I got it in case I need it since I'm by myself a lot of the time. My wife works so the alert button is there so my son can come and help me. I have grown to trust them a lot. Whenever I call they get me the same manager and don't question me much. They are even willing to take the product back and give me a full reimbursement at any time if I ever want to discontinue the service. They always seem willing to answer any question I have. They're there to help me and always encourage me to test it at least once a month to make sure the device is working. I know that if something comes up later on, if I have an emergency or a crisis, I can give them a call with the button. I'm thankful that nothing has happened yet where I needed to use it, but I'm glad to have it if the need arises. Their rates are excellent and it has been worth the money that I spent on it. They've been very helpful.

I had just fallen over in my apartment and it took three and a half hours of me yelling to get my neighbors to help me. They picked up the spare key, opened the door, and helped me to my bed, but I learned my lesson then. I didn't want to go through that ever again, so I went ahead and got it. The pendant is working for me and I'm very happy with the service so far. I haven't had to use it for an emergency yet but I have called in to confirm with two different people that the device is activated and working properly. If I need to use it for some reason I can just call them from the system and they'll come and find me. I've already paid them for the next 3 months but I do hope I never have to use it. The support team has been very helpful in getting everything set up and activated. I don't have to worry anymore about passing out, falling, and hitting my head on the floor. I'm hoping I won't need to use their services, but when I feel really dizzy I can just use it to call an ambulance and get picked up. I don't have to figure out how to get help when I get a dizzy spell.

I researched them and Medical Guardian just had a lot more to offer than the other services. I had to use it once when I had really bad chest pains. I couldn't get up from my chair so I pushed the button. The lady that called me was really nice and had a very pleasant voice. I just explained to her what was happening and she called the emergency people. She also offered to stay on the line with me until they got there. The emergency personnel was there very quick and got there before she had even contacted the people in my emergency list. It's very simple to use, there's no viruses or computers or anything that you have to try and hook it up to. It's just a little tiny box.

I saw it had a range of 270 ft which sounded ok and they had one device that I could carry with me, so I went with it. I've had the thing installed just some 3 or 4 days ago so I'm just starting to use it. So far it has been good. I got the thing that goes around my neck and the little modem thing that I can carry in my pocket, which is great because I'm kind of blind. Both are easy to manage though I'm still getting used to using it. Still, just the other day I went out and it was good to know that if I needed help all I needed to do was press the button. It gives me a lot of mobility. Their customer service people were very good about walking us through the set up of the thing and explaining everything.

I wanted to have something that I could take into the shower with me. Since I couldn't do that with the other one, this seemed like a much better fit for me. I haven't had to use it yet, which is great, but I've tested it and I know it works. I wear it every day and at night. I just don't take it off because I like knowing that it's there and I know I could fall at any time. I'm really happy with the device because I know I can just push the button to get the paramedics here. The lock box is also there and I know that this way they won't have to break down my door to get to me. I know it's going to protect me and I'm really happy to have this as a connection with emergency services. It's a pleasure to talk with their customer service people. If I have any questions I can just call and they'll answer them. They give me the answers that I need and don't seem to be in a hurry to get you off the line. They'll take their time to explain things to me. It makes me happy to get that kind of service. It's a little pricey for someone like me who's on social security, but I think it's important enough to cut back on spending somewhere else so I can get the protection. It gives me a sense of peace to know that I'm protected and that my people can get here as soon as possible

Since my husband travels all the time and I had had an episode before I got it, I decided to get something like this. We did a bit of research and I liked the fact that I didn't have to sign a contract. I had been having some health issues so, if those issues changed, that meant that I could cancel and I wouldn't be forced to stay because of some long term contract. I also liked the ease of everything, it was all pretty straightforward. I haven't had to use it but I do carry it with me at all times. I have the one that has a GPS so even if I'm out shopping or anything and I have an emergency, I could dial for someone to help me right there. From the testing I've done and stuff I know that the device works and that someone will answer right away. It makes me feel a lot more safe, especially during this time of the year when I shop and there's a lot of car accidents. I haven't found any hidden anything. Everyone I've spoken to has been very helpful and courteous. My experiences have been positive.

