When I was researching it, the person that I talked to on the phone was very courteous and sounded very honest. When comparing the prices, some of the other companies would charge over a hundred dollars, especially with all the whistles and other features. Medical Guardian was the cheapest, $70 as the young man told me, so I went with it. I wear it 24 hours a day and I'm still very mobile. I drive my car, go to town, go to church, etc. So far I haven't had any incident, thank goodness, but I feel comfortable knowing that it's there. If something were to happen to me, if I fall or something, I would have it at hand. Being 83 years of age, being protected is a great thing.

In all honesty we haven't had this for very long. We did our initial testing when we installed it, but we haven't even had it for long enough to do the second monthly test. I have talked to some people when I had questions and everybody was very nice, helpful, and courteous. When we first got it we did have a component missing, but I just called them and they rushed to get it to me within 2 days. The device itself is really nice, it's not big an ugly like you would expect a medical alert bracelet to be and my mom doesn't mind wearing it. Thank God we haven't had to use it, but the idea is that it's there for her safety and comfort.

I was worried about my heart's health. I have difficulty breathing some days and on others I just don't feel good. That's why I decided I needed to have some kind of alarm in case I ever passed out. They check on me daily and I think it's very beneficial, I love it. They also check on me whenever I press the button and the service is great. Right now I'm trying to keep up with my payment, which is 41 dollars a month or so. It's a great plan and very affordable for me considering I'm on a fixed income. I'm trying to convince my fiance to get one too since he has asthma. He's very stubborn and doesn't really like going to the doctor to taking medicine, so I'm trying to persuade him to get it.

I happened to discover it through Amazon. After seeing it there I called them and the nice lady on the phone explained everything to me. She was very convincing and I decided to go ahead and try it out. I purchased the system in August, and so far it has been very good. Since I have a very poor eyesight I don't drive anymore, I do go out for walks though. That's the primary occasion when I use the device, though I've also taken it with me when I go away for events with friends. There is a learning curve to the system. It took me awhile to get accustomed to it and make sure I had it with me when I went out. I've called a couple of times when I was trying to figure out a little more about the service. I always had good and well-informed responses. It has been quite satisfactory. I've had no problems with them and it seems to be a quality product, so I'm sticking with it.

I had knee surgery very recently and I decided it was time to get a service like Medical Guardian. I think their devices and options are all excellent. When I called to order, customer support was superb. The lady on the phone was very professional and answered my questions. They said it would be shipped in 4-5 days and it was. After that, it was easy to install and activate. My only complain, and this might be a little silly, is that the blue and red lights of the base unit are way too bright. They illuminate a room in the dark, I don't know why they need to be so bright. In fact I hide it behind a couple of books to make the lights dimmer.

It was very nice speaking with them. They were very understanding, they explained everything to me and it was fine. They were very good to me. I'm not as steady as I used to be and there are times when I wouldn't be able to call my family that I live with, so I thought this would make me a little more independent. I wear it all the time, so I feel it's made me feel very comfortable and more confident than when I didn't have anything. I've been very lucky. I haven't had to use it, except for when I hit it by accident and it called them, which was embarrassing, but we got it all straightened out.

As a retired person with multiple disabilities, I'm not around very much, but I like to be mobile, and for the most part, the system works very well for me. I think that it is well designed, because it has the portable speaker, and that makes more sense than other systems I've researched. Th other systems that I've tried were senseless, and you had to take it off in the middle of the night. This device allows you to wear it in the shower! Plus, it's reasonably priced. Also, the representative I spoke to helped me choose the system that would suit me best, and even helped me save some money. On top of that, the guy that activated the system was extremely helpful. He gave me some tips on how to use the device, stayed with me on the phone while I tested the system, and made sure it was working right.

