Initially, the experience was great. However,since the install I have not gotten a response back from the install team about removimng and patching my roof, as it it now leaking. At this point , I am being generous with my rating. Very disappointed in the lack of response.

The installation process was reasonably painless, though it did take a bit longer than anticipated. The panels look good, and are functioning nicely - usually reaping the sunlight power needed to offset the cost a bit - not much though. I am a bit unhappy that I was not given the opportunity to include a solar BATTERY for my home - which would have been SO much more convenient given our power outages and hurricanes. I've tried to contact LUMIO several times, and am beginning to wonder if they are still in business... Wish someone would CONTACT ME ABOUT IT!!!!!

Lumio installed out solar panels and back up battery a little over a year ago. They did an excellent job with installation, but communicating with them regarding service issues has been a headache. We had AC minisplits installed after the solar went in, and the AC installers did not connect it to the backup battery. As a result, when we lose power everything comes back on EXCEPT the AC. A month ago I phoned Lumio and the receptionist said they would have the service department contact us, but we never heard anything. I got the same answer when I phoned again, and didn't get any reply at all to the emails that I've sent over the past month to customercare at lumio.com. We are very frustrated, since being able to have AC after a hurricane power outage was a major reason why we wanted to get solar in the first place.

I have been happy for the most part with the installation and how the system is operating. I am a little concerned about the number of panels we have installed. I have checked and we are currently have an average of 57% of our electric being covered. I know the days are shorter and their are more cloudy days but, I thought our average would more like 80%.

The process of from start of installation to the actual PTO (Permission to Operate) takes longer than what the sales personnel will tell you. However, all of the employees have been very friendly and answered questions I had during the installation process. I did have a micro converter issue after my system was active. Two attempts were made to resolve the issue but after the second failure the inverter was replaced, and I have had no issues since.

Excellent service in Eastern WA. The entire process from sales pitch to first PUD bill was white gloved. We know we made the right decision. First electric PUD bill came in exactly what Lumio predicted. Solar math can be a gamble but Lumio did an amazing job.

Two salesmen came to my door this evening from Lumio. Even tho I won't be installing any solar panels because I'll be selling my home soon, we discussed the solar industry and where it is heading in the future. They were very knowledgeable and polite. I took down their information and would definitely recommend them to request a quote!

I HAVE HAD SOLAR PANELS FOR OVER 4MTHS NOW AND HAVE YET TO HAVE IT TURNED ON. THEY DIDNT PASS INSPECTION DO TO THE PERMIT NOT BEING IN LOMIO'S NAME, BUT STILL IN THE PREVIOUS COMPANIES NAME(UNPROFESSIONAL). THE CITY WOULD NOT APPROVE THE INSPECTION. I HAVE HAD TO PAY TWO OF MY REGULAR ELECTRIC BILLS AS WELL AS MY BILL WITH GOODLEAP, AND MY SOLAR PANELS ARE NOT EVEN TURNED ON. I'VE BEEN TOLD I WAS SUPPOSEDLY GOING TO BE REIMBURSED FOR MY GOODLEAP BILLS. WHICH WILL TAKE UP TO 3WKS TO RECEIVE THAT REIMBURSMENT, BUT IN THE MEAN TIME I HAVE 2 MORE BILLS COMING UP THAT I HAVE TO PAY. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH LUMIO'S SERVICE, EVERYONE I SPEAK WITH TELLS ME THE SAME THING, "I WILL GET RIGHT ON IT AND HAVE SOMEONE GET RIGHT BACK WITH YOU". THIS COMPANY HAS LEFT A VERY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH.

