I slipped in the shower and couldn't get out and there is no one else at home so I decided..I live alone mostly so I thought it would be a good idea if I had one. I have a problem it doesn't charge and I called the company and they'd supposed to call me back in another couple of hours, I'm having a problem. Other than that it's good!

I love the convenience of it, but I have accidently pressed the button a few times by bumping it on the table or counter. I also wish the alert was a bit louder. But overall, I am satisfied. I have the necklace thing like if I'm upstairs and fall in the bathroom. I'm severely crippled with arthritis, an amputee, and in a wheelchair and I'm alone a lot of the time. It stays on and works all the time, so I guess it's fine. Help is excellent and very nice.

Just have the basic service. So far very satisfied, only thing I'm kinda not about about is one time I pushed the button and they said I called and I did not. I'm worried that they have no access to the house and my door could have been broken in. Equipment is easy to use just wish I could talk to EMTs before they show up.

I got the service for my mother-in-law, after researching various options. From my first call to get more information, the company has provided great support and no pressure. Since the pendant arrived, they have given my mother-in-law all of the help she has needed to get the system running and maintained, including relevant tips about keeping her pendant accessible, and they clarified some concerns she had about security. Also important, the company clearly understands that some people are hesitant to actually use products like these, because they don’t want to impose or feel dependent on others (or both). Among other things, they have responded positively to every use of the button, whether it was a test or accidental. Of course, people get to make their own decisions. This all has still not been enough for her to press the button when she hurt herself, or even use the service when they called because of a fall. Her the reasons were about her instincts, though, not the company’s service. She does like knowing they are available.

On 10-27-22 somehow Medical Guardian contacted me and when I did not respond they contacted my son who met the EMT at my apartment. I was unconscious and was taken to a nearby hospital. Actually ended up saving my life as I had sepsis and had to be life flighted to a trauma hospital in Cleveland where I was put on a ventilator. Was hospitalized 4-1/2 weeks, released and had home health care. My son and/or daughter in law had to take off work MANY TIMES to take me for outpatient surgery, office visits and tests in Cleveland, OH - about 45 minute drive. I now have a private caregiver 5 days each week who comes at 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. I am improving more and more each week.

I am a repeat customer. My wifwe and I are/were closer to eghty than seventy. She had chronic health issues which confined her to the house much of the time, but her Mrdical Gardian device allowed her to get out to tend her garden or go shopping when she felt up to it. It also alow us both a degree of independence and security so that I could continue my life's work into retirement. After my wife passed and I began living alone, my daughter insisted that I had to develope a safty network. My Medical Gardian devise is a critical part of that network, providing around the clock access to call for first-responder help and to notigy my personal care circle that I need help. Because of the location tracking and blue tooth capabilities of the device, the Medical Guardian benifts are available wherever a cellur signal is available. Medical Gardian is impotant to my continimg my independent life.

Mr. Moises R. was fantastic! I hammered him with questions, and he remained patient and thorough with his answers, including my repeat questions. There wasn’t a moment during our exchanges (over the course of two weeks) where i felt that i was being pressured; instead i felt that he really had a concern for my mother and my family. Not only all of the above, but i so much enjoyed engaging with Moises on completely related topics (which also had a sway upon me as to my being comfortable with him and his guidance). Ok, so I ordered the cellular system for my Mother in law yesterday. I delt with Sean who was extreamly helpful and professional. I paid a year in advance to receive a small discount. He assured me that in the event of a change of heart all unused time would be fully refunded. Additionally, there would be no restocking fees or additional charges. I will follow up once we set things up. I'm hopeful the fall detection works well as my mother in law recently had a fall from a stroke and was not able to call for help, thus her life will depend on this system working properly in the event she falls and passes out. No second chances with a stroke.

When I first called Medical Guardian to learn about its services, I talked to an informed, courteous salesman, and he explained how to use the alert system. I chose the one I wanted, and it was delivered in 8 days. The activation process was simple, and I enjoyed hearing what a real call would be like. My device contains the fall-detection system, and a few days after starting the service I accidentally set off the fall detection. A voice came over the system saying that it had detected a fall and telling me how to cancel the call if I wanted to. I tried it, and it worked. I have been a customer for only a few days, but the system seems to be all that I hoped it would.