I have the wristband and I just feel secured in having it. If anything did happen, I would be able to push the button and somebody would call and I'd be able to get assistance within a short period of time. If I do go out of the house, I take the monitor; I put it in a case and I take it with me, and I know that anywhere I go, any distance, I would be able to get help also. I haven't had to use it yet, thank heavens. I live by myself, and my husband died a year ago. I just felt it would be good for me to have in the house in case I have any problems. I'd be able to push the button and have assistance. The representatives of the company are very helpful. When I first got it, they explained to me how to use it, and I'm able to test it at any time that I want to, whether it's once a month or anytime that I feel necessary. I can test it without any problem. I just think that it's a very good asset for anybody who lives by themselves, or anybody who has an illness and wants to feel secure, whether they live in their house by themselves, or if they travel.

So far, we haven't had to use Medical Guardian. We got it for my mom because she lives alone and she uses a walker to get around. Before we got it, she did fall and didn't have any way to get help. We got it as soon as that happened, so that if she had any more incidents, and I wasn't around to help, she would be able to use it. I wanted to be able to have something anytime she's walking around or in the shower so she has some kind of safety device to help her in case she falls or can't get up. Medical Guardian's representatives were really courteous, and they explained the whole system. We purchased the necklace and the bracelet together. We got the whole system within a week of ordering, and got it set up immediately and got it connected. We don't have any problem; it's really simple to set up. You just give the representative your numbers for your emergency contacts, and when you receive it, you plug it in and call them and tell them that you activated it. There was nothing to it, it was super simple!

We're looking for something new 'cause the one that we're using was not working out well and I went online and it said on the web something like the 5 best in the country and Medical Guardian came out number 1 so the cost was more than the other one was but the other one when I press the button I will get a Verizon message instead of getting up something to help me out I will get a Verizon message saying press this number for that press that number for this and that's ridiculous...it's a lot cheaper than medical guardian but if cheap doesn't help as it , if you gonna die because of it you know...I need it 'cause my other service did not work well, they just said when I press the button on the other service I will get a Verizon message and we'll not get a person and how does it help you on an emergency so I knew I have to get something new

I was married for 70 years, my husband died a year and a half ago and I live alone, I live in out in the country, I do have neighbors but they're too far to call and I have a daughter and I can reach her by phone but if I'm not be able to do that then I should have someone who could find me if I needed help so I thought I should have this, particularly I'm working out in my yard or something I said no one would even know where to find me if I would fall and couldn't get up and couldn't tell anybody where I was. The guardian alert...I went on and they were number 1 in all the once that I looked at online and so I call them and asked for brochure and then I talked to them and I like it. I had had a Verizon, the one that telephone company had, they had an alert system but they gave it up so I had to find another one. I particularly like this one because it's better, I can take it with me away from the house, I didn't want one that I only can use at home because I go out in my car yet but I am alone and I wanna be sure that someone knows where I am and this one has a GPS with it, if I'm in my car and I won't be able to tell where I am, it will find me and that was a good thing to know. Let's say they're very helpful and they thought me a lot of things and they sent me a brochure and things that I could look at and they were very straight forward and I'm glad that I took a test, I like it. It was very easy to set it up...they called and tell me what to do, very simple, very quick, very easy to do so I would suggest them, anybody would like it, it's very good, very good

Well my daughters decided I needed it, I volunteered on the dog rescue and I'm down there at all hours of the day and night and sometimes with big animals that have been off, street dogs and not necessarily a real safe situation and our neighborhood is not very safe and I fell three times in previous year, tripping over dog whatever and the last time, as a matter of fact it's funny that you're calling today because I was just at the doctor again. This last time I have back surgery, second back surgery tomorrow and for that injury and I'm there a lot alone at night in the dark and they just work comfortable with that and asked me to do it and by that point I thought that was probably a pretty good idea

I got an alarm and researched different companies and that was one of them and the benefits of them same that way the others. My parents are elderly and we have speeders but they're not there at night time and daddy has fallen several times and just spend the night on the floor and he can't get to the phone, my mother has Alzheimer's and she doesn't understand go get the phone so we thought if we had the necklace on he could punch the button then get in touch with someone and will call us and send help if they needed to. I was very pleased, she contacted me and tell me about a weekend fish all they had..wonderful head and purchased it and she called me a time w/c is you know just more like a friend than a salesperson.

