Dish TV was one of the better satellite TV choices for me. They have great promotional packages and a good selection of channels.

The service is the worst. Shortly after starting my dish service I realized my box did not work properly. They would not repair or replace my box unless I paid to do so. I dealt with 1/2 of the capability that I paid for for 2 years. I cancelled my service as soon as my contract was up. They then charged me to return the equipment. They would not let me print my own shipping label, I had to use their $15 box and label.

I am very discouraged with dish network because my 77 year old mothers house burned to the ground she lives on a fixed income and has nothing left to her name. We called to have her service cut off and they are charging her $300.00 to turn her service off. No compromise. I would not use this company that is going to be this disrespectful to a 77 year old woman whose life was turned upside down to a fire.

Customer service is horrible!!! U go in on a special plan then after years of being a customer the plan expires so they just change ur cost without warning then try to tell u that u have to take less for more. No working on coming up with a good compromise. Just straight take the less for more or leave. I will NEVER go back to dish and I hope they go under.

If I could give 0 stars I would.... DON'T GET Dish TV company. This is the worst TV company I have ever had. I go more than half the time without service then with. Don't get this service......👎👎👎 And now I'm stuck in a 2-year contract and I'm only less than a year in. If I could get out of my contract I would. I do not recommend you get in a contract with these people you're going to hate this service.

Dish sold me a service connected to Hughes Net internet that was entirely inadequate and had to be discontinued. I cancelled my account. I did not expect to be billed for Hughes Net for another year and three months for service I could not use because the inadequate satellite service was discontinued. This type of business practice takes advantage of elderly clients and others who do business in good faith. Dish had to have been aware that I was being charged for the Hughes Net even though I had no means to use it.

Dish has the best DVR in the business but if I had it to do over I’d never get the Dish service. We get it primarily for local network channels but every year Dish has a contract dispute with somebody. Now it’s NBC, so we are missing all of our favorite shows and lots of sports. DirectTV is a better satellite service.

I had dish for over 15 years and only watched maybe 3 channels out of the supposed 250. The bill kept increasing while the service decreased. Finally dropped them for Netflix. Rather than sending me a final bill they opted to send it straight to a collection agency. I paid it immediately once I recievied the bill from the collection agency. Just goes to show how well Dish treats their customers. Will be suing if it shows on my credit report.

We recently moved. As part of our move we left our Dish equipment for the folks that bought our house. So we made a bad choice, we did not read every word of the three pages of stuff no one reads (you should). So the end result, even after the two year commitment is you will have to pay $430 bucks. I feel this is a predatory company. The bottom line is Dish is taking advantage of you just clicking agree without reading. Predatory….like I said. Don’t get Dish.

I got a antenna now and love it . Because i was very unhappy with dish. I have a summer place in maine im only there for two weeks a year. Many years ago i got dish with the WELCOME PACK PACKAGE. It is very few channels. IT was only $20 month then dish greedy $20,$30, $45 then one day the guy says no more welcome pack it will be $78 a month. Wow. Greedy. I decided that day im getting a antenna in the wilderness (maine) and i get more channels then i had with dish and it is free. Im so happy i even get my favorite channel Metv. I never got that from dish.

If you want your TV experience to be forever miserable, subscribe to DISH. This has to be one of the worst companies on the planet. They are costly and they don't provide the cable channel HBO because they and HBO couldn't agree to a contract. This is not surprising since DISH seems to not give a whit about pleasing their customers. DISH's service is interfered with in rain, snow, and wind. My service has been non-existant for over a week because tree branches are getting in the way.

Absolute worst! If you're not losing your service because "joey" is doing his own thing, it's because their signal goes out. They refuse to send out a technician (unless you're starting service) and do everything over the phone. That may not be bad IF you could understand the person on the other end. Wanted to cancel service but you get hit with a ridiculous fee. Can't wait till October to rid myself of them!

Unethical buisness practices. Will stick it to you every chance they get. Package fees are just a start. Think your paying $99/ mo till you get a bill then you realize all the hidden fees. You call, they remove then next month they show up again. You call and play the game cept this time they threaten you with early termination fees. Don't walk from these guys....RUN. Will NEVER go with anything DISH related again. Liars ant thieves.......

They are terrible. Always having issues with local channels pricing therefore no local channels available. No CBS channel today so didn’t get to watch the Super Bowl. This is after the rep told me at 4:00 pm that it would be broadcasted on a different channel at 6:30. Not!!!!! My bill stays the same without the channels offered in my original agreement package!! How does this sound reasonable???!!!! We regret ever signing on with them! Now we are stuck with them for 2 years!

