25-Year Warranty
Five Star Solar provides a 25-year warranty for guaranteed solar energy. This includes 25-year coverage for labor and materials, as well as a 25-year workmanship warranty and lifetime racking warranty.
While Five Star Solar offers a 25-year warranty, its panels are designed to last up to 40 years. Additionally, when customers purchase Five Star Solar’s Panasonic solar panels, they are protected under Panasonic’s Triple Guard Warranty.
High-Quality Equipment
Five Star Solar is the only authorized Panasonic premium HIT® solar panel dealer in California’s Central Valley. The company provides the full Panasonic product line, so customers can choose the best panels for their situation.
Some Panasonic HIT® panels are integrated with the Enphase app, so customers can see in real-time how much energy they are saving. These solar panels are designed to work effectively in the California heat, providing high power outputs at high temperatures. In addition, many of the Panasonic solar panels are equipped with draining systems to prevent rain accumulation and water damage.
Financing Options
Five Star Solar has partnerships with Admirals Bank and Ygrene to provide different options for financing a solar purchase. Admirals Bank provides two loan options:
- Solar StepDown Loan — allows customers to re-amortize their loan within the first two years of solar installation and lower monthly costs.
- FHA Title 1 Home Improvement Loan — contributes 100% of the cost at installation, along with low-interest rates and flexible term lengths
Ygrene provides 100 percent of the installation cost with no down payment. Customers can pay the loan back over 30 years, but there are no monthly payments. Instead, payments are made on their property tax bill.
With all financing options at Five Star Solar, customers get the benefits of full ownership (like tax credits), without having to pay the total cost upfront.

No Leasing Options or PPAs
The only financing options available to Five Star Solar customers are purchases with loans. While there are various options for these loans, if you are hoping for leasing options or power purchase agreements, Five Star Solar does not provide these.
