In the winter I have to pay more obviously, but in the summertime it kind of makes up for it. I have to pay a regular power bill cost as my payment. It was pretty fast, yet my only problem since I've had was there was a leak in the garage. Where they came through with the wiring. I had to wait a long time for it actually activated.

We kind of felt like we were told stuff that wasn't true. Install was okay, but they didn't do what was up to code and so they have to come back in and redo it and so it took longer for us to get our solar panels up. We haven't had any issues with producing a decent amount electricity. Read the product fine print because that's where we've had a lot of our issues. I still really feel like the representative may seem better train so that way they're not giving people like false information.

It took a while for them to show up for the installation but once they did, it went very quickly. It works well. It can take little while to log in and monitor but once you do, it works well.

The sales guy was great but I am a little frustrated with them because we were told with the size it would generating enough power to not have power bills but that wasn’t true and when my husband asked if we needed a bigger system they said we didn’t. I am not excited and I keep meaning to call them.

It's been working perfectly. I haven’t had any trouble with it. It was hard to get things organized to get it installed but I don’t know if that was their problem or Idaho Powers. Either way it took almost six months.

Customer service doe not get back to me with questions after we had the system. Installation was on time but they did some damage to the building. I’ve had it on my property for three years now and I’ve had two problems. It is a long term investment.

It was fairly easy to get it installed. I think the system is fine but I don’t know much about them. There have been times when I have called and asked them to do something and they didn’t do it yet.

Once they got it working, it worked great. Installation was hassle free. They are always supportive and helpful. I’ve had a few issues, and they have taken care of them.

It was pretty quick. We did end up having leaks in our roof and when I called to get it resolved I instantly got someone to the house to take a look at it and fix it.

When they came to help they never told me they were only going to do a partial plan, so I'm paying for twelve panels and it's not even touching my power bill. I still pay the same for my power bill and a bill on top of that for my solar panels. I've called four or five times to have somebody come out and tell me what's going on and I never did have anybody show up to explain to me what's going on so I had to call my neighbor who had a friend that told me that I don't have enough.

Customer service and support was pretty good, It was the outcome that was not good. They had to go through a second party company here in Washington and that was terrible. The equipment is top quality. It's a very slow process, don't be misled when they say that they can turn around in forty five days.

It's been good. Just the follow up wasn't very good and we had our solar panels installed in January and they didn't start working until August because there wasn't any follow up really. And it was kind of hard to get him out here to get it work. The install went smoothly and it was pretty good.

It was a long process with my speed bumps. There are undersides of the system that they didn’t do their due diligence on and then they stopped responding with no resolutions to their mistakes. The inverter was broken from the start. They had to order parts to fix it. The date of installation was pushed back several times. It does now work the way it is supposed to.

The salesman I dealt was with very easy to deal with. He was very responsive. We ran into a couple of issues during installation and it was very painful and there was a lack of communication which was frustrating but in the end it all worked out and everything works properly. It is set up well.

Horizon would call and be available to return calls up to the point they had the money. Once we tried to get them to finally get the solar turned on after months of trying, they wouldn't return our calls and we never heard from our project manager again. They didn't show up at scheduled times or even days(when we took off work and stayed home to be there), then would show up randomly without our knowledge and leave our gate open so our dogs ran off, not once but multiple times. It was a myriad of issues of this sort.

I would not recommend this company to others. Our system was not turned on and functioning for months after their promised deadline. They would promise a call back and then never call. We would follow-up and they would continue to say someone would reach out to us to schedule the completion of our system. This went on for months until someone finally came to finish the installation/complete setup.

Several people with HorizonPwr told me I could take the federal tax credit and give it to the loan company to reduce the amount of time of my loan. This is simply not true. The tax credit is applied against any tax owed and cannot be "given" to the loan company. It was false advertisement of the product and misleading of the public.

The first contractor made a very expensive and time consuming error that delayed the completion of our project. The foreman of the installation put the inverters on the front of our house, even though he was told at the time that this was not acceptable.

Production isn't as high as I want and I feel like I was lied to and I put my money into it. The installers are great, they follow up with what they say they're gonna do. On multiple occasions my converter has quit and they basically said to restart it again. Pretty slow to return my calls. They just need to do a one year warranty.

The first disappointment was after the install, I found out that the contractor company chosen by Horizon PWR was not an acceptable contractor with the Oregon Energy Trust. Thus, I did not receive the Oregon Trust rebate, which was a substantial amount.

There was a lack of prompt communication about the need to reschedule. I had arranged to work from home for nothing on one day. The electrician and another crew member got into a fight in my garage. I was told I would get one month of credit for all the inconvenience. I haven't seen it yet and I e-mailed 2 weeks ago. I still haven't seen a response.

The worst solar company. Every time I called them they said that they'll do something and never do it and never called back and never give you information on the solar update. They said they'd have it done in two months they didn't get it done on time and I still don't have my batteries and it's been six months since I had it installed so incomplete after six months. Don't use Horizon.

The sales person that came to my house seemed knowledgeable and seemed like a good fit. There was some good customer support there was also some very poor customer support. The installation process was for the most part good. Scheduling and getting all the the correct stuff wasn't necessarily smooth but the actual installation itself was once once everything was figured out. It took a lot of grief to get to that point.

Installation was fine but it took a long time and the salesperson who came to my house was fired. We are not getting all they said we would. They said it would be over a hundred percent of our power and that is not exactly right. It takes twenty to thirty years to pay off so it is a great investment but not as good if you are older.

It was a terrible experience I'm not kidding. I wish that I never got into it. They did not do a very good job. It took almost six months to get this thing going, I was very unhappy and I've asked also for a paper records of what I received so I can have some proof of something and I don't know how many times I've asked, but I've got nothing. Sounded like a good deal but I am very disappointed.

Yeah their customer service so far has been very poor. The process seemed to go pretty smooth. They really haven't addressed needs and haven't addressed problems in a timely manner if at all.
