They have the worst customer service I have experienced from a cable, internet, phone company. If you call to switch programming be careful. They could look at your bill and say they need to charge you more for something. They can just increase your bill. They didn't tell me they were cancelling our dvr service when I just wanted to add a program. I ask if there were any changes to billing and was told no. Then surprise. They are not an honorable company!

Xfinity is a terrible company. They have lied to me repeatedly about charges and credits on my account. They also had high pressure sales people calling during this pandemic to insist that I take on new services that I didn’t need or want. After me finally caving in and agreeing to a trial period, they continued to bill me for it after I returned the (unopened, unused) equipment. They are now refusing to credit me for any of it. I’m looking for reliable, honest internet service, if that exists.

I wish i could leave less of a score. Bar none the worst customer service on the face of the planet. Would cheer to see this company go out of business. They take 10 minutes or more to get through the ridiculous automated system. You never get anyone and when you do you can’t understand what they are saying. No matter how many times you call you are put in the wrong department and when they transfer they hang up every time. So you have to call back and start over. They charge entirely too much money. I have had a cable they have left just sitting in my yard for over 2 months.

The company has taken away almost all good channels. So your left with mostly junk channels and infomercial channels. Xfinity told us they could give us unlimited internet for set monthly price. Three months later we notice that we are getting warnings about data limits that we shouldn't have. When we called them to address this issue they told us we didn't have unlimited internet and we would need to pay more money to have it. Xfinity is a sneaky, dishonest company and we will never use them again.

Their customer service is none existent. Because there are almost no employees that actually work here in the United States, call centers suck. I got the complete run around for my entire day because of a billing issue. And the employees when you finally get past the automated system wall which they don’t want you to get around are nice, but are handcuffed by a useless system that gets us no results.

So i had a very bad experience with one of the customer support techinials named James with employee # VUL on 11/25/20 around 9:45-10am. He was in the rush and unwilling to help , keep on trying to hang up on me , while i was checking on the deals and offers you guys have . Guy hates his job and just works - clock-in - clock out, definitely not the right person to have in customer service . Already looking into different service . Serviceman came to install in new home. When to wire and he was working in black mulch with no shoe covering. Stained carpet in bedroom. We just moved in. Local xfinty had carpet cleaned which did not get the dye out. Came back still not. Spoke to custo.mmer issues so many times and get nowhere. Thogh the people helping me are nice, no one with authority calls. This is crazy. Almost 2 months and I look at this stain. The day it was done his supervisor came and took pictures. So now I have to file a claim. Just take care of it please.

Had xfinity for years and moving with them has been a disaster. We’ve been told someone is coming to install our internet three times and when no one shows, we call and they say there’s nothing scheduled for us. No idea how they are so disorganized and can’t confirm and send someone out. How am I supposed to know if someone will ever come. Time to change service.

They do not keep promises. They will make you pay way more than what you signed up for and they will not care if you leave. They are jerks and do not care about loyalty. They signed me up under false pretenses. They are fraudulent and will lie to you over and over again. Do not sign up with them. I promise you, you will not keep paying the same rate they sign you up with. In fact you will be stuck paying 10x more than what was promised.

Terrible service. I pay so much for cable and internet and still have connection errors. I called the customer service line and they literally walk me through the same "uninstall reinstall procedure" 3x just for them to say they have no idea and need to call me back tommorow to fix whatever problem is going on. I have no idea why I pay so much money for a service that barely works when I need it to. Seriously so frustrated with this company

I have had trouble with them from the beginning. Always charging late fees when not late. Never able to talk to live agent. Im on social security and when my bill would come before pay day would make arrangements, then they still shut me off and charged late fees. Straw that broke camels back was this month on the 2nd they said they tried to take payment out but was insufficient funds!! I GOT PAID ONTHE 1ST AND WAS WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH IN THERE. WORTHLESS COMPANY, WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEN ALSO THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM TELLS U THAT YOU CANT TALK TO AN AGENT UNTIL I PAY MY BILL

Lost signal. Waited on hold for over 1hr to speak with an agent that never answered the phone. Went online to try to resolve the issue only to chat with four different people that could not seem to figure out the issue. Called customer service again, this time I was able to speak to somebody that again could not figure out the problem. Now I have to wait 48 to 72 hours for an advanced Technician to call me back. This is the worst service/product I have ever witnessed in my life. So much for being a new customer. Too bad its the only game in town.

