They are charging the same prices even though they're switching from hardwire to fiber optics and at least in California the whole San Joaquin valley is getting ripped off piss poor service lousy customer service and now they changed their customer service hours so at night when I'm awake I can't talk to anybody I have been getting charged $220 a month for three years but because the phone companies doing the same thing they have no packages to offer California they are ripping us off and getting away with it

I switched from Verizon FOIS to Comcast Xfinity last month, HUGE mistake. Whether watching live TV or a recorded program the picture will sporadically freeze for 3-5 seconds then catch up usually with degraded picture and sound quality. Technical support has been absolutely useless as the technicians basically say "it's all in the cloud now". Customer service also does not know how to handle this and it's been impossible so far to speak with anyone at the next level.

i have only been a comcast customer for about 2 weeks. tv worked for about the first week, then no picture . i found out thru the customer service rep that a piece of their equipment was faulty when they installed it. i don't think the guy they sent out was very good at what he does. he told us things that were not true. only giving them 1 star because i can't give them a 0. if i had a choice it wouldn't be comcast.

If I could give 0 starts I would. I was told when I first started my plant that it would be the cheapest possible option if I got not only wifi, but also a cable box (even though I told them I do not have a TV). I believed them as they were very convincing and showed me numbers (which I now know are fake). And now I recently looked at my bill and saw an extra fee of $8.40 per month. That is ridiculous. It ends up being $20 more that just plain wifi. I am very upset and customer service is not helpful.

Buried the cable diagonally through our back yard. Called three times to have it moved due to having a swimming pool installed. Every time was told I would be contacted to have it moved. No one ever contacted me. Called back a fourth time and demanded an appointment be set up while on the phone. An appointment was finally set up for a date which was three weeks later. NO ONE showed. Called again and was told “someone” will be contacting me. I’ve had it. One more year in my contract and I am done with Comcast/Xfinity was and for all!

Internet is great. Tv is ok. Customer service is lost and confused. Took about a month for install , they kept canceling without notifying me, and anytime I talked with some they were confused and passed me on to someone else. Not to mention the language barrier ( I speak good English)!!!

I have bean with this Comcast company for a very long time. I try to work with them time and time agin. Every time I get my bill set at a low and manageable price they rase it up just cus they want to. Just an ongoing thing. I spent so much money on Comcast and they never work with me when you call in you get ppl that can’t even talk English and sine you up for random stuff that sends your bill even higher. Then your back on the phone doing it all over. I would not recommend Comcast less you have money to throw away.

this has been by far the worst cable internet and phone service I've had and after completion of my 2-year contract and several months beyond the contractual obligation, it will be a great pleasure to exit stage left from Comcast and entering the world of fiber optics. and under no uncertain terms will I ever return to this non-customer satisfying company even if all other cable providers no longer existed.

They are absolutely the worst company to deal with they tell you they're going to give you a $5 discount on your bill if you go paperless I went paperless never received a $5 discount I called them every month and they have all kinds of excuses on why I'm not going to get it right now looking for a new cable company don't go with Comcast Xfinity and when you do get somebody on the phone to talk to you can't understand them because I can't speak English properly

I wish I can leave more than one stars I was with DIRECTV for over 15 years I moved into a complex that only was Xfinity ready will Xfinity is not ready and they do not care about their customers they have oversee employees that do not help them and instead put them on hold while they cursed them out in another language sadly for they, I understand the language they were speaking, please save yourself the time in the trouble and MoveOn elsewhere good luck and God bless

Worse company ever, from Sales, Outsourcing Customer Service, technician, subcontractors, dispatcher, extremely unprofessional and unorganized company. There platform doesn’t work too many tiers, departments to get one issue solve. They missed appointments , technician visits for the same issue and don’t fix anything. If dealing with subcontractors they also don’t show up, again right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. Unfortunately they haven’t competition because the cities “select” the cable provider. Were are our antitrust laws????

The next day I called and once again they just apologized and told me if I wanted the 2 channels I had previously turned back on it would be $30 more a month! This company is ridiculous...

I have been going through family crisis the last two months with my dad getting leg amputated and having Crohn’s disease has kept me from working full time trae last two months. I have asked for an extension and to give checksnor auto pay starting the 11th for 100 dollars each Monday till I get caught up. I was denied and hung up on numerous times even by managers. I feel like a number and not even close to a customer.

We have been experiencing problems with our Comcast for months now. We have to call at least once a week and the employees are trained to say the same thing over and over again. I called yesterday again was given an appointment then transfered to another agent who told me that there was no appointment scheduled. She then scheduled one again and now I received a text saying the appointment will not be met. What a joke.

It’s horrible, when you enter a contrac it’s costly to get out of it. Internet is slow in spring tx and to do away with parts of a bundle service( phone, internet,and cable) they slow down your internet speed. This still leaves you with slow internet and down load speeds. Our tv freezes all the time and when you call for service they just try and sell you something else. I hate Comcast and will go without in the future before I use them again.