I saw it on the internet and decided to get it since it looked reasonable and the price was good. So far it has been pretty good for us. My husband uses the watch all the time. He has had the thing for two months or so but we haven't had to use it yet. They have been very attentive to us, especially when we set up the system and everything. My husband is a little deaf so he couldn't understand everything he had to do to set up everything. It didn't take him long to get everything set up, which I thought was very good. He did it himself. It's a comfort to have that device so he can get immediate care from emergency services.

I live way out in the country and I needed something that could ensure the EMS could find me. Since it gave me freedom to get out of the house with the range it has and it was the best I could find, I went with them. I can go out and walk in the yard, be in the shop, in my barn, or in the tractor with it. They mailed me everything within a couple of days. Since it took me a bit to call them, they called me instead and we activated the device in a very short time. Normally I spend most of the morning out, so I have the little necklace with me and spend some time in the yard. I can just mow the grass or rake the leaves before I leave the house. When I do that I take the other unit and put it in my belt. It does what it needs to do. It will notify the EMS automatically and I know it'll do that because we tested the thing. The first time it rang about 5 times and then I got an answer. I told the folks there that it was just a test. They still asked me if I was ok to make sure it wasn't an emergency. I was just very pleased with the product and how it performed then. The cost is right as well. It's competitively priced and it checked off all the things that I wanted. It gives me the security that I need to go outside the house knowing that I can just push the button to get help.

I was widowed last year after 54 years of marriage. I had never lived alone before since I went from my childhood home, to college, and then married. Since I also had a history of very bad falls the idea of living alone was really intimidating. I was afraid I would fall over and not be able to get back up. I know that if I wear this device around my neck or on my wrist I'm no more than a few second away from getting help. That is huge for me in this process of learning how to live on my own. It gives me all kinds of confidence because I can go do work in the yard, do things around the house, and just move around without the fear of falling or being injured and not being able to get back up for hours. I have not had to use it yet, but I have tested it. Everybody that I've dealt with has been very supportive and knowledgeable. Their response time is less than 5 seconds, it's amazing. So far I've had no problems with them. Of course, it'd be nice if it was cheaper, but it's just a little over a dollar a day so it's pretty reasonable.

I wanted to get something that I could wear around my wrist, plus my son in law did a bunch of research and found this one that has GPS in it. On a typical day I wear it all day while I'm home. I can take out the bigger piece with me when I go away from home and if I push the button it'll know where I am. Last week I passed out but pushed the button. Apparently they tried to call me but I couldn't respond so they called my son who is just 3 doors away from me. He got here before the emergency people did. They also contacted my daughter. They were very prompt. It is worth the money, had I not had it when I fell I would still be on the floor.

The person that I spoke to shared with me that they get to see the owner of the company going out and about in the office where they work. That gave me the feeling that this was like a family business and that they were very much involved with everything which was enormously important to me. I have no particular medical needs at the moment, but I decided that since I'm nearly 84 it would be perfectly rational for me to get it for my children's sake, so that they're at ease. I decided the device should be with me all the time, so I wear it when I exercise, when I go into the shower, etc. I have the charging unit beside my bed so that I can always reach it. I had to send it back because they sent me the wrong unit in the first place. They apologized of course and sent me the one I wanted which was more expensive. They even went and charged me for the first month as if I had kept the cheaper unit because of that. They were extremely apologetic and truly friendly, I feel like they're my best neighbors. I can buzz them, which I have done as practice, and I can speak with somebody. I'm very happy about it since they're available and they can contact my daughter who lives very close by.

When I was checking around it was the only one that could handle GPS. With t hat I could go anywhere anytime and still be called. There was a different that was local but if you wanted to get the GPS it would cost a lot more, so I went with Medical Guardian. I've never used it, but I wear it 24 hours a day, it makes me feel more comfortable to have it there. I never had any trouble. We turned it on real quick and easy and did the test. I figured that at the end of the next month I'll push the button and try it out again, but it seems to work just fine and I feel comfortable with that. As far as I know everything is great. As I said, I feel comfortable since I'm home alone and I occasionally go walking on the golf course with my dogs. I feel like it's a good way to make quick calls for help since it's harder to get up when you get more mature.

