They are the absolute worst company I have we’ve dealt with. I have a refrigerator that had a part that was discontinued. It took 3 months for them to give me a code to go in their website to order a new refrigerator. I sent them the extra money and the order was processed. I have had nothing but lies since then and, of course, no new refrigerator. I am at a loss as to what I should do. When you go on their website, it says the refrigerator I purchased is available in a week or so. They re scammers. Do not use them ever.

I've been without a working refrigerator for over 4 weeks. 2 out of three parts have arrived. Waiting on a simple filter which has not even shipped from the warehouse yet. Sears will not put in the parts they have nor left us get the filter from Home Depot and put it in. We are in limbo. We've spent a couple hundred dollars on ice and resorted to buying a mini fridge .

Garbage. Paid for YEARS and needed service on an air conditioner that wasnt working in the middle of summer. Sears can have some one out in 3-4 WEEKS. Made one phone call to a local who can come that afternoon. Give me a break. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Put the money you would spend for this useless warranty in a bank account monthly and by the time you need it, you will be way ahead. Customer service stinks also.

Will never step foot in a sears or use their appliance warranty services. Will never recommend their services to anyone living or dead. Have been trying to get my broken fridge repaired, which the tech deemed unrepairable. Now I’ve been going round and round for weeks to get my replacement. This has dragged out for weeks. Still no replacement approved. Won’t even get me to a management to discuss issues. Stay away from sears. The worst company ever!

Beyond bad! They use A & E services to fix appliances (under their name). Sears never calls, and are deceitful with their practices. I waited two days as they stated, and they pulled a NO SHOW, no calls, no verifying but wanted me to give up two days. I'm done with them. Why are they still in business???? Don't use, unless you want to be frustrated!!!!!!!!

I have had a Sears Warranty for more than 10 years. At the beginning it was great. But they moved to Cinch and it has been AWFUL since then, Customer service is terrible. It takes FOREVER for representatives to process anything - I am currently on the phone and it has taken 5 minutes for him to even pull up the existing claim so I can reactivate it. It took 2 YEARS for them to finally repair our furnace. Once a tech shows up, they do a great job. But the process of making and completing the claim itself is IMPOSSIBLE.

It is the worst company I have ever known in my life. I feel robbed. I have paid for 2 years of warranty service and my washing machine broke down. 9 different technicians have been coming for 4 months and have ordered 11 different parts and it is still damaged. Read the reviews and heed the warnings. DO NOTPURCHASE A HOME WARRANTY FROM SEARS HOME WARRANTY!!! It takes MONTHS for them to schedule a repairman to come to your home just to diagnose the problem. Then, it takes another month or two to RESCHEDULE the actual repair. And hold your breath that the correct part was sent to fix your appliance. I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The absolute Worst!!

If I could give no stars I would would. The first technician didn’t do a proper repair and the AC Stopped working 2 days later. Second technician left without finishing the job and and had to order parts but then marked the job as complete so the parts never showed up. The service tech did not respond to any calls or text. I spent 3 hrs on the phone trying to get someone to straighten things out. they dropped my call I transfer several times. It has been over a month now.

It’s taking over 2 1/2 weeks to repair my washer and when tech finally came with parts he said he has to order more parts because there was another part missing from order. Now it’s gonna take over a month to get my washer to work besides the money I’m spending in the laundromat every other day which I can’t afford besides the monthly fees I’m spend on warranty and the deductibles with Sears home warranty . Customer Service Manager Mary was very rude didn’t treat me as a valued customer

Would give zero stars if possible! Been without a refrigerator for 4 months, they have sent roughly 6 technicians out that say there is nothing they can do but are not allowed to put that in the report. So they have to keep sending more people out and they do absolutely nothing. When we call we are on hold for hours. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Do NOT buy this warranty! You pay them for the Coverage and they don't provide the services! My dryer is out of service sine 2/10. You can't EVER get a correct update, they have no process. All is done via email. It's April almost May and my dryer is still not fixed. They schedule service technician without the parts being shipped, then cancel because parts are not shipped with no estimated arrival or tracking number. I paid my deductible and NOTHING! There's absolutely NO WAY this is or "ONE OF THE BEST" ..... it's absolutely CRAP & a SCAM!