Comcast/ Xfinity stay away!!!! I sign a contract for a fixed dollar amount and they raise my rate because their modem fee went up wich I didn't think was my problem a contract is a contract!!! If your disabled don't even try to get any deals with Comcast they don't care! There's other providers out there that will work with you. I had Comcast for 2 years and changed providers all Comcast is worried about is there bottom dollar wheather it's cheating you on your contact or something else. I'll never go back to this inconsiderate company again...

The first tech failed to program the receiver, and ended out taking our remote in his bag. took 3 weeks to get another tech to get the receiver working . we had an appointment to get the cable buried, but they never came. Customer service takes about 1 hr on the phone. then today, found out there is a terra byt limit on the internet connection. first i had heard of any limits. so, have to call and cancel it and move back to our former provider....probably should have known about the limit.

Very Very BAD customer service. The answering person cannot understand ENGLISH and Will not listen to customer's issue or problem. When you ask for supervisor it takes at least 45 MINUTES to one HOUR on hold before some answer if you do not disconnect before that. Even then they DO NOT LISTEN and REPEAT THEIR EXPLANATION . NOTHING EVER GET RESOLVED. JUST SWITCH TO COMPETITOR AND GOOD BYE TO THEM FOREVER.

I wanted to share my last experience with Comcast. My mother in law died so I was busy calling various companies to cancel service. Comcast was disgraceful. I wasn’t listed on the account so they refused to cancel even though I had all her info. They said I had to bring a copy of the death certificate to the nearest store. I am never renting a modem / router from Comcast Xfinity again. They violate their contracts and then try to tell you that the rented modem / router was never a part of the contracted rates. They price gouge on a wim. They went from charging me $144 annually to $168 annually. You can get a better router / modem combo from Amazon for that price, and that is something I fully intend to do. If at&t or any other internet service provider serviced my area, I would use them instead.

I have had the worst experience trying to get xfinity service. I started this process in sept of 2018 when they said they need to run a line. In jan 2019 i revisited the local store to see what happened. They didnt know why i wasnt contacted and the exposed wire has been sitting there. I was able to sched an appt for the tech to come out to set up to find out it wasnt for another box so i will have to schedule another appointment with a call time somewhere between 8am and 8pm. Its now 8:46 and they are a no show. Im baffled how they stay in business.

Please take this review serious to not go thru all the frustration I've been thru. I moved and wanting cable. Comcast came out to hook me up. That was on December 15th. I still don't have services and Comcast has been here 4 times and still have no services. They keep telling me something different each time. So please think before you order from Comcast. And than they don't understand the frustration on way I'm so upset with them.

False promises, multiple times(Internet/Cell) never kept from one agent to another even asked them to review calls as they are recorded and in the end. They didn’t keep up on their end of the bargain! Sent out emails that I would receive gift cards for cell promotions, yet never received then when I make a stink about it they tell me I didn’t qualify for promotion(then why send me an email at all!?). Fraudulent to consumers, so beware! They screw you, utterly & completely!

I’m so sick of dealing with this company!! Internet always has issues and TV as well! Then when they send someone to your house to check they do not inform you to expect a $60 charge on your bill!! Customer service sucks! They basically corner you by saying either take a $20 refund or speak to supervisor who won’t give the refund!!! There has to be a better option out there! The internet service does not work properly. Called a rep and was basically told since i dont own a modem from Xfinity it wont work properly. Then when i asked for a tech ti come out i was gonna be charged. I have sat on phone for overan hour. The quality of service sucks. Always hidden charges ,fees and tech overcharging. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. Your bills always high. I was on phone with a supervisor and he cold transferes me.

If I could give this company zero stars i would. My cable, internet, phone literally go out once a week. When you call the customer service people clearly do not care. When you request a tech to fix your issue it takes weeks to get an appointment. Yet they charge like $ 300 a month for all 3 services. I hate comcast so much i would rather take an actual saw to my forearm then deal with these people ever again. I now have no services because I'd rather keep my money until a good comapany picks up our area. Id love to know how they can charge all this money with such poor service.

The WORST customer service ever! My cable box stopped working and I called Comcast. They made an apt the next night to replace the box. I waited for them for over two hours and they were a no call/no show. I called them and they advised me that they didnt have any available agents to come out. Not even a phone call to tell me that. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they place me on hold for 25 minutes.

Scheduled an installation date of saturday, november 3, 2018 from 1pm - 3pm in rochester hills, mi, which was costing me $60 for installation. I call comcast at 430 pm after spending my day waiting on the same date, customer representative EJ advised the system showed tuesday, november 6, 2018. These guys dont know what they are doing after paying their high prices for service. The representative didn’t apologize or anything like she was programmed to say what she was saying. This company sucks!!!!