I bought it for my mother since she had just recently had a fall and didn't have anything to help her at the time. She couldn't call anybody and if it hadn't been for a family member that was in the house, she would've been in the floor for several hours. She wears the device every day, though she hasn't had a time to use it yet. We haven't had any equipment issues or anything and as far as I know from the test, it's working fine. Customer service has been very helpful and told me exactly what to expect. They walked me through the set up process and answered all my questions. Everybody has been very helpful and were on it. It was the first thing that came up when I was looking for a system for my mom. There's really nothing special about our days. We used to have the device that detects falls but we kept getting false alarms on it since it was so sensitive. We switched over to the one where she has to push the button if she falls. She hasn't had to use it yet but she thinks that it will be alright. Her fingers are numb now but she thinks she'll be able to push the button if she has to. Everybody has been really nice since we got started. They've been really good about he false alarms and everything. We are happy with it.

When I first got it, they were very helpful and went through all the steps with me. Originally I went with the regular button, the one that's just for when you stay home. Since I'm more active I decided to switch to Active Guardian. I made a mistake the other day though. I had to go get an MRI, so I put the device in my walker's basket. I never realized that the little squares in the basket were just the right size for the thing to fall through and I just lost it. I tried calling them to get a replacement but at that time they were closed. Afterwards I was able to get them to replace it for me and I'm waiting to get another one. I wish they had a separate phone line for emergencies that are not related to the button pressing. It seems that everything goes to the same line. On top of that, the replacement is $350. I wish it wasn't quite that expensive, especially since I'm sure I'm not the only person that has lost one. Other than that I'm satisfied with it, they are very trustworthy.

When I was researching it, the person that I talked to on the phone was very courteous and sounded very honest. When comparing the prices, some of the other companies would charge over a hundred dollars, especially with all the whistles and other features. Medical Guardian was the cheapest, $70 as the young man told me, so I went with it. I wear it 24 hours a day and I'm still very mobile. I drive my car, go to town, go to church, etc. So far I haven't had any incident, thank goodness, but I feel comfortable knowing that it's there. If something were to happen to me, if I fall or something, I would have it at hand. Being 83 years of age, being protected is a great thing.

In all honesty we haven't had this for very long. We did our initial testing when we installed it, but we haven't even had it for long enough to do the second monthly test. I have talked to some people when I had questions and everybody was very nice, helpful, and courteous. When we first got it we did have a component missing, but I just called them and they rushed to get it to me within 2 days. The device itself is really nice, it's not big an ugly like you would expect a medical alert bracelet to be and my mom doesn't mind wearing it. Thank God we haven't had to use it, but the idea is that it's there for her safety and comfort.

I was worried about my heart's health. I have difficulty breathing some days and on others I just don't feel good. That's why I decided I needed to have some kind of alarm in case I ever passed out. They check on me daily and I think it's very beneficial, I love it. They also check on me whenever I press the button and the service is great. Right now I'm trying to keep up with my payment, which is 41 dollars a month or so. It's a great plan and very affordable for me considering I'm on a fixed income. I'm trying to convince my fiance to get one too since he has asthma. He's very stubborn and doesn't really like going to the doctor to taking medicine, so I'm trying to persuade him to get it.

I happened to discover it through Amazon. After seeing it there I called them and the nice lady on the phone explained everything to me. She was very convincing and I decided to go ahead and try it out. I purchased the system in August, and so far it has been very good. Since I have a very poor eyesight I don't drive anymore, I do go out for walks though. That's the primary occasion when I use the device, though I've also taken it with me when I go away for events with friends. There is a learning curve to the system. It took me awhile to get accustomed to it and make sure I had it with me when I went out. I've called a couple of times when I was trying to figure out a little more about the service. I always had good and well-informed responses. It has been quite satisfactory. I've had no problems with them and it seems to be a quality product, so I'm sticking with it.

I had knee surgery very recently and I decided it was time to get a service like Medical Guardian. I think their devices and options are all excellent. When I called to order, customer support was superb. The lady on the phone was very professional and answered my questions. They said it would be shipped in 4-5 days and it was. After that, it was easy to install and activate. My only complain, and this might be a little silly, is that the blue and red lights of the base unit are way too bright. They illuminate a room in the dark, I don't know why they need to be so bright. In fact I hide it behind a couple of books to make the lights dimmer.