No introduction, no telling you when you’re gonna put you on hold, rude communication, and they act like they don’t care whether you want to buy services or not. And by the way I was calling to buy some major services and I was bounced around between three different people one router than the other and nobody even asked me what I wanted to purchase.

Everytime I do anything I have to upgrade my plan and end up paying way more for internet and everytime I try and talk to a agent I'm in a 25+ customer wait. I wish I could fine a plan that fits my needs like they claim to be able to do. I had to update my plan 4 or 5 times now due t o the fact that I can't support enough devices or my usage goes up like crazy and I had to go unlimited. Each time I changed my plan I've had to go up another 20 dollars a month. Starting to get to the point where I'm like is this even worth the hassle... Plus side the Xfinity TV box is ok.

Expensive, unresponsive and shady. Cable and internet have been out for five days now. They keep posting fictional dates/times for it to come back on. Of course you can't get anyone live on the phone and web updates and texts are ridiculous. Three texts now saying things are working which were all bs. I'm sure no refunds will be issued for the lost week of service. Moving to a new place next month and looking forward to ditching this terrible nonresponsive company. Steer clear.

This has been the most draining and frustrating month. I have never worked so hard to give a company my money. After waiting a week for install the technician didn’t knock, call or ring the doorbell. Just left a automatic message saying we have to reschedule. I called immediately after I received message and the next available date was 2weeks after that. I tried to hold them responsible and get a sooner date. This was a huge waste of time. I will NEVER recommend Comcast to anyone for the rest of my life. If you do decide to go with Comcast, God help you.

I called because I Scheduled for my wifi router to be delivered to my new apartment on the 11th of September 2020 or after my move in date and found out they delivered it on the 4th of September 2020! They raise prices on you without notice because your "promotional ended" and you have to call and get someone to give you the same service you just had before. Moving was a disaster. They made a new account for me, raised rates because we weren't auto enrolled in paperless billing (as we were before), and didn't let me know there was a new account number/login so we began receiving late fees.

Moving soon, hoping I can get another provider, anything other than comcast, it’s just crap. Customer service, sometimes can barely understand the person speaking to me. I used to have DISH TV I was in need of a better quality wifi so I checked into Xfinity having heard how good it was. Trying to save money, I purchased the TV+wifi package. Mistake!!!. Should have kept DISH. Reasons: DISH has near 4-5 times as much memory on the DVR than xfinity. TV shows I could record and store on DISH take up the 60 mbps? on xfinity. 30 of which I pay an extra $9.99 for. So if you are considering Xfinity TV, skip it oh...biggest problem...recording conflicts if more than 4 shows at same time.

Xfinity is a monopoly and they are scammers. They are the only service provider in Danbury, Ct and they take advantage of the consumer. I signed up for 2 year service and was told the price would stay the same. After a year the price increased. It is almost impossible to get technical support. I have had so many issues with this company, way to many to list.

I am highly unsatisfied! My mother is 73 years old and in a wheelchair with everything going on in the world they turned her services off. This is not ok. What kind of company does this. The only thing she has to do is watch tv and you took that away from her. She is on a fixed income and when you call you can't get through to anyone. Its says when you first call due to covid 19 "WE WILL NOT TURN OFF YOUR SERVICE" so why lie? They definitely turned her off.

So I checked my bank account, and discovered that I was charged twice! I spent hours calling and going online to try and get a refund. IT HAS BEEN IMPOSSIBLE! I am a single mom, and we are in the middle of a world crisis and they took money I needed for food! I am so ANGRY! The only response that I have gotten is that they will credit my account! I think it’s EXTREMELY unfair that they charged me twice and there is nothing I can do about it!!!!