Well I'm going to be 86 in March and my son was with me but he's not always with me and I do get through it to go and I thought what if I ever fell, now I have an iPad phone but if I fell and I was in pain or confuse, that's probably the last thing I'll be able to do on the iPad was to dial for help, so this way I got it around my neck and if I do fall or something happens I could just push the button. I got the whole kit, I got the bracelet, the necklace, the lock, the inside on a table, the ahh you know.. I don't know what they call it but there's a red and a blue button and it tells the date and the time and I guess if I had to use it I have to push the button.

I first saw a TV ad and decided to call the number they had for Medical Guardian. I purchased it for myself because I have been sick for 6 months and have not been able to get better. The diagnosis was not good and I was constantly going to the doctor. I just needed something near me just in case I needed somebody to help me if I needed help right away. I feel happy with it and feel very safe while I am driving or by myself. I feel like there is somebody always there to help me if I need it right away. The sales team was very nice. I have recommended Medical Guardian several times to other people. Medical Guardian is so easy to use. I just followed the instructions and had it set up in a matter of minutes.

I wear mine all the time. I wear my little thing around my neck and I keep everything in order. I check it out all the time to make sure because I do live by myself and if I fall or something this is what I have to rely on. I haven't had the opportunity to actually use it which I'm fortunate there that I'm a little careful when I walk I make sure where I'm walking, watch where I'm going. Also, at my home I have the ADT channelled to the house but I do feel safer having this thing that I can wear around my neck or my wrist because if someone broke in this would give me time to call the police. Because the police know I got it and if I punch that thing they going to come. And if it's somebody breaking in it'll take a little bit longer with ADT. ADT works fine and comes on. It's good I'm not saying it's not. Anyway, it's very comforting to know that it's fast as it is, because if I press it right now it would come right on. That's how fast they are and I know because when I get ready to leave I do call them but I usually unplug it first and they immediately know, no electricity and all that kinda stuff immediately so I haven't found anything wrong with it yet.

I have a medical condition, and I live alone so I wanted to make sure that I have a way to get help if any sort of problem occurred. I initially contacted several other companies, but the other ones were more expensive. I decided to go with Medical Guardian and purchased the wristband and necklace. Both of these have been very easy to operate and figure out. The sales team was very professional and explained everything to me to help me feel comfortable. Overall, the company is very terrific, especially when you look at the price compared with other competitors. The service is phenomenal and the equipment is great.

It was tested as before I had it in service because I went to a medical appointment and I forgot to tell the person that was calling me in the morning. And so the alarm went that I was like she couldn't find me, and so when the people were notified who are on my list, they did get into the house and discovered I wasn't home and called different places. And by that time, I had called the person that needed to know that I was going to the doctor. So it was my fault, but the system works.

They've been there when I needed them. And even when I didn't, they were there. I fell and I pressed the button, and they were there. They got the emergency squad to me. They have provided a lock box on my door. They told them the code. Also, they could get in the house and knew that I was upstairs, not downstairs, so they knew where to look for me. They also called all three of my sons who immediately responded. So it was a very good experience.

Love the peace of mind that it gives! Especially love the fact that it can be worn in the shower. Only issues: it needs to be charged more often than advertised, and the necklace came apart and needed a little Gorilla Glue. We've recommended it to numerous people.

I haven't had to use it, but I've tested it and they come right on. They give me what I need when I need it. I've fallen a couple of times, and I was able to get up myself. But they're there when I need them. I would recommend it because it takes care of what I need!

I would rate them all good because I've never had any problems since I got it. I just tested it when I got it and I haven't had to use it again. I charge it when it needs to be charging and it'll tell me it's charging, so I know it's working.

We haven't actually had a crisis situation, but just that one time let us know that if it gets set off they can communicate with them and get them the help they need. Actually, it's for my in-law and he accidentally I think set it off one time, but they were able to talk to him and make sure they were good. The only thing I would say is the charge on it seems to run out fairly quickly, if I forget one morning to charge it, it's dead by evening.

