Great Security

Security is an issue for many when using a personal finance management system. Since these platforms require a level of transparency from the user, sharing personal and financial data can cause concern for those worried about identity theft. Bank-grade security keeps all doxo information safe while their automatic status monitoring keeps it simple. Those concerned with security issues can take solace in the fact that doxo is equipped with the following:

Mobile App

While users can log in through compatible desktop computers, doxo also has a mobile app available for download on both Apple and Android devices. Users can also search the doxo directory from any mobile browser to make a payment through their mobile-optimized platform.

doxoPLUS

doxoPLUS is a monthly subscription that allows doxo members to pay any bill, from any device, for just $4.99 per month (plus tax where applicable). With doxoPLUS members receive private pay™ account protection, overdraft protection, and no fees on bank payments. Additionally, members can cancel at any time as doxoPLUS does not require users to sign up for a long-term commitment.

Since doxo is focused primarily on providing a service that manages payments and outgoing finances, the status of current funds and finances are left untouched by their platform. That means that users looking for a budgeting or investment tool may be disappointed since doxo does not provide these types of resources or services to their customers. These missing features, which are typically found in personal finance management platforms include:

  • Budgeting tracker: there is no feature that allows users to track how much is being spent and then seeing a remaining balance
  • Goal setting tool: unless a user's goal is to set up payments and not worry about them anymore, users will not be able to enjoy this service
  • Investment services: users will also not be able to see their money grow as doxo does not track current investments or opportunities

doxo is available free of charge, but certain personal information must be divulged to the service. As part of this agreement, some information is then used for advertising purposes. That being said, that is a relatively small trade-off for a free service.

Consumers who struggle to stay on top of all of their bills and are constantly paying bills late will benefit from the service doxo is providing. The doxo platform allows for complete payment organization. That being said, the service does not offer typical features found in most personal finance management software. When I set up my account with my utility company, I was hesitant to sign up to use Doxo and scoured my utility company's site for a way to make a payment directly to/through them. However, the only way to make a payment was using Doxo - so I signed up for it because I had no choice. I have had no issues or qualms whatsoever. Because they charge some rather ouch-worthy fees (in my opinion) for any forms of payment besides linking your bank account, I just linked my bank account and, again, have had no issues. Payments do take a few days to process, but understanding that, I don't wait until the day a bill is due to pay it. I can't speak for other people, but my experience with Doxo has been just fine.

My experience with d o EXO has been a great experience for me I have no problems it is simple and easy to use you can pay your bills online you can use the card to purchase items shopping clothes or purchase groceries if you need help there's always a customer service online or offline you can call and get help 24 hours a day I would give this card five stars and would also recommend it to family and friends it also helps to build up your credit you can also have your credit line raised higher provided you pay on time I would definitely give it a thumbs up

Doxo is a wonderful platform for paying bills online. I was very hesitant to go to online bill pay but Doxo has made the experience very easy. The online look and setup is clean and very user friendly. If you use a bank account to pay your bills there is no fee. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Doxo to all of my family and friends.

I have used DOXO to pay a bill. My payment was credited the same day as my payment. The site is secure, convenient, and provides peace of mind that my payment was credited the same day. My bill is due on my payday so it is important that the payment is credited that same day. I even get reminders in my email about making my payment. That helps when I'm writing out my bills and budget each month.

This is a very convenient and efficient way to pay our bills. You get the statement via email, notifying you when the bill will be paid, then get a follow-on email letting you know it was paid. And you can download the statements for your files. Very nice!

I’ve used Doxo for my trash and utility bills for the past 6 six years. It’s conveneient to have the bills sent and paid from a single location. The only reason I’m docking a star is because there was one time when my trash service decided to no longer take credit card payments, but it did not sync with Doxo. I was charged twice...once by my bank account and once by the credit card linked to Doxo. Other than that, it’s been pretty smooth.

Doxo is a great way to pay bills. I work long hours and also work late so it is impossible for me to go physically pay a bill during business hours. But with Doxo, I can schedule a bill to pay ahead of time. They always let me know how long it will take to process so that I can make sure the bill gets paid on time every time!

Using the system was not an issue. The issue I had was that I received the payment statement and assumed I could wait a couple days to pay it. Boy was I wrong, the payment didn’t post for 5 days. It cost me a $25 late fee on a $6 bill. Late delivery of payment statement (7 days before the due date) + 3 day wait before paying ( this is on me) = $31 ride on a couple mile toll road.