This was purchased for my 89 yr old mother. She doesn't hear well and can't hear the dispatcher often when they respond to her alert. A way to increase the speaker volume on the base unit would correct this. I am pleased to report that Medical Guardian's customer service and operations departments quickly and thoroughly addressed all of the issues that I brought to their attention. They even called my elderly mother and made sure that she is comfortable with the volume level on her base unit. They also noted in her response info that their dispatchers need to speak slowly and clearly so that she can hear and understand their questions. This is how all companies should handle customer concerns. Nice job!! We gladly now give them five stars!

P.L. thank you for the review. With regards to your mother's device, rest assured that even if she can't hear the dispatcher on the other line, she will get the help she needs in an emergency. If she pushes her button and can't hear dispatch, or they can't hear her, they will assume an emergency is occurring and respond accordingly. My name is Sophia the sunshinelady Just got this system 2days ago. I had an emergency and I had to go to the hospital. I left the hospital in a cab the driver took me to a lonely place of abandoned buildings and ask me to get out. I was so afraid I pressed the button and someone came on the line stayed with me until the guy took me home. They even called for help for me and my emergency contact to tell them what was going on with me and made sure I got home SAFELY thank God for this system. I could have been a statistic tonight. We just received the medical alert so my experience is limited to purchase & set up. Both were very simple & easy to navigate . Valerie B was the sales rep & made it easy to figure out & compare medical guardian to other medical alert systems. No pressure from Valerie was placed on me to buy. In fact, I called back 3 times to ask questions, Set up and activation was as simple as a phone call and confirming info the company had at their fingertips from my order. I have filled out the service agreement & mailed. Overall this purchase, delivery, & set up was a customer Service example of the way business should be conducted.

I would like to say Medical Guardian has been a blessing of kindness and patience. I'm 78 and tried their products I wasn't able to find the perfect one for me. I just wanted a bracelet that you pushed one button and nothing else to carry with you. The new watch they have is quite nice to many extras for me I still use the flip phone. I received my shipments fast and my returns were sent back with a return label with a tracking code. You honestly will be happy dealing with Medical Guardian. I was able to get the name of the best cheese steak restaurant in Phila. were they are located. Just to show they really care about their customers and not there to high pressure you . I've had them for about 3 years. You're suppose to test it every month by pressing the button & saying this is a test. Just recently I wore my necklace in the shower & decided to "test" to make sure it still worked. They came online & asked if I needed help, I said no it was a test. Went into the bathroom & all of a sudden a second person asked if I needed help. Could not yell loud enough, within 5 minutes there was a fireman in my house, asking if I needed help. Told him what had happened, so he said should he cancel the cop, firetruck & ambulance. I said "YES" so he did. However I found out from neighbors that the cop drove by, the fire truck went by AND the ambulance went by. Did not get charged & found IT DOES WORK!! We go to a campsite 120 miles away, out in the boonies & it works there. We also go to Florida every year & they pick me up there. I couldn't be more pleased with Medial Guardian.

Greetings :) MMMM what can I say. I/we did receive your most welcome package last week. I do believe it was Friday. We scanned through all the information but did NOT try it out. Hopefully we will be doing that before the weekend is over. We tried the secret key code, decided exactly where we will do the 'charging', decided the three people that will be listed on those to contact should needs be, tried on the monitor, etc. etc. etc. Also came up with a question or two. Can the monitor be used by my husband as well? Any way we could also get a bracelet? We're thinking more questions may pop up as we use the device. Thank you by the way for making us feel comfortable as we begin using what could be a life saving, certainly life changing modern piece of equipment. Have a great day.

