This company is out to rip you off! I ordered a gps necklace and had to return it. It was too heavy for my neck. They charged my AE immediately but I didn’t receive the unit for 2 weeks! I returned the unit the next day. They charged me for a month of use 124.00. Give me a break! Terrible customer service! Taking advantage of older people. A total scam! Please do not use them.

If I could give them less than 1 star I could. The first device they sent would not hold a charge, so it was replaced at no cost. The second device they sent would only hold a charge for a couple of hours and quit - dead as a door nail. I have absolutely no confidence in their piece of junk, and will demand my money back. I will post a review on their willingness to refund my money. BTW if Medical Guardian is monitoring these reviews, I will go to court if I have to.

My father passed in November 2019. I returned the equipment with the RMA and received an email confirming return. I continue to receive past due and collection notices. I have spoken to this company a minimum of 10 times via phone and/or email. They have advised that my return was place on somebody else's account. They keep saying it has been resolved. Again this weekend....another collection notice. Watch your back. This company is so unorganized, it's pathetic.

This company bombards you with phone calls and emails once you ask for info. I even told them NOT to call my work # which they still proceeded to do 3 times! They don’t listen or care if you say I’m not ready yet and that you will contact them when you are. Tracy hung up on me after getting upset that she called my work again! Bad customer service. It’s all about the sale with them and not the customers wishes. Beware

We have used the system over 5 years. When our Mother went to an assisted living home recently we cancelled our subscription and we returned the product in excellent condition in the original box/ packing and had to pay the return fee. We were promised over a month refund for the portion paid that was not used. Today when I called to report that I hadn't received my $46 refund I was told it went toward a $50 restocking fee. WHAT???

Shipped their system back to them and haven't gotten a penny back into my account yet. they took over $100 after he passed and gave no refund so far..... it has been well over 2 weeks. They can grab the money in an instant to bounce your account...

The device itself works ok. However they sent a new neck pendant which we TOLD them we didn’t want & billed us extra each month for it. I sent it back & they confirmed receipt. However for over a month now I’ve been trying to get my overcharge refunded. I’ve spoken to six different customer service people & each time they assure me my money will be refunded “very soon”. How long does it take to credit an account! (15 minutes or less) I plan to report this to the Better Business Bureau

Although I was impressed with the foprmalities of service, I had a very bad experience once I tested them Falling last week, I was met shortly thereafter by three men in blue uniforms who only wanted to take me to an emergency room. Fortunately, my apartment's superintendent, who let them in, was there and pointed out that I had cuts, but none needed stitches and that my doctore was on his way. Disgruntled they left. I thought they performed like bouncers in some b ar, not as "medicsal guardians".

I do not like their tactics. Getting calls from a hired call center in Warner Robins, Georgia. This means additional cost added to product. I do not like the fact that I can not purchase online without having to speak to a rep. Modern customers like to study the info and buy direct without speaking with a sales professional. Do not use this company! I have been doubled billed several times and company promised to resolve, never did. Promised to call me back within 24 hours, never did. I am getting efficient at entering disputes with my credit card company. Have GPS type service which doesn’t work well. In home service appears ok. I paid for a year service in advance, now 6 months later I have a charge on my credit card currently. Never give this company your credit card number.

Now 3 weeks later no refund, We were told mailed to wrong address even though still same company and we returned to return address on box and even though same company they need to send me a cancellation form to process the claim. Not a happy camper.

Please everyone read this I was not satisfied with the service I had the service for my parents which my mom died this yr so, plz read the small print, I called and told this company to disconnect my service and my parents service, well becareful because if you disconnect your service turn in your equipment the same day, cause they will continue charging you, SO MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT,I think they need to explain this to the customers much better

When I called your Rep, I tried to tell him I still may purchase from Medical Guardian, but he freaked out & started yelling at me. Extremely disrespectful & definitely unprofessional. I’ll never call your company again w/ that kind of service. I had to finally hang up on him.

The only time I tried to use the Medical Guardian was during what I thought was a heart attack. The dispatcher did notify my family members but did not stay on the line with me. After several minutes, the clerk in the store called 911, an ambulance arrived in minutes and I was transported to the hospital. I never received any follow up call from Medical Guardian.

When I initially spoke with your staff, I gathered the information needed. My mother didn't think she needed any devices for medical alert. Fine, she's only 93, of course she doesn't think she needs one. So now your sales department is calling me every day and a week later I decided to return the call. I dialed the number from caller ID and it immediately hung up. The call was blocked from inbound calls. Scam? Unfortunately, I don't trust that your company is real.

He requested a quote, and apparently y'all haven't called him back yet, although you've continued to call me for over 2 weeks, and now you've called me a total of 15 times. I did shoot y'all a text you awhile back saying that I didn't intend to use medical guardian anymore, but apparently you didn't get it.

they give a key lock box to be placed in a designated location , which they are suppose to share with EMS along with the combination. on two occasions they almost had to break down the door because this information was never given to EMS. not satisfied , when I called to ask why they said they would do an inquiry, 5 days later they still have not answer !!!

Salesman (I think he said his name is More) stated he sent information via email. Second salesman called to askif I was still interested. I said I was still waiting to get information. Moe told me a brief overview of packages, but I wanted to see written info to make a decision. The second salesman said written info has the same information, did not offer to send a brochure, and couldn't get off the phone fast enough.

We were very disappointed in the response time, over a minute, and the fact that mom could not hear the agent, nor the agent hear her, from inside her bedroom, only 25 feet away. The agent said, "Well, she has to be in the same room." What is the point, then? ? I used to install and maintain a similar unit for another service, and was useful in the entire house. This was many years ago, Sony figured the service would be much better, not much worse. For these reasons, we have shipped the unit back, and cancelled the service.

I don't know what happened, but I haven't even got equipment yet and I already don't trust you.

Mo payments were set up for paper invoice to my mothers home, instead medical took the payment from my credit card which was NOT authorized.Then I received e-mails for the next payment- no bill was sent to my mother.She has never received the wrist band that I requested twice, she hates the necklace. Billing and customer service is horrible because of this she won't use it.Sept. 22- I called again I was told I could Cancell anytime I wanted If this isn't fixed I will.It's not worth it.

I ask the sales person if the area my mother lives in had cell service for the mobile unit. He responded that she had great service in her area. When the unit came in I attempted to set it up and found out that she had no service at all. When I called to talk to customer service she ask if I had tried moving around the house to see if we could get service. After I spoke to a supervisor they sent me a return label. I have not seen where they have gave my money back yet so I will be calling them soon

Lock box for key to hang on door knob. Just hope the 911 folks can get it open easier than I did. Hope they are more familiar with the device.

Very easy to set up, small button to wear in home with larger device to carry when out of home. Easy and uncomplicated to use.
