responds to my texts or emails. I’m still waiting for my panels to be functional! They’re installed but not operational. Very upset and frustrated. I feel I was scammed.

Don't do business with Lumio. They started my project July 2022 and it's now April 26 2023. Due to replacing my electrical box which is now in my laundry room. Lumio needs to replace it but want to put it outside next to the alley which has plenty of foot traffic. Which means anybody at any given time can cut all my power off which include my alarm system camera's around my home. I reach out to them everyweek for undates and all i get is run around. my next step is court to have panels remove off my house and my roof replace by a company of my choice. BAD BUSINESS

Do not use Lumio. They were very dishonest and didn’t tell me that I wasn’t getting all my energy from the panels. I’m only getting half of my power from the panels. Stephen from the Tampa area will not pick up my calls or return my texts. They lied about the system and the tax credit. it’s going to take me 3 years to get the full amount. Horrible company and didn’t even give me the monitoring info to log into the app

In regards to the tax credit, this information was part of a proposal. Each individual's tax situation is different. Given such, Lumio sales reps are not tax specialists and it is advised that you seek the advice of a finance expert.

This Company is a joke. I tried multiple times to ask for someone to inspect panels since they only seem to produce 20-30% of the electricity per Duke Energy. They only respond as Systm working as expected and I am stuck with paying 34,000$ loan plus the same electric bill. Per Duke energy my consumption hasn't change from previous years but now I am paying double because I installed Solar. Do not installed Solar or at least do not use this company, their panels are worthless.

March 21, 2022 Our system was installed July 2022. It is still not working properly. Lumio installers incorrectly put the system in. It was not installed as L & I approved it. We have 6 panels that are in the shade not on the side that receives the sun. Our inverters do not work because too many panels on one circuit. It is over loading the circuit, defaulting the whole system and not up to fire code set backs. We have contacted Lumio numerous and times and still trying and keep getting passed to someone else.

Horrible experience from day 1. Signed my contract end of February 2022, finally got up and running May of 2022, they couldn't place the panels per the agreed design and put so many dents in our shed roof they had to replace it. They completely forgot to install the net metering system to my mother in law house but placed 10 panels on it and buried the line. ZERO benefit reflected on my electricity bill. This company that blatantly participates in deceptive trade practices.

Lumio provided a fraudulent CCB# On a contract, panels were put up on the house IN THE WRONG place according to the inspector, system has never been hooked up 4 mo and counting lied and said they needed yo move the electric panel inspector said NO. put in unnecessary electrical panel, inspector said it wasn't needed and he told them it wasn't needed. Can't get ahold of them to fix and finish the job 3 month of finance payment made still no solar power. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. BBB says they have a TON of complaints starting in Feb 2023

We purchase solar panels in August for our home of 2 years. Two panels installed were not initally working and we told a tech would return to check the wiring. Never happened. Called several times and no return call received. Now our kitchen appliances cut off at least every other day which didn't happen prior to panels. And the only month our panels saved energy was November. Which is sad because I was thinking of installing solar panels on my other home. Rosharon TX

Same story, was promised a lot coming up on a year ago. Panels were installed, but still not connected to the grid and the same run around everyone gets. They always have a long excuse about the how the company is rebuilding, then disappear for few months. I don’t really trust anything about the actual install anymore, am now paying twice as much in bills, and really regret everything about Lumio.

The overall job was done in a timely manner however, the contracted workers damaged our bathroom ceiling. We have made several attempts to resolve the issue but Lumio representative always indicates they will handle the problem but to no avail the situation remains to this day.

This company has been horrible since after signing the paperwork. We decided to go with them, because their contact was local, and that mistake is on us. The not showing up for any appointments, never being on time, not having the system GROUNDED, and leaving our solar electric box not waterproofed is on them. We signed up in March of 2022 to get the system, our system was installed November of 2022 and end of January 2023, we are still not turned on.

Absolutely horrible. We gave the company the time of day to pitch their solar panels. They kept reassuring us this would costs us $0, yet for us to tell them we will not be interesting in a project like this at the time-there is a cancellation fee for their "design & permit" they did. No where in the discussion was this brought up. We even said it's not a project we would feel to do right away. The fee we would have to pay now is $200. Ridiculous.

We are MONTHS into the install and we are still getting random individuals stopping buy with more issues from the install. Lumio Solar is a very irresponsible solar company. My solar installation started in Sept 1 2022 and is now December 15 2022. The solar installation has not been completed and Lumio has started automatically with drawing money from my bank account. Now I having to pay my regular electrical bill as well as Lumios solar. They Lie to you rob you and steal from you. This the most corrupt irresponsible company I have ever dealt with.

We had Lumio replace our roof and add solar panels. They only replaced about 90 percent of the roof and aren’t going to complete the job. The salesperson deceived us about our roof on his sales pitch and now we are stuck with an incomplete roof We have tried to get bids to finish it but know one wants to touch it because it will void the warranty. We are stuck and they won’t respond to our emails.

My problem has been for one with my sales rep he does not communicate I am getting no help from him. Akaish) i have PTO and am trying to get help doing up acct for service but was told that my panels wood only generate a 200.00 dollar difference and my bill would be 417.00 for month dont know who else to talk to I am doing with solar but not able to use. I am very unhappy with my system. I am NOT getting what I was promised!! Everytime I contact customer support I receive a different answer. In addition, I receive promises that someone will call me back, but that does not HAPPEN!! I live in a very large community in Florida and I tell all of my neighbors about all of the problems I am having!!

They have been giving my sister the run around on connecting as well. We went to the permit section at city hall only to find they didn't get a permit to install the panels. Therefore, they cannot call for an inspection, ergo you cannot connect to the power. Appropriate action will be taken against this company to rectify this egrigous act of what appears to be complete negligence and fraudulent behavior.