I requested information about this service (via their website) for my 85 year-old mother but was unaware that my mother had already checked them out on her own and decided to sign up for their service. When their sales people called me again I wasn't available to answer their call so I called them back and before I could explain why I was calling, their rep said she saw that my mother had signed up with them and that she would remove my name and phone number from their telemarketing list. Apparently this company has the tech to cross reference potential customers with actual customers using caller ID and address information (I live with my mother so we have the same address). My mother previously had the same type of service with another company but canceled them when she recently tried calling to test their system and they didn't answer her call (they did send her a text message but if this had been a real emergency, a text message just doesn't cut it). Anyway, Medical Guardian appears to be on the ball when it comes to serving their customers and they are highly rated, which is why my mother chose them.

Due to the recent adverse weather on the East Coast, Midwest and South Central US my Pendant order was (understandably) delayed in arriving due to the weather conditions. I contacted Customer Service to inquire about the status of the delivery and spoke with a Customer Service Representative name Harry concerning it. Harry was very understanding of my concern(s) and immediately contacted the delivery carrier for an update. In addition to that, Harry informed his Supervisor of the delay and between the two of them they arranged with the carrier to expedite the delivery and, as a precaution, sent me a second device in the event of further delays. Upon gather all the information from the carrier, Harry called me back (within 10 minutes) and described, in detailed, the status of the order and informed me that I would be receiving my Pendant within the next two days. In addition to returning my call that evening, Harry followed up with another call to me the next day providing me with more information. The reason for the delay in receiving my order was neither the fault of Medical Guardian, or the carrier. I just happened to place my order at the time Mother Nature unleashed a massive weather system that affected the entire East Coast, the Midwest and the South Central states. I can honestly say that I cannot remember, ever, receiving the type of Customer Service / Support that I received from Medical Guardian and Harry. Not only was Harry extremely professional and caring, he treated me as though I was family and went the extra mile to help me. Kudos to Harry and his Supervisor for excellence in Customer Care.

I got this device for my mom in December. It was easy to order with great customer service. The device arrived in time when i was told it would. We only used it one time but we were contacted and it worked seamlessly. Unfortunately my mom passed away before we even had the device for one month. I was mad because i had to make the call, just mad because my mom was gone and I had to deal with this. The guy who took my call actually caught me off guard when i told him the reason for canceling. He was so sympathetic. I really felt like he actually cared and was sad for me, even though he doesn’t know me or my mom. Believe me, i have not always gotten that reaction dealing with other business of hers. Whats more is I got a full refund because I had paid for 3 months and had it less than 30 days. I sent the device back, fully assuming I would have to make a follow up call to get my refund. However I see on my credit card statement this morning that I have already been refunded. First rate company. A+ on quality, service and compassion. Thank you so much I will highly recommend to anyone who will listen!

Spoke to Agent K and i liked his knowledge of Medical Guardian. I went with the mobile Guardian days later after returning the other unit.I decided this past march on the Premium Guardian because i would often leave the mobile unit behind. Supervisor Mrs J. W overnighted A New premium Guardian to me when two other units failed to charge in my Area.She Really helped thru the activation process to make sure I Was pleased. The upgrade was worth it. I Didn't want the additional fee but glad i did. She was First Class all the way. Kudos 2 Medical Guardian

I ordered this alert for my son, who was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The only problem he had was he would just move or reach for something and the alarm would go off. He soon became agitated with it, so I figured the only thing on this unit that could be at fault was the "fall detection". I called the company, went over the situation with them, they agreed. We cancelled the "fall detection" alert. For those who are ordering this unit, please just be aware the fall detection is really for those people who really are going to be falling quite a bit. For him, I ordered it because if he went into a diabetic seizure or coma and would fall, it would go off and alert someone. But it's really not for that. The fall detection is MORE for an unsteady person (someone who's had a stroke, or heart attack, etc.) who would be more apt to fall at any given time during a day, NOT for someone who is just going through their daily routine of chores or work. I hope anyone reading this can see the difference that it makes. If the unit alert goes off without reason, it's the fall detection dong it.