Xfinity has shut my cable tv off because I can’t ay them right now. I have been a customer with them before Comcast was Comcast. So how long is that? Well due to the virus I have been financially burdened, like many people. So now is the time xfinity/Comcast thinks a cut off of my cable tv later the right thing to do. It’s not like they aren’t going to be paid. They will! So, many other companies are letting it ride, not xfinity. So, I see AT&T is letting there accounts ride this virus pandemic out. I made one change and they automatically locked me in for two more years with out telling me. my brother moved in and wanted the cable bill under his name so I cancelled and he started it up again within 24 hours. now i have them affecting my credit trying to black-male me for 190 dollars. sent me to collections, i will file a complaint with every entity out there, i will spend the rest of my life telling everyone what dirty crooks they are

I moved today returned my equipment got new and better equipment for my new home at the Xfinity store. Went home plugged it in and it didn’t work. Called after talking with someone then left on hold for 62 minutes I got cut off. Called back and after 52 minutes got someone. They told me the store never assigned a new account number and nothing they can do. Told me I have to go back to the Xfinity store. How incompetent can a company be. Someone please explain this to me?

I have been a customer of Xfinity for 20+ years. I have the bundle of the cable, internet, and the phone. When the promotion was going on the price was great but now after 2 years of waiting for a new promotion and paying $285+ a month I am looking elsewhere. I am not going to give up channel 9 (wgn) so essentially this is what I am paying so much for. I am very disappointed as to how Xfinity treats it’s customers of longevity.

They’ll increase your bill without telling you and customer service will just give you the run around. My bill went from $157 to $193. I called (online chat) to have it lowered. They told me it would go down to $162. They even sent an email. The next month, my bill was $173. Their explanation now was due to service fees. It’s very frustrating and time consuming to deal with them.

We left Direct TV for Comcast based on weather issues causing interrupted service. The incredibly poor and unreliable service we had with Direct TV was head and shoulders above the trash we receive daily from COMCAST. This is the absolutely the worse unreliable non-service we have ever received. Being a paying customer in COMCAST is a testamony to my own stupidity.

Comcast customer service is awful. Their customer service personnel are like a bunch of circus monkeys that can only do what they are trained to do. They refuse to escalate our issues as if the engineers are some type of Demi-Gods that we are unworthy to speak to. We have been reporting an issue for over a month now and all they can do is reset the modem or look at the cables - We have a packet capture that shows where their issue is and the refuse to read it. Is that because they don't understand networking, like at all?

You know for the most part I like My Comcast channels but too many to have and try to watch. I just switched my service in Dec 2019 and now it already went up another $10 onto a $200 bill. I think this company sticks and it is too bad it is the only service we can really get. As a 35 year loyal customer..I think I am an idiot to still be loyal to an unappreciative company. You guys suck and your company is full of assholes. Too bad being a good customer doesn't count for anything...you guys rob us all and you should all go to hell and enjoy it!!

I was on the phone for 7 1/2 hours , and spoke to 5 humans to execute the following simple tasks 1. pay my bill 2. change my user name and password 3. add cable to my existing bill the reason I am writing it here is, 6 hours out of the 7 1/2 were to set up something as simple as cable. This company is the meanest rottenest MOST HEARTLESS company in the world, we have been a customer for over 20 years and we had to cancel our cable with them in 11/2019 due to our son having STAGE 4 COLON & LIVER CANCER AND GIVEN ONLY A SHORT TIME TO LIVE, we begged this company to be kind because we were long standing customers and not charge us a cancellation fee but NO they charged us $180 which is ludicrousness & robbery so they put this into collections and guess what Comcast we are still not going to pay it . I would rate this 0/5 stars but that’s not possible. As much as I love the Xfinity platform, the service is absolutely terrible. We disconnected our Xfinity account less than 1 day after signing up and now, 1 month later, we have yet to receive our refund, yet we are still being charged $20 for the month with no explanation... we keep calling and they keep giving us ticket numbers but no actually helping. The ONLY time Xfinity is helpful is when you initially sign up, but never anytime after.