My salesman was peter.we were under the clear understanding that Fleetwood. What sufficient panels placed on our roof that would provide production? They would offset our entire electrical bill. Although we had only been In this home 10 months this sales person was confident that they would be able to provide us with the appropriate number of panels. I indicated that if more panels would be needed to supply us a proper coverage of electronic production,. We would not be liable for that expense that they would have To Do it being Lumio. He assured me that the Number of panels installed would be more than enough. My system was installed in March 2020 three.on June 8th of 2020 three,. The system shutdown for no apparent reason and we were unaware of such shut down. I noticed my bill 6 weeks later and it was quite high. I called blue meal they indicated the system was off and they don't know why. Period there's no alert there is no alarm there's nothing the indicates the system is not working. I don't understand the in efficiency of a company that sells you something so expensive that it does not have any kind of an indicator.. 6 weeks after that call they finally showed up. I will say the gentleman named Eric was quite good at what he was doing and educated me as to what the app would be on my phone and how. To work it and he got my system back online.in the meantime. I'm paying for the loan. I'm paying for a very high bill and I ask for a refund from Lumio. That request was made in September of 2023. It is now 6 months later and I have not received anything accept excuses and it's coming and we'll get back to you.i have made no. Less than 4 calls I have. Sent? No ❤️ emails. Trying to address this deficiency.so far I have gotten 0 response or result. I've only had one month that I could actually see how the system works June. It was shutdown so I lost all but one week of coverage July was shutdown so I lost the entire July coverage and in August I lost 2 of the 4 weeks because the system down.so September was the only month that I could have seen at the efficiency of the system. Period with that the panels only produced the equivalent of 3 weeks of power consumption. It's just my wife and I and we are retired. We have our home. Typically at 80° sometimes 70 eight.that's not cold that is. At best somewhat comfortable but we're trying to watch our money' 'cause. We're retired.so with that it seemed rather obvious to me that the agreement I had with the salesperson that we need more panels to cover the. System efficiently. Let me know has refused and they said that it's not on the contract. And they're not responsible for what the salesman offers.my argument is they represented lumio. They wore their shirt by that very same name so my next move is to report it all to the Attorney General.

We got a new roof along with our solar panel installation last year. We have had no problem with the solar panels, but we do have a problem with the roof. Our home owner's insurance checked the problem and said it was poor workmanship, that we should contact the roofer. We have tried multiple times to communicate with Lumio. We got one response right after we reported the problem, several months ago. They stated that a claim had been filed. Since then, we have gotten no responses to any emails, not even after having the report from the insurance company. BEWARE, the customer services, post installation, are horrible.

My experience is more targeted around customer service. I started my project early Feb 2023 that included removing older solar panels, a reroof, installing new solar panels and an electrical panel upgrade. I am constantly trying to find someone to communicate with on the status of my project. I have been passed to 4 different account managers and several sub- contractors. I call and never receive a call back. I am given contact information to text but I never receive a reply. I have gone on the web and found the customer service number only to wait in queue for 20 min to be told I have a new account manager and that someone will call me back. There is no supervisor available for me to speak to and all I hear is "I am sorry". If I could do it over again, I would have never gone with Lumio. I am so frustrated and $80k in the hole that I am now committed to. The promises are great but at this rate I cannot imagine what I will do should I need service or have warranty issues. This is totally unacceptable. I know that this project would take some time but the lack of communication is horrible. I would not recommend this company. Timelines provided are no where near what the sales team provides you and the reality is this is a very long and drawn out process. I am crossing my fingers that they do no t start billing me before my system is fully operational.

The selling and buying from Lumio went great. The installation from Enphase went great. The communication from Lumio to their customer is non existing. Your left guessing were things are in the process, when they are done and ready to turn the system on. My system has been up and running since May 10, 2023. They still show it in the Installation phase. I have had access to my system through the Enphase app since May 10. Since July 5th i no longer have access. I called Enphase and they informed me that Lumio removed my acess.

The salesman was very good to work with and a local, so I had more trust. Unfortunately the process has been a nightmare. They drop shipped the equipment in my driveway, because it was supposed to be a single day installation. The crew was here from Florida and didn’t the sufficient equipment. It then snowed and delayed the installation for over a month. Leaving my driveway and garage obstructed. After calls and complaints, they gave me a $500 gift card for the inconvenience. Then after the installation the inspection was failed. The inspector said this is common for Lumio, as their installers are from out of state. Once that was corrected the power company came to swap out the meter, and this failed because the installer turned off the system in the computer settings. Had to wait longer for repairs. After 5 months of paying and not producing the system was finally operational. I was told from the start that I would be issued a $1000 gift card to help supplant the double costs, over $500 a month in Solar and electricity payments. Still being dismissed for the reimbursements gift card. From what I hear this is common. The regional manager that I have been working with, says there is a significant back up on the issuing of these reimbursements. So, in her words this must be a fairly universal problem. Would not recommend unless you can make double payments for the product and local energy company, for at least 6 months. After reading all these issues, maybe a class action would be appropriate. The system itself once up and running works very well.

Wish I had never signed up with this company, my job started last Sept (?) and still has not been completed i.e. no solar hooked up yet. My experience is way too long and complicated to even try to remember everything to type in this review but it boils down to this, I have been waiting now since April for the completion process and had called customer service last week, spoke to an employee who said she would reach out to our person in charge of the job AND issue a refund check for the payments I started in January, we'll see how long that takes!! I had been dealing with Emilie but she no longer returns my texts.

