While many solar installation companies offer some sort of free initial consultation, First Class Roofing and Solar goes above and beyond with drone and walk-through inspections to ensure that the structure is an ideal fit for a solar system. This means that any questions or concerns an interested customer may have will be thoroughly addressed.

First Class Roofing and Solar has remained a Georgia-focused operation. First Class Roofing and Solar is relatively restricted when it comes to the area it provides solar installation services in. Current cities serviced include the following:

Outside of these cities, prospective solar clients will need to look elsewhere for solar installation services.  

Undisclosed Equipment Information

Despite offering solar sales to clients, First Class Roofing and Solar has not disclosed equipment partnerships or information to prospective clients. Most solar installation companies will make all of these details public as a majority of companies have manufacturer partnerships or are authorized dealers of certain equipment providers.

This does not seem to be the case with First Class Roofing and Solar as the company has decided not to disclose equipment or brand information. This is critical information for interested clients, so not making it available during the purchasing decision process is concerning. 

Undisclosed Warranty Details

Solar systems installations cost from $15,000 to $25,000 on average, and most solar installation companies will offer an equipment and workmanship warranty. Generally, the solar manufacturer or the equipment installer will provide the equipment warranty which usually lasts 25 years and covers repairs and replacements to equipment. The solar installation company itself will then offer the workmanship warranty. These warranties are usually 10 years in length and cover any issues that can be attributed to installation.

However, First Class Roofing and Solar does not disclose any warranty information so it is unknown whether these types of warranties are even offered to clients. 

Lack of Financing Specifics

Very few property owners are able to pay for systems upfront and outright. Some will decide to pay for their solar system in cash, but that is not a reality for every client. To combat the steep investment costs of solar, most solar installation companies offer at least one financing option whether it is through a loan, lease, or PPA agreement.
