LG, Silfab, and Mission Solar Panels

LG panels come with a 25-year parts warranty and operate at 22 percent energy efficiency, which is second only to SunPower. Mission Solar panels are also covered for 25 years, and achieve up to 19.35 percent efficiency. And Silfab panels come with a 25- to 30-year power production warranty along with its existing 12-year limited equipment warranty.

Kosmos Solar also installs award-winning string and micro inverters from SolarEdge on each of its solar arrays, which come with a standard 12-year materials warranty that can be extended to 20 or 25 years. 

Full-Service Solar Installation

Kosmos Solar is a full-service solar energy installer of both roof- and ground-mounted solar panel systems, as well as backup and off-grid systems. After a free initial consultation and home inspection, qualifying homeowners will get the greenlight to go solar. Kosmos Solar provides a custom design and pulls all necessary city and state permits prior to the solar installation process, which goes as follows:

1. Roof Evaluation — The solar provider takes precise measurements of the roof to determine the best way to maximize the solar panel system’s output.
2. Installation Prep — To connect the mounting system, Kosmos Solar technicians will then carefully drill holes in the rafters in a way that prevents leakage and damage to the shingles or structure.
3. Panel Attachment — Panels are then aligned and mounted to the racking system, ensuring proper airflow to allow the panels to perform at their best.
4. Connection — The panels are then connected to the home’s electrical system via solar inverters.
5. Grounding — The entire system is then grounded using a copper wire connected to each inverter.