Atlantic Key was the installer and then I ended up after installation for service with Lumio and very dis-satisfied with them for warranty service These are warranty issues I am dealing with now and very unhappy. A request to repair leaks was submitted August 30, 2024. This was after being told to ensure that the leaks were from the solar. I contacted my roofer who came out and verified they were not from the roof. We had to cut holes in the drywall to verify the water was coming from the cables coming into the attic from the solar. In the kitchen, we found that the connections of the cables were not connected properly. Lumio had us turn the solar off. We have had energy lose due to the heat coming into our home from the holes in the drywall. The leaks are in the kitchen and dining area. We were unable to get into the attic to get the pictures so cutting the drywall was they only way to get the pictures. Finally, a tech came out September 18th, 2024. The tech put tar around the boxes where the cables came into our home on the roof. That did not do anything for the leaks. Lumio has been notified multiple times. I have phoned them a total of 11 times and emailed them 5 times some with pictures. During the hurricane Milton we had substantial rain come in and they were called both before and after the storm again about the leaks with no results. Lumio has been paid a lot of money for the solar and so they are don't seem to care. I am supposed to have a warranty. What warranty? My husband is 74 yrs and a disabled veteran, and I am 70 yrs old with AFIB and am supposed to have heart surgery. We should not have to be dealing with this mess. We are retired and should be able to enjoy retirement. Not being stressed out about our home and damage to it. The customer service representatives have been very courteous all the times I have contacted them. I found that Lumio has recently filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy and am not sure if that is why such poor customer service or if the poor customer service is the reason they have had to file Chapter 11. They installed the panels within the first 2 to 3 weeks and then it took them almost 2 years to have them running. a lot of fail inspections and upgrading and it seemed like every2 months went by before they came and did something . Now after two years this March we are waiting for a reimbursements since last November 2023. All we keep getting is your reimbursement is being processed. Eight months of waiting for a reimbursement is outrageous. I wish I would’ve done my homework but sadly this put me and my family through a lot of changes. I wonder what it’s gonna be like the next 25 years if something happens with solar panels. I lost my trust in them.

I only gave one star because I could not go any lower. This company has decent customer service after they bend you over a barrel. The salesman Cody made all kinds of promises and what sounded like a decent pitch. After the pitch I figured what was there to lose. I was promised first 3 months no payment and no electricity bill to ensure the system was online and producing as promised, then if it wasn’t able to produce what they promised Lumio would come out and add panels at no cost to make sure they met their “production guarantee”. After the system was installed and online the salesperson was nowhere to be found, refuses to answer or return any of my calls or messages. Finally after 2 months of service which I have paid for along with my excess electrical bills I was informed that there is NO production guarantee but they’d be happy to get me a quote for additional panels to make up for what they weren’t producing. After the first bill came through along with my normal electric bill I reached out to the company to insure I had the correct number for my sales rep. They assured me that I did and also explained to me that the 3 months of them covering the electric and color bills was something that the salesperson had to take care of and it must be in writing or they can do nothing about it. Since he cannot be reached by me that is just another loss cause and lie told by the salesman that the company is refusing to do anything about. This has put my family under financial strain and they don’t care anything g about it. I cannot recommend this company to anyone and will tell you if you do decide to go with them make sure you have everything you want in writing and signed by the salesperson before you sign anything.

Don’t waste your time with this company. Had a guy come D2D and I’ve been interested in solar so I was willing to hear them out. Scheduled an appt a day later and Israel, sales rep, shows up 15 min late to the appt. Red flag after red flag during the meeting. Asked what the price of the panels were and he said “we actually don’t know”. Told him I was going to shop around so provide me his proposal which I agreed. He said in order to send that over he has to run a prequalification. I was very clear I wasn’t signing anything today but he sent me an installation agreement, and finance agreement and tried saying the proposal was in the documents and I need to open them. Asked again specifically just for the proposal and he said “oh yeah I have another meeting after this but will send it on my lunch break”. Day later and never received it. When I told him I was shopping around his response was “I’m trying to get my guys paid so I gave you the best price possible so I wouldn’t shop around” LOL. Whole process was a total scam trying to get me to commit that day. Wouldn’t come close to this company.