It was very nice speaking with them. They were very understanding, they explained everything to me and it was fine. They were very good to me. I'm not as steady as I used to be and there are times when I wouldn't be able to call my family that I live with, so I thought this would make me a little more independent. As a retired person with multiple disabilities, I'm not around very much, but I like to be mobile, and for the most part, the system works very well for me. I think that it is well designed, because it has the portable speaker, and that makes more sense than other systems I've researched. Th other systems that I've tried were senseless, and you had to take it off in the middle of the night. This device allows you to wear it in the shower! Plus, it's reasonably priced. Also, the representative I spoke to helped me choose the system that would suit me best, and even helped me save some money. On top of that, the guy that activated the system was extremely helpful. He gave me some tips on how to use the device, stayed with me on the phone while I tested the system, and made sure it was working right.

I have the wristband and I just feel secured in having it. If anything did happen, I would be able to push the button and somebody would call and I'd be able to get assistance within a short period of time. If I do go out of the house, I take the monitor; I put it in a case and I take it with me, and I know that anywhere I go, any distance, I would be able to get help also. I haven't had to use it yet, thank heavens. I live by myself, and my husband died a year ago. I just felt it would be good for me to have in the house in case I have any problems. I'd be able to push the button and have assistance. The representatives of the company are very helpful. When I first got it, they explained to me how to use it, and I'm able to test it at any time that I want to, whether it's once a month or anytime that I feel necessary. I can test it without any problem. I just think that it's a very good asset for anybody who lives by themselves, or anybody who has an illness and wants to feel secure, whether they live in their house by themselves, or if they travel.

So far, we haven't had to use Medical Guardian. We got it for my mom because she lives alone and she uses a walker to get around. Before we got it, she did fall and didn't have any way to get help. We got it as soon as that happened, so that if she had any more incidents, and I wasn't around to help, she would be able to use it. I wanted to be able to have something anytime she's walking around or in the shower so she has some kind of safety device to help her in case she falls or can't get up. Medical Guardian's representatives were really courteous, and they explained the whole system. We purchased the necklace and the bracelet together. We got the whole system within a week of ordering, and got it set up immediately and got it connected. We don't have any problem; it's really simple to set up. You just give the representative your numbers for your emergency contacts, and when you receive it, you plug it in and call them and tell them that you activated it. There was nothing to it, it was super simple!

We're looking for something new 'cause the one that we're using was not working out well and I went online and it said on the web something like the 5 best in the country and Medical Guardian came out number 1 so the cost was more than the other one was but the other one when I press the button I will get a Verizon message instead of getting up something to help me out I will get a Verizon message saying press this number for that press that number for this and that's ridiculous...it's a lot cheaper than medical guardian but if cheap doesn't help as it , if you gonna die because of it you know...I need it 'cause my other service did not work well, they just said when I press the button on the other service I will get a Verizon message and we'll not get a person and how does it help you on an emergency so I knew I have to get something new

I was married for 70 years, my husband died a year and a half ago and I live alone, I live in out in the country, I do have neighbors but they're too far to call and I have a daughter and I can reach her by phone but if I'm not be able to do that then I should have someone who could find me if I needed help so I thought I should have this, particularly I'm working out in my yard or something I said no one would even know where to find me if I would fall and couldn't get up and couldn't tell anybody where I was. The guardian alert...I went on and they were number 1 in all the once that I looked at online and so I call them and asked for brochure and then I talked to them and I like it. I had had a Verizon, the one that telephone company had, they had an alert system but they gave it up so I had to find another one. I particularly like this one because it's better, I can take it with me away from the house, I didn't want one that I only can use at home because I go out in my car yet but I am alone and I wanna be sure that someone knows where I am and this one has a GPS with it, if I'm in my car and I won't be able to tell where I am, it will find me and that was a good thing to know. Let's say they're very helpful and they thought me a lot of things and they sent me a brochure and things that I could look at and they were very straight forward and I'm glad that I took a test, I like it. It was very easy to set it up...they called and tell me what to do, very simple, very quick, very easy to do so I would suggest them, anybody would like it, it's very good, very good

Well my daughters decided I needed it, I volunteered on the dog rescue and I'm down there at all hours of the day and night and sometimes with big animals that have been off, street dogs and not necessarily a real safe situation and our neighborhood is not very safe and I fell three times in previous year, tripping over dog whatever and the last time, as a matter of fact it's funny that you're calling today because I was just at the doctor again. This last time I have back surgery, second back surgery tomorrow and for that injury and I'm there a lot alone at night in the dark and they just work comfortable with that and asked me to do it and by that point I thought that was probably a pretty good idea