My dad's older obviously that's why he has it. They're very patient. The time that we tested it was successful and the time we had to use it was also very successful. The people were very prompt. They were very thorough, and they were very pleasant. The whole experience, while terrifying, was actually very, very well handled and I would highly recommend the Medical Guardian again to anybody. They're very kind. They take the time that he needs to be able to explain what's going on. They listen well, they just they do a great job.

When we test, they're right there. They explain everything. I have had to call them twice just to make sure I was doing everything correctly and it's just been a really good experience. My mom has fallen twice and they have alerted us right away, stayed on the line with her until I could get there and tell them she was okay. They asked if we needed assistance. They're very courteous and very prompt and it's just a wonderful service.

It hasn't failed me. The flashing lights do bother me and I would prefer to have a wristband instead of a lanyard but the performance is good. Whenever I have contacted them, I've been satisfied. There was one time when I was at the airport and I had left my purse at home and I had absolutely no I.D. So I contacted Medical Guardian to ask if they could identify me to the TSA people. That didn't work out because of the TSA people, but I did get a response.

You guys are right on top of it. I've had a fireman and a policeman come and knock on my bedroom door. My transponder was on the floor. I had it in my pocket. They tracked me down and got in. The transponder is doing the job. It's ugly, it weighs down my neck when I wear it, and it makes my necklace have to go to the jeweler to get it untangled. So it does what it's supposed to do, but it's heavy.

I've only had to use it twice. I like the fact that if I need it, I can use it immediately and I can talk to the people in the tower and I don't have to wait. The little thing that holds the cord has broken off and it's made out of a very cheap material. I have to use my the one that came from my belt. I haven't called anybody to see if they replace it or not.

I have it there all the time and I don't have to worry about letting someone know if I do fall. And that gives me security on a daily basis. And my children are happy because they worry. My husband passed away in November, so I live alone now. And they're the ones that got it for me. They feel more comfortable knowing that I have something available. A few weeks ago when I fell in my living room, it was nice to be able to just push that button and know that someone was coming to help me.

My granddaughter set up everything for me. I just love it. I don't see much people, I just stay home and go to my doctor's appointments and I feel safe here at home with it. If I fall or something happens in here, all I have to do is press that button on my wrist that I wear and they answer right away to see if I'm all right and if I fell. They call the ambulance right away and the ambulance has the keys to open and come inside.

When I first was interested in it, the lady that I spoke to was very helpful and even though I know that they wanted to sell the device, she wasn't pushy. It would be nice if the fall detection wasn't an add on - if it was altogether. And it would be nice if the falling was on the watch. If they do, I would buy that - I would get that for my mother-in-law down the line. It's just easier to wear for people, I would assume.

We have no complaints. I've had to call them one time before because the unit was kind of doing a malfunction one day, so I called and they walked me through what I needed to do. We had a bad electrical storm and we had to reset that, and they made it simple. There's been several times that we've just tested the device and they've always responded to us.

It works. Whenever I've talked to anybody, it's been fine. My phone broke and didn't recover and so I was unable to call or talk to anybody. And then I thought of my Guardian and I called on that and that worked. So it was great because I'd have gone a long time without having contact with anybody. But I'd like to ask some questions. I have a list of people that Guardian is to call and some of them didn't get the call because they don't answer unless that number is listed in their thing and I need to know that number.

A friend of mine recommended it. He's happy with it and so far I am too. I haven't had to utilize it but it seems to work. I think I tested it when I first received it. The device was supposed to run on battery for 5 or so days. Then I read deeper and it said to charge it every night. So, so far I haven't had a problem, although I wasn't aware I was going to have to charge it as frequently as I do.

I would recommend it. I feel like it's the best value for that type of device out there. They've contacted us immediately when there's been an issue and if they weren't able to reach the first person, they followed up immediately with the second person on the call list, so it's been quite good. It's just giving us a peace of mind when it comes to somebody looking over my mother when we're not there with her.