I gave them a 1 because they answered the phone. MY Dad has been paying for this for 40 years. A few years ago had problem with refrigerator they wouldn't fix it so he demanded all his money back from all the years he paid...they thendecided to fix it. Today he has trouble with air condition they told him that He had to get someone and they would reimburse him...He is paying 100.00 a MONTH for THEM to do all that this must have become a SCAM OPERATION. DONT GET CAUGHT UP IN IT!!!!!!

When you pay for a plan and they tell you they will send you back the other $200 in a couple weeks from the part on your washer that only supposed cost you $100 but ended up costing you $300 because 6 months later they still have not sent my $200 back to my account and we call them once a week every month for 6 months. You know this company is a lie cheating joker of a company. I give them a big Zero for no effort to help there customers at all.

If I could I would give them zero stars I would. The technician never showed up. We are currently on appointment number 3. Each time we call to inquire about the time we are told the tech will call us approximately 1-2 hours out. It takes close to one hour to reach a customer service rep. After hanging on the phone we never get a resolution and told to call back. So disgusted and will be canceling our annual warranty as soon as we can. I do not recommend them.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Sears has turned into a total joke. Good luck on getting any help or resolution to any issue or problem. Their solution is to transfer you to someone else. The searshomehub website is even more useless. Unable to get appointments scheduled, and IF they are scheduled, they will be cancelled. I have delt with the for the last 3 appointments and still waiting to get my frig and stove fixed. This is a joke, waste of money, and a rip of to someone who needs any type of service. RUN FROM THEM!!!!!!! GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

I called to cancel my protection agreement after I spoke to the representative he told me there was a charge of $ 59 plus a $25 cancelation fee and I should get a credit of $181 back to my account, he charged my account an extra $ 181 instead of credit, his excuse he missed reading the cancellation policy discloser, and tried to speak to a manager he said no manager available

Terrible! Waited all day and tech sent a text they showed up and no was home. A total lie! We wasted our entire day waiting. Called service - finally got someone- was told it tech would return to our home. Never arrived. Called again, was told I have to call next day to get another DATE! They could not expedite appt same day! Why? I bought appliances with extra warranty to avoid these headaches and it’s worse!

I can only echo the horror stories given by other extremely dissatisfied customers. It is almost impossible to reach a human, and if you do after hours of being on hold they are very unresponsive to your concerns or complaints. The service providers they use are very unprofessional. They make several appointments that they neither keep or notify you that they are not coming. I called to cancel my policy and was told that I had to keep this policy until the renewal period which was several months away. I am shocked that company which formerly had an excellent reputation has sunk this low.

I called to cancel my Sears warranty program. They never deducted anything out of my bank for 4 months. Then they claim that my warranty was not canceled that it was my fault. So they wanted me to pay $290. If I would pay the $290 I could cancel my warranty. So I paid the 290 that they say I owe them for 4 months. Then I call to cancel and they told me I had to pay another $114 because my warranty didn't expire till September. These people are bunch of scammers. Don't get this warranty. Their technician was great he got the problem fixed The problem is with their higher-ups

Sears is horrible right now I’ve been with them over a decade. My washer been out since January 12. Several peoples been out to fix it said it was gonna replace the washing machine. It is now February 14 still don’t have a replacement of my wash machine I have eight people in my home. It cost four dollars a load. Every person has three loads is costing me $96 every weekend to wash clothes.

""Scam Alert"" Be aware of Sears Home Warranty, which is now Cinch Home Warranty. They have a scam they're running with their add on services. If you already have a plan with them, do not add any additional coverage to it. If you do they will ask for it to be paid in full the first year. And if the account is cancelled before the duration of the add on ends, they will not reimburse the add on. Better yet, just stay away from them. The only time you get good service from them is when you're signing up, or paying the plan. anything else, forget about it.

If I could give Sears Home Warranty ZERO stars I would!! There are no customer service agents here in the United States. One of the reps I reached was in the Philippines. I was transferred from one person to the next. I finally reached someone who offered to give me a refund since no work had been done. I’ve had Sears home warranty for years, but they wouldn’t even connect my new water hose to the ice maker. They said it wasn’t covered under my warranty. So, I’m getting a refund for my deductible… and then will look into deciding if I want to keep them or cancel.