I got an alarm and researched different companies and that was one of them and the benefits of them same that way the others. My parents are elderly and we have speeders but they're not there at night time and daddy has fallen several times and just spend the night on the floor and he can't get to the phone, my mother has Alzheimer's and she doesn't understand go get the phone so we thought if we had the necklace on he could punch the button then get in touch with someone and will call us and send help if they needed to. Well I'm going to be 86 in March and my son was with me but he's not always with me and I do get through it to go and I thought what if I ever fell, now I have an iPad phone but if I fell and I was in pain or confuse, that's probably the last thing I'll be able to do on the iPad was to dial for help, so this way I got it around my neck and if I do fall or something happens I could just push the button. I got the whole kit, I got the bracelet, the necklace, the lock, the inside on a table, the ahh you know.. I don't know what they call it but there's a red and a blue button and it tells the date and the time and I guess if I had to use it I have to push the button.

I first saw a TV ad and decided to call the number they had for Medical Guardian. I purchased it for myself because I have been sick for 6 months and have not been able to get better. The diagnosis was not good and I was constantly going to the doctor. I just needed something near me just in case I needed somebody to help me if I needed help right away. I feel happy with it and feel very safe while I am driving or by myself. I feel like there is somebody always there to help me if I need it right away. The sales team was very nice. I wear mine all the time. I wear my little thing around my neck and I keep everything in order. I check it out all the time to make sure because I do live by myself and if I fall or something this is what I have to rely on. I haven't had the opportunity to actually use it which I'm fortunate there that I'm a little careful when I walk I make sure where I'm walking, watch where I'm going. Also, at my home I have the ADT channelled to the house but I do feel safer having this thing that I can wear around my neck or my wrist because if someone broke in this would give me time to call the police. Because the police know I got it and if I punch that thing they going to come. And if it's somebody breaking in it'll take a little bit longer with ADT. ADT works fine and comes on. It's good I'm not saying it's not. Anyway, it's very comforting to know that it's fast as it is, because if I press it right now it would come right on. That's how fast they are and I know because when I get ready to leave I do call them but I usually unplug it first and they immediately know, no electricity and all that kinda stuff immediately so I haven't found anything wrong with it yet.

I tested it once. That's been the only time I've really used it. I was able to connect with the office pretty easily. I could understand what there thinking and vice versa, so that worked well.

I like this mg watch, I do wish it was a little smaller. It's fine in the shower and the band is very adjustable. Coverage could be better as mine is consistently yellow. It charges well, but only complaint is the voice that tells you it is charged is too loud! I am not hard of hearing. My downstairs neighbor can hear it.

The system works pretty well in terms of them calling, and if I say, no, I'm okay, they respond pretty quick. It's just very frustrating that that really only works for me if I'm near the set and I most need it when I'm in the breezeway or on my patio when I cannot verbally communicate with anyone. It would be nice if my little pendant could communicate verbally.

My dad uses Medical Guardian and I was promised a $50 gift certificate when I signed my father-in-law up for the device, but that wasn't provided - the person that provided the gift card I think gave $20 or $25 and said that she had no knowledge of $50. So I think it's deceptive selling. There's that issue and then the wristband that we got was broken.

It's always there. I haven't used it that much to say how good it really is. It fell off one time when I was doing something and it just said, fall detected, and then I just said, no fall.

I'm pleased with it right now. It's working fine for what I need. They were right there when I dropped it, you know, to see if there was anything wrong. So other than that, I haven't really dealt with anybody. For the money, I would say it's okay.

I guess it's pretty good quality. I really haven't looked at it a whole bunch. The gentleman that helped me over the phone, I had gotten a hold of him on e-mail. He got back to me very quickly, helped me set it up, and answered all my questions. He was really nice.

I feel it's valuable. Gives me a sense of security. I've wondered if there's ever any warning that your battery is wearing down if you forget to charge it. But that's all, there's nothing that's really a problem.

They're very polite when I call. All I do is call and be sure that I've got enough charge on it. They just charged me $30.00 a month and then all of a sudden it went to $40 a month.

I've had a couple of falls, and guardian did not register them at all. Didn't acknowledge them the only time that it acknowledged. A potential fall was when it, the necklace itself dropped off of the edge of the dresser and hit the floor . Otherwise I am very happy with it