I've tested it several times and they do that fine. The other day I was changing my shirt and all of a sudden my device fell to the floor - bang. And I said, oh Lord, and I picked it up right quick and it says this was a fall and I said it was wrong and the blue light went out. So they cut it off real quick and the parts that hold the neck piece came loose. She explained something and then put it back right back together.

I am very pleased with Medical Guardian. The folks at the control centre were very quick to respond when I had the one and only false alarm. I wear the neck alarm during the day and the wrist alarm at night. The false alarm likely occurred when one of my Maine coon cats (they are very big) stepped on the alarm. So now I try to keep that wrist with the alarm “under the covers”. Monica Yendall

The people were very friendly and helpful. Everybody was polite. We got it for my mom and I think she wore it twice before she passed away. So I really don't know that I have a lot I could share, other than setting it up and canceling it. The only thing I wish could happen, is for the devices to be recycled and repurposed. The person we talked to said to just throw it away, which as an environmentalist, I wish there was a way to do that. That's nobody's fault, but just my feedback.

It's not noticeable. I don't even realize I have it, so it's not intrusive into my life. But it gives me some comfort knowing that I have someone with me even though there's nobody there. However, the rope that holds it around my neck broke, and it actually broke where it's attached to the medical alert so I couldn't wear it if I had to keep it in my pocket. But they sent me a new one. It was the wrong one, but finally just today I got the correct one. So its now being charged. There were only two times where I either dropped it or it was dropped in a way that had nothing to do with my health situation. But they responded very quickly and in a very nice way.

Every time you have a question or anything, someone's there with the right answer. It's just so convenient. When I tested it, the call went through very easily. I accidentally alerted it one time and by the time I got home I had the fire department, police department, state police, and an EMT unit at my door. I'm trying to get my sister and my brother both to order the units.

It's heavy, but I like it. It serves the purpose and but I think I would have preferred a bracelet that something lighter, maybe with a chain or something. What was around my neck looks like a grey cord. One time I tested it, I didn't mean to, but I was putting groceries in the car and I guess it hit something and it went off. I wasn't accustomed to someone talking to me so it was a surprise but it was good. I'm satisfied with it.

I'm pleased with it. The device kept coming undone and so I contacted the customer service and they sent me a new lanyard and it works perfectly now. The only complaint that I have is I don't like the lock box thing for them to get into the house. It went off accidentally when I leaned against to the counter and I had immediate communication with them.

It was extremely easy to sign up. It only took a few minutes over the phone, and I didn't have to select a bunch of different options or wait on hold to speak to an agent. Leon answered personally and walked me through the whole process and answered all of my questions. It is a simple system, easy to set up, and came very quickly. I recommend it to family.

The device belongs to my mother-in-law and I can speak to how much she's enjoying it. I think it's easy for her to use and she feels comfortable that help would be there because it's around her neck and it's much easier than some other things that she's had in her past. She tests it monthly and and it's been easy for her to understand and the response is excellent.

The first time I used it was a funny story. I was putting a cover on top of a bowl in my kitchen, and all of a sudden I heard a voice. I came into my living room and it turned out I had banged the cover hard enough where it had jarred the medical device, so they were wondering if I needed help, if I had an emergency. It just assured me that somebody will be there if I need them.

It's just been an easy setup, easy transition. There's been no hassle in getting things started like I've had with previous companies. First time I tested it, Medical Guardian immediately picked up and answered, and then one day my mother had taken it off and laid it down and I guess it registered as a fall. They immediately called her and then called me, so they were very quick to respond.

I have used both the necklace and the watch. The necklace was forever getting in my way. As I am less than 5 feet tall and it banged against counters. Also, bending forward to look in my purse, the necklace device dangled in front of me, and blocked my view. I could not wear it to bed as the lanyard was a choking hazard. There is a clip device but it was made with a man's use in mind. I much prefer the watch. But I have found the watch will not count my steps if I am holding onto my walker. I like being able to make a yearly payment, with no monthly hassle.