$91,000! Somehow that number slipped right past me when I was basking in the glow of the realization that I was doing something wonderful for the environment and saving on my electric bill by purchasing solar. I just didn’t see that number go by. Well, I must admit that Lumio was correct in that I do not usually have to pay anything on my electric bill which is usually $70 - $120 a month. However, for the last couple of years I have been paying $263 a month to Enphase for the loan that pays for my solar system. The reason that number has suddenly come to my attention is found in a letter I received telling me that if my balance isn’t down to $62,000 by the end of 2023 the payment will be increased to $380 a month. So according to my calculations I am paying 3 times as much as I would have been had I not opted for solar. I have determined that this account will not be paid in full until I am 113 years old. If for some reason I die before it is paid off my daughter will need to pay on it until she is nearly 90 year old. Think about that before you purchase solar from this company.

Don't do business with this company. I am 48 years old and have owned three companies myself. This has got to be the worst managed company I have ever ran into. Great sales team and quick to take your money. Good luck after that. My project is over a year old now and it is still not complete. Companies like this are giving the whole Solar industry a bad name. I beg you to shop elsewhere... unless you like being ripped off and then not communicated with. Well after a year and half of waiting, and 4 months of complaining and threatening them... Lumio hasn't done anything but keep dropping the ball! More than a year later of paying for a incomplete job, I still have no generator and the solar power promised is 35% OFF!!! I have been paying a solar payment and a power bill because the promised 1600 KWH is way off! I was promised 1600 kwh and we only averaged 923 kwh!!! SO NO GENERATOR, NO SOLAR PROMISED SOLAR PRODUCTION, AND NO FOLLOW-UP OR SERVICE!!! I WISH I HAD NEVER MET THESE CROOKS!!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T USE LUMIO!!!

They installed fast but little communication, installers just through trash in yard and don’t believe when they tell you that you won’t have 2 bills because of a 30 day grace period with the loan company. I called and they told me because the loan was due they’d give me a gift card for first month. It’s been over a month and I haven’t seen any card and they don’t answer my texts anymore. We had 2 months of electric and the loan together we had to pay totaling almost $700 bill for those 2 month.

They are great at taking your money and installing but seem to struggle at everything else. When issues arise near everyone goes silent and its near impossible to get a hold of customer service. Urgent labels and escalated tickets don't help. Its been a disaster from Day 1. Changed design without approval, starting installing them on the one and only place I told them not to. A brand new, month old, $20,000 roof. Its been nearly a year and I'm still waiting on a rebate for panels that were not working for a year prior to that, where people scheduled and never showed, or couldn't fix it. They gave me a non transferable loan after that being the selling point for Solar, Was told (and i paraphrase) if you sell the house you can transfer the loan to the new owner and that way the loan doesn't stay with you so don't need to be concerned about tha't, So have me a non transferable loan for if the house was to sell and wont fix and not even willing to fix that problem and so I'm out of personal pocket $14,000. Cant remove them without paying about ***** for removal. And on top of all that, most months i still get a power bills. There was a $100 **** gift card provided so although it was something it didn't even come close to a acceptable compensation. I get not everyone gets this experience and companies aren't going to be perfect every single time but so many things and big things that shouldn't be messed up repeatedly is a huge disappointment from my experience. But needless to say I have not been impressed in the slightest. Very disappointed and feel extremely cheated by getting solar panels with this company. I will not feel comfortable referring this company on to anyone for Solar. 1 star for my personal experience me is actually pretty generous. I have a resolution in mind but that would involve, agreement, contact and action from Lumio's end and that is proving to only happen as a result of a miracle. Please prove me wrong, that would be awesome! They wont take them back and pay off loans for you, I want the panels gone, I want the loan gone, I want to be out from underneath this company altogether.

Around June 2022, I purchased solar panels from Lift Energy, now Lumio. At the time of the inspection of my roof, they said it was OK and proceeded to install the panels. In January through March of 2023, we had severe rains, and where the panels were installed my roof leaked in three different areas: directly over my bed, kitchen, and living room, and three other areas in my home where the panels were not. I have been contacting them via phone and email for 9 months.I have been transferred to a different account representative 3 times. They have told me time after time that this is being taken care of, and as of today, October 18, 2023, nothing has been done. My last response from them was on September 27, 2023, saying they spoke with the contractor on September 22, 2023, and they are still waiting for them to respond. They also said they could not locate a contractor in my area, and I was told by the person who is now handling my account that I could find one on my own. I want my roof replaced and my ceiling replaced in my house. This could also be a health issue, as the ceiling could have mold. If I could give less than one (1) star, I would.