Doxo has been a reliable alternative to autopay with fidelity and guaranty. F & G does not offer ANY method online to pay monthly premiums. The cost of stamps, envelopes and associated time spent justifies using doxo.

Doxo makes bill pay easy. I love that I was able to set up auto pay but also have a max bill amount until I have to manually pay. The only downside was that when I switched bank account it seemed to have kicked out my auto pay which left me behind one month on my bill before I noticed. That may have been my doing though.

I am impressed with the ease and security provided for payments. I would recommend that you post a payment 2 days before the due date as a submission I made 24 hours prior to due date did not get posted in time so I had to pay a late fee. Overall I'm satisfied and would recommend to others

WATCH OUT FOR THESE CROOKS!! I was paying my insurance bill online on my insurance companys site just as I always do. I was obviously redirected to Doxo. I did not know I was redirected as I specifically went to my insurance companys website as always. I have never heard of Doxo and thought that my insurance must have a new payment page and system as I had to type in my email address and confirm the email they sent for what I now know was setting up the doxo account. I thought they were updating my info in their new system.I had no idea this was a third party. If they are a reputable company then why dont they stick to traditional ways to solicit business rather than showing up as a pop up that no one would think that is not who they intended on paying. I have since contacted my insurance company and they have no affiliation with Doxo and furthermore you can pay online throught their website for free as you do not need a third party. Why would I use a third party when I dont have to? I called doxo to request a refund. They denied saying they already made the payment. I asked why dont you stick to making money off of people that intend on using you and refund the ones that you tricked into using you that did not intentionally use you. They said the fee was documented in the payment. That may be so but I did not look at the payment that well because I expected it to charge me exactly what I put in the payment. Again I thought I was on my insurance website and I had no reason to look to see if they might charge me differently. My bill was $2342.00 and they charged a fee of $82.25 so my total was $2424.25. I never looked at it again until I saw the charge on my credit card statement and It did not match my bill. I am pretty smart when it comes to the shysters and thieves but doxo got by me. WATCH OUT FOR THIS CROCKED COMPANY!

I did an online search for my water company to pay my water bill. Doxo popped up as if they were associated with the water company. My water company recently did a web page make over and I assumed this was something new, It wasn't. I paid my water bill through these people on 10/17, the money cleared my bank on 10/18 and on 10/28 my water was shut off. The way these people do business is that they take a customer's money and then they MAIL the vendor one of their checks. No where during the payment process do they mention that it will take 2 weeks for them to mail a check to pay my bill. They mis-represent themselves as the company your trying to pay and then they hold on to my money for 2 weeks making interest off the money. I contacted Doxo and was met with indifference. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why I pay Doxo a monthly fee that is greater than the fee charged by the payee. Seems counterintuitive but it seemed the only way to pay online.

I paid my trash bill twice with doxo. Both times company said they did not receive my payment. They stopped picking up my trash. I had to make MANY phone calls to get this straightened out. When I did a chat with doxo, the response was worthless. I will not be using doxo in the future. I feel that doxo owes me for my time wasted and inconvenience of my overflowing trash can

My dad had been using doxo for years paying our sewer bill. I recently took over the household finances and I was floored. There was a seven dollar service charge tacked onto the total we owed. Every month for at least 6 years or so. That is atrocious. No thanks. A simple phone call on my behalf and I paid the bill charge free and no processing time delay. Save yourselves!

Doxo is easy to use and intuitive. I appreciate that my utility company uses Doxo because it makes paying my bill simple.

I use this to pay two of my bills, if it wasn't for the 3.99 charge I would use it for all my bills..eventually because of this $3.99 charge I will stop using it and find another way to pay pay those 2 bills

Fees vary based on what the provider/payment processor is charging us. While we’re actively working with billers to reduce both fees and overall processing times, there are times when we need to pass those fees on to the consumer. You’ll see them in the payment flow (prior to confirming payment) where they’re based on the biller and the type of payment (bank transfer, debit, or credit card). Until we get to a point where we can offer more billers at a $0 fee, I can understand your desire to pay directly.

However, if you have a few hard-to-pay billers, or those that don’t accept online payments, the convenience of making these payments from a single account can (for some people) offset those fees. We encourage all our users to pay in whatever method is best for them.

I use Doxo to pay one of my bills and have never had any problems. It’s easy to use and quick to pay bills with. Great program.