I normally don't write reviews but I felt compelled to share a positive experience I had with this company. My family is on fixed income and money is tight. We had an issue where there was an emergency and we got a prompt response , as I was also contacted and informed that the authorities were dispatched. She is ok but had to go to rehab for 3 weeks before going back home and the company even assisted me with finances by suspending the account during that period. My experience with this company has been exceptional and has reassured me that my mother is safe, as she lives alone. I would recommend this company to any loved one .

I've known for some time that I needed a health monitor, but trying to pick the best system for me was driving me crazy. I kept going to the Internet, reviewing sites, checking rating services like Consumer Reports etc. but there were so many things to consider! Finally I made a list of the items that were most important to me. It quickly became apparent that Medical Guardian could satisfy all my needs, and a review of customer comments showed a high degree of satisfaction among users. The representative I spoke to made the process of enrolling easy and reassuring--he wasn't at all high-pressure, and he was able to give complete, satisfactory answers to my remaining questions. I was able to subscribe with complete confidence. I feel much safer going about my daily activities now. Thank you.

My older sister insisted that I should get some kind of equipment so I started searching through advertisements and then came across Medical Guardian and I ended up making and agreement to stay with them. So far I'd say 100 percent satisfied, I had a chance, I needed one time to use the service and got the ambulance and get me to the hospital if I didn't have Medical Guardian I probably wouldn't be alive today. The representatives have been very helpful to me, gave me plenty of time, answered all of my question, get me through the, making sure that I was testing the thing around my neck and my watch. live alone, this is the reason I have this and my blood sugar for diabetes was 600, which is well above where it should be, so I quickly ran and got the little hand-speaker thing and they contacted me with the local hospital and they talked to me and I gave them what was my problem and before I get to explaining them and they had me in the ambulance, took me to the hospital and ended up in Intensive Care, if it wasn't for Medical Guardian working I probably wouldn't be here.

I fell quite a bit, and my children thought I needed something so they bought this for me. I wear it on my neck. It's like a necklace. It has a little round thing at the bottom and I have another little battery with it. I decided to purchase it because I fell quite a bit and I am alone quite a bit. I live with my daughter but she travels for a living so she's gone monday through friday. I haven't had to use it, thank heavens, but it's still good to have it. I know the equipment is very good because when I first started putting this on I forgot it was there. Then I maybe push the thing against the sink or something and they called me right away. It was great.

I decided to go with Medical Guardian because I was looking online for a type of service and I saw Medical Guardian and the price is reasonable. I just got the home service basic one. In the future, when my financial situation hopefully improves I want to get the one where for a fall it automatically sends the message. I decided to get the system because a couple of times I was home alone but fortunately I did not lose consciousness. I was able to get help and get up but I decided I needed some type of service. Fortunately I haven't hand to use the Medical system so far, so I am very happy that I have not had to use it. Every time I speak with the company they have been very professional and they did not take a lot of my time. I do not like somebody to call you and it goes on and on, so I like this company very much. They get to the point and answer my questions. My only complaint is I wish they had a better band on the wrist thing. But, that of course would make it cost more so I understand. But like I said, I am really happy with it.

Loved the great phone customer service selecting which Medical Guardian device and plan would be best for us! Also the customer service setting everything up and getting started was AWESOME ~ I don't now remember the gal who helped up getting everything connected but she was SO patient and stayed right with us on the phone until everything was up working. Her customer service was the very best. She's a great asset on your team :-) Mom is very happy with her Medical Guardian we talked her in to getting but NOW she is so happy to have it. I think it gives her more confidence. She wears the necklace during the day and the bracelet at night.

After my husband died, my children were worried about me being alone. I have no health issues, but they still worried. I decided if I have the medic alert , that might help them stop worrying. It has helped. It works great and response is very quick. I got the one with GPS (because I like to travel) and fall alert. That way, no matter where I go, someone will know if I fall or anything else happens. I have accidentally set off the alarm several times (when eating, if I lean forward, it hits the TV tray and sets the alarm), and they always call me and check if I am ok. If I say yes, they cancel the alert, if they couldn't reach me, they call for help. I now put my alert necklace on the TV tray while eating and put it back on after I finish eating. It is everything I expected it to be and my family feels much better about me being alone.