Went to collections because they wouldn’t believe me, once I made a bad review on BBB I got a different number to call. Oh just give us the tracking number, I did and they said thanks. But I asked about collections and they said nothing they can do. STAY AWAY as you can’t believe them.

If you have a problem with your equipment look out. At the end of 2 year contract my bill went from $96 to $138. Tough times and a 40% increase. I do auto pay. I had no idea it was coming. When I signed up they said at end of contract maybe a $5 increase. Well you lost a customer by being greedy. I was warned about this company.

Flomulous VaanDerstoode ,

Dish customer service is abysmal. It is almost as bad as their equipment, which is pure junk. My hopper has been replaced 8 times in the last few years, not to mention the joeys that don’t work well. Disappearing channels, way high prices for 250 channels of garbage, light rain or a cloud interrupting service, pixellation, audio issues. How this company hasn’t been sued into non existence is beyond me. They are liars, cheats, treat customers like crap and just generally suck. My advice: use ANYone but Dishnetwork.

We have been with dish on and off since the 1980s. The two year agreement is fine but when it runs out they will raise prices. Many times they could adjust the price to the previous two year agreement , because I am a longtime valued customer. Tonight, they said they would adjust it for $20.00 more than what my 2 year agreement was. They use to work with me, not anymore. This week dish network will be a thing of the past in my home.

We have been with Dish for several years. I was furloughed two weeks ago and felt we needed to cancel our dish service, because a lack of income. This past Friday I was asked to report back to work (4/24/2020). I understood my Dish account was paid up until today 4/28/2020. My wife & I called Dished today and were told we could not resume the service we had and there would be additional costs. It obviously did not pay to be a loyal Dish customer for all those years.

Well they started out ok. High price but didn't have many options in the country. Once other options started becoming available the state raising there price and then dropping the channels that makes a person take the higher packages. Then when you want to cancel after 10 years plus being with them they tell you you're ok with forgetting over$200 of loyalty or costumer credits that you never had any idea you had accrued. Not to mention the customer service reps are mostly very rude when things aren't going there way.

Don't believe the good about dish. Real customers will tell you how crappy it really is. I have been in the regional fox sports blackout since July. No credits on the bill for it AND they just increased the bill 6 bucks. If you call them you better have at least an hour or more because you will be on hold for at least 30 minutes just to start. Way too expensive. In the last few years they are always in disagreements with broadcast networks and the best channels are removed. Instead of finding replacements they set up channels like wild west scene scape which is a continuous loop of an animated landscape that is about 5 minutes long. They also have two separate ones of fireplaces burning. Don't waste your money.

Dish. Poor reception. Plays same movies over and over. DO NOT allow access for payment from your credit card. When you call to cancel coverage the wait is over an hour. We cancelled coverage and three months later they still continued to draft payments and increase payments. Dish phone service told me I got the bad seed employee didn't do the job properly to cancel. I had the employee name and number. They would not refund. Thankfully, we have fast speed internet now with endless viewing options thru prime video, hulu etc. Would give a zero star if I could.

I made an appointment with Dish Network to reinstall my connection after their partner HughesNet cut it and then failed to deliver the high-speed Internet it had promised (that's another story). At any rate, Dish never showed, and then said they had no record of the appointment I definitely made. Dish Network is a unprofessional ran business.with very disrespectful customer service agents that do not care for their customers. You sign a 2-year contract and the price goes up 40 dollars in the first year. And take channels away all the time for example the Fox channel and they seem to think it's okay. Stay away from dish save your money go DirecTV or cable company. I highly recommend staying away from this terrible ran company.

Ditch Dish TV They sign you up for a 2 yr package then take away channels with no compensation or ability to get out of your contract. Fox Sports, FS1, Big Ten and all the Fox networks have been removed. Do Not fall for their low prices. Dish TV is a scam to get you to lock in for 2 yrs then take away programs. They will not let you out of contact even though they changed the programming. If I could give them a negative rating I would

Always plays reruns. Half of channels are music. Dish anywhere is a joke it depends where you are when trying to watch TV they do not have it anywhere. To high compared to TV you can get for free through internet. They don’t listen just a sales gimmick be sure to check options before getting this. They keep cutting channels and going up on prices. Bottom line it’s not worth the money. They leave out it depends on where service is located.