Sears home warranty (appliance plan) is a complete joke and total waste of money. I've been paying $50 a month for over 2 years and have only had one appliance fixed, never showed up again to fix any other claims, And tried to charge me an additional $100 deductible per/ appliance every time I needed something fixed. I would have been better off just calling a handyman or a appliance repair company. Would saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I would not recommend Sears home warranty to anybody! Ever.

I paid for almost 2 years without putting a claim, and when I did I was given the run around. My dryer was making terrible noise. Long story short.. We went months after putting the claim without any help. Their story was that they were waiting for a part. We received a number of parts in the mail, but one more was needed always. I canceled my contract. NEVER again will I throw my money away on Sears Home Warranty.

WARNING! DO NOT BUY SEARS WARRANTY. THEY MOVE THE BUSINESS TO CHICAGO AND CHANGED THE NAME. MY Refrigerator hasn't worked since August and even though they gave me a case number for the process to replace it I haven't heard anything, the last technician came in my house and all he did was talked to his boss and after he left I got a text saying they are searching for parts, they know the parts are not available so they must be dumpster diving for parts.

I wish I could give this company a -10 stars! We have been without a refrigerator for 3 months. They keep sending parts to be replaced which has been done 4 times since September and now they say the technician has left the service order open so we have to wait another 10 days and call back. For what?? So they can put us off again? We will never purchase another Kenmore product. The warranty is worthless.

Sears warranty is awful. They should be looked into by our government officials. I have been trying to get my wall oven fixed since mid May 2023. They are telling me they are still looking for the part. It's now November and I keep calling customer service and they tell me call back in an hour, or 24 hours , or a week later. I am not getting anywhere with calling them. Do not sign a warranty contract with them. You will get trapped into paying every month for no reason other than filling up their pockets and keeping you hostage to a contract of deceit.

This is the worst company. First it is impossible to speak to a live body --- ever. Second, more than one week after the assigned contractor submitted its report and more than 3 days after they submitted their second report, Sears reported that they were still waiting for a report. This was for a refrigerator. We have now been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks. Under no circumstances should you buy a warranty from this company. It is no surprise that virtually every review is 1 star.

Sears Home repair is terrible do not get one .Had one on a Kenmore dishwasher for 16 years .It broke and unrepairable with promises for monetary or a new one. Since August I have waited with "we will get with you in 72 hours". A settlement is close we will contact you on October 13. No call, called customer we will get with you in 48 hours.Never a supervisor to talk to or will call you in two hours.I would give them no stars.

Used Sears many times in the past. Decided to become a Home Warranty customer. Even with that, the night before my appointment (which I waited a week for) THEY cancelled saying the parts weren’t here (they’re sitting in my living room). Are making me wait another week for my next appointment. We’re a busy family of 5 that has not had a dishwasher in over a month. I took off of work for this appointment! This is not a Technician issue, this is poor management!

The absolute worst mistake you can make in home warranty. They send out their "company" service people trained to say their magic phrases that waste your time. Can't fix the problem. Then deny service. All while they collect your $49.99 a month service. Then charge you $75 service charge for them to tinker with your appliance and leave. Better idea is to open a separate bank account and put $5p in each month. At least that way you keep your money.

Run don't walk if you are in a position to purchase Home Warranty or Product Protection for purchases. Absolutely horrible. I am 3 months with a refrigerator that hasn't been operable. It was in service less than one year when the compressor failed and I have been talking with their various "teams" and keep getting the same circuitous answers. No technician in the area, no technician date, no technicians so we'll replace, wait more time please, wait some more...we're sorry. Poor on every level. Well they tell me to wait politely, I guess.

At the encouragement of a Sears Repair service tech performing a repair that I paid for, I purchased the warranty so I could get a $150 discount on the repair. The tech said I could cancel after 3 months without any cancellation fee. After paying for 4 months, I called to do and was told I had to pay the $150 back to cancel. After I voiced outrage repeatedly, the customer service rep said it would indeed be cancelled without fee. While happy about that, why did I have to throw a fit to accomplish it?