I have had gigabyte speed for 6 months never had a problem until this week. Speed has now been cut in half and the technician proceeds to tell me there is stuff in the can do about it and they would like to have me a lower plan. I don’t want a lower plan. So instead of fixing my issue they say there is nothing they can do. This is my 3rd day off work because of this company. They do not have the proper technicians for troubleshooting and then if they can’t fix it they want you to call into reschedule my appointment.

For the amount we are paying for tv and internet, with these people, there should be no pproblems right? WRONG!! Our tv's have been freezing up for months and this weekend even more! I thought after 35 yrs of the old pay and not have service game would be over! NOT!! Can't anyone get this cable service right? I dumped Directv because of the charges getting too high, wish i didn't now! at least i never had frozen tvs and no internet with Direct tv! If I could give them a zero I would. Do not get their service. First of all they never tell you that you can get a plan "contract free" so you sign a contract and they get you with a termination fee if you don't keep it for 2 years. I had a family emergency and had to cancel, i paid my bill on time every time for over 10 years and they still wouldn't refund me. They lied and they steal money and the fact that they are a company is outrageous. Will never be going back and will tell everyone I meet the same.

The technician who installed cable left filthy footprints on my white bedroom carpet. He left after saying that it was "just dust". I'm unable to vacuum up the "dust" and after FIVE telephone calls (to Manila) to request some action, still have not received a call from a supervisor offering a solution. They said we set up payment and when asked what time I called supposedly they said they couldn’t give me that information. And there would be no refund!!!!!! What a flipping joke! Comcast/Xfinity has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. It's very frustrating and difficult to get a straight explanation on billing issues, and there is never a satisfactory resolution. No one seems to have the authority to change anything. I'm on the phone a minimum of twenty minutes each time I call. The agents sound like their reading answers from a script every time I ask a question. The agents are not friendly and will not escalate your concern our inquiry when struggling.

1st time customer and told I would not have a service fee because it was their equipment that messed up..I get my bill and I have two service fees deducted from my account. I pay a month in advance and they did not credit me 2 1/2 weeks without service because they continued to mess up account. 2 mo this into having Xfinity I have had to call 15 different times and been told 15 different excuses.. this company is in professional and rude as all crap!

After two and a half weeks, Comcast completely failed to resolve a previous block on our new rental despite repeated attempts to communicate with customer service. After close to 10 calls with a wide range of employees, no one would return calls, the representatives would tell different stories every time we called, and all of our work was for nothing. My family has been a long-term customer of Comcast, but this interaction has proved to me that as I continue to enter into adulthood that I will never again enlist with Comcast.

This company is the worst. I set an appointment a week in advance due to cable is messing up. The day of the appointment I found out they cancelled the appointment. They stated their system automatically cancelled, without my authorization. In addition, spoke to three representative with no help. They state good things to fix the issue, but in reality didn’t do crap about it. They just lie to your face. Literally got no help and only the option to schedule another appointment.

They have a recorded telephone message that shows that. But they never fixed it . They took over $600 from me by blackmail. I’ll never ever ever ever let that company steal from me again. We were moving and asked to transfer our service to our new address, instead Xfinity canceled our service, wanted to charge us for a new service plan even though we didn't cancel and when we didn't want to continue they decided to charge us 90.00 when once again WE DID NOT WANT TO CANCEL OUR SERVICES. Xfinity sales are very helpful, because it's to their benefit. However, once you become a customer and need help or have questions about anything, they transfer my calls to two different people and each time there is an extreme wait time. I have been on the phone for one hour and no one has answered or resolve my issues. I do not like how they over charge and not provide or believe in good customer service. This has taken way too much of my time and my dinner time!! I am very disappointed with your customer services, I pay $200 a month and this is how I am treated?

I have never had such poor quality service as I do with Comcast. I don’t know how many hours I’ve wasted on the phone with Comcast customer service trying to resolve issues with my internet, but I’d rather not think about it, to be honest. I feel very helpless and hope to find a better quality and MUCH more fairly priced service provider ASAP. Once I do, I will happily suggest to all other Comcast customers I know that they follow suit.

Today in the store we asked to see a list of channels and were told Comcast doesn’t provide that and they can only tell us what would be different. So how do you really makes an informed decision even though we have done our research? Not to mention the outrageous prices to have cable!!

If I could give a zero star I would no doubt. Overall worst customer service EVER! I recently had to cancel my services with Xfinity due to moving. I am being charged hidden fees and I canceled services a month ago and still do not have a final prorated bill! Spoke with a manager today who was unable to explain to me why I was never told about these charges and had no answers. She offered a discount but still would not provide me with a bill summary. Bunch of scammers. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Had Comcast for almost a year. Moved to New home & it has been going out constantly. Internet isn't steady at all. My boyfriend called Saturday & lady said a tech was going to come out & they'd call within a half hour to schedule an appointment. She said she sees where he's has called more than half a dozen times in the month since we moved. They never called. He called them back today. Asked them about the service call he was expecting & they had no record of him calling Saturday!!! Absolutely awful.