My daughter has epilepsy and is having more and more seizures. I went on line and selected your Company. I call and ordered and the person that helped me was very knowledgeable about the product and knew exactly what would work for my Daughter. My Daughter was to the point of being scared to death if she was alone. She received it today and will have it up and going on Friday 5/12. Just the knowledge that even if she falls someone will be alerted to help her has changed the way she feels. She no longer is scared to be alone as she knows help will be there in a few minutes. So thank you for helping Her entire Family feel secure that help will be there if and when she needs it.

After gathering information from several other companies, your representative, Avant, was the deciding factor. He was not aggressive (which I hate) but merely guided me through your service and offers. The price was also a factor as I found that you offered a lower price if I paid annually and I received more for this charge. I received my equipment on time and was able to talk to someone who helped me go through the process of setting it up and where was the best place to leave it. When testing the equipment, it felt so good to get the quick response by your response team in such a friendly manner. Now I hope I never have to use it for a real emergency!

I am a Life Safety Technician which means that I deal with technology related to the Senior Living Community and I am also a 1st Responder. Where I work we have our own in-house emergency pendant which has been used thousands of times to alert us for falls with independent residents as well as to be used for help needed alerts over in our assisted living apartments. My own Mother who still lives on her own was in fear of falling as she had an episode which severely shattered her dominant hand's wrist. I am a cautious consumer so I was more than willing to read thousands of reviews of every emergency pendant available for the consumer market and chose Medical Guardian's best model. One caveat to note is that "all pendants" have their false alarms. And this can be expected with any one you purchase. So don't be upset, rather be grateful when your monitoring company calls to ask if you are alright or need assistance! This is a sign of a system that works and it has been no different with Medical Guardian. As a skilled professional in senior living communities, I would highly recommend Medical Guardian as a pro-consumer choice for those living independently on their own outside of a senior living facility. As also a Son and healthcare POA, I have piece of mind that my Mother is monitored 24-hrs a day in case of fall or other emergency in which she may need to call for help with the push of just one button!

When we were shopping for a device, it was your company (or your sister company) that warned us away from those whose response dispatchers speak Hindi as their native language. Never would have thought of that. We got a list of things to look out for. When we decided to buy your landline service, your salesman pointed out to us that our Verizon home phone service is still wireless. Don't buy the wrong machine to save three bucks. Thanks again for that. We're really strapped for cash right now, and you gave us 3 months to pay for the first three months of service. Thanks for that too. When we hooked up our machine, your customer service guy had all the answers, again in un-accented English. That was swell. We'll gladly endorse your program if we ever have the chance. I searched and evaluated several medical alert devices for my 83 year young Dad. Dad lives in a Veterans home in California and to continue his independent living, the Home and Hospice required him to wear a medical alert device. They said we needed to have a land line installed in his room for the device to work.... Well Dad is still able to get out and about so I was more concerned when he was out of his room than inside, so when I discovered Guardian Medical (#1 rated with Consumer Reports for 2015) had a mobile device (no land line required) and it included GPS tracking I was delighted! I shared my findings with the VA and Hospice and although they were pleased to know a mobile device existed they could not cover the cost because they did not have a contract with Guardian Medical!! The comfort knowing Dad would be able to maintain his independence with the Guardian mobile medical alert device was well worth our paying the low monthly fee for service; the equipment and shipping was totally FREE! We are excitedly awaiting the arrival of Dad's electronic leash that will allow him to keep his dignity and maintain his independence in and out of his home and provide us a level of comfort. His name was Michael; his direct line is 1-800-311-6778. He was very professional and let me tell him what I needed. Another company I called kept on talking for 17 minutes before I could say a word-I just let them talk, but could tell they were not the company for me...in fact after I placed my order I got a return phone call from them and she said all I would have to do a the paper work and everything would be complete. Really, they were trying to sell me everything but the kitchen sink and also charged an installation fee-----we don't have the equipment and haven't tried it but i'm sure it will be fine - if I have any questions I will contact client services the number Michael gave me to call.