I had Sears for several years and never had an issue. A&e who does their work is an embarrassment to the industry. I have four appointments, 8 hr windows that were no show or no notification after the 8 hrs were up..not showing. I talk to Sears customer service, a joke by the way, and they couldn't even get an answer why. I'm not sure why they are in business. I cancelled on Thursday and Fri they took their monthly charge. Sears is an embarrassment to the warranty industry. Do not use!

I was told that a technician was coming between eight and twelve today. It is after 4:30 pm. no show .I have called six times and have had to give all of my information to each person I spoke with Each person told me that I would be contacted by the technician. It has not happened !!!!!!!!!! I will cancel this expensive non existant service! I am very upset and frustrated! they wasted my entire day.

not good...the first service call 8/24/23 reveiled a bad control board. the board did not get ordered until September 22 and mailed to my address on 09/27 not expedited mail. I spent a total of 2 and half hours on the phone to get to install on 9/28 today. In the meantime i have no dryer for almost 6 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! Sears is not the only outfit that provides home warranty service. Plus Sears went up on my premiums and service call payment. I'll be checking other avenues in the near future.

1 star is far to kind! I filed a claim on May 9, 2023 and immediately paid my $100.00 deductible. I have been calling and taking time off for my dishwasher to be fixed to be told additional parts are need, parts are no longer available, this is being sent to this department and that department for review. This is being escalated. I am now almost 4 months into this and still cannot get a manager on the phone and being told it is being escalated. RUN!!! DO NOT USE THIS WHOLE HOME WARRANTY!!! THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING YOUR MONEY MONTHLY BUT DO NOTHING AFTER THAT!!!!

REEEAAALLLLYYY wish I'd have found this site bf we signed up! We are in a bind and were basically sold a false bill of goods. HORRIFIC customer service. LONG wait times, disconnections, and "inability to locate account" online. Only to discover they have "no technicians in the area." Said they would follow up with an email with instructions for us to find a tech on our own, get the invoice and apply for a refund. No email was sent and I cannot get anyone to pick up or return my calls. Unbelievable!!

Took off the entire day from work they never showed up, system continued to say that they were scheduled to come or in route. They took the upfront $100 deposit, tried calling countless times either I could never get a human on the phone and when I finally got one they put me on hold and also hung up on me very poor customer service. The customer service is atrocious, even if you even can get through to someone you won’t get any answers on your service job. FRUSTRATING Do not fall for this company. If they can repair your items you are good. If they can not repair your item you will be on the phone constantly trying to contact a human. They have layers and layers of bots, AI chat and email links that do nothing. You will have to contact an upgrade in warranty division and ask them to help you reach a human. Be nice to them they can't help it that their team members don't do their job. Don't get stuck in this loop of never ending promises.

Please BEWARE !!!!!! do not buy this protection plan. My A/C has to be replaced. It has been 1 month without A/C in Miami. Sears approved the replacement but They haven't replaced it yet. I have been calling every 3 days to check the status and they said to me that I have to wait. I have been paying this plan for more that 6 years and now that I need them, they treat me like a garbage.

Have maintained contract for 2 years. About 1 month ago, problem with washer. After paying deductible, repairman came out 3 days later. Parts are no longer available an we are still waiting 4 weeks later for the”resolution dept” to send a check. We have 7 phone calls with excuses each time. Call center is in Columbia. Difficult to understand phone people due to accents. No confidence that we will actually get a check. Going to cancel. Very disappointed.

Doesn't respond to messages about a part that was supposedly found to be ordered? Five weeks without a washing machine. And of course there are no real people at any customer service phone number line. Got bamboozled with this one!

Poor service, long delays with service and parts. On our most recent and LAST protection plan, we reported our need for service in October but had to wait through not only Thanksgiving but also the Christmas holidays to get service and parts finally in January. I would NOT recommend Sears Protection Plans. At one time Sears was our go to source for appliances and protection plans. Unfortunately that ship has sailed. The current CEO has run the company into the grounds. Don’t but a Sears Appliance Protection Plan!!!

I have been waiting for the refund on my refrigerator since October 31, 2022. The refund is for the replacement refrigerator, since my current refrigerator is irreparable. It took at least 6 months for a technician to even advise me of that. I am currently keeping my food in a cooler and buying ice so that it does not spoil. I spoke to someone today whom yet again told me the “check was in the mail”. I’ve been given that same spiel for months. Today I threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau and leave a review.
