AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! The salesperson assured me that the plan covered one appliance with a pre-existing condition. I questioned her on all the details, then bought the plan and waited the required month before submitting a claim. It was not honored. I spent hours on the phone trying to get a resolution, without any luck (and several promises to call back which did not happen). Finally, I cancelled.

I have a sears protect contract. My dishwasher stopped working and they came out promptly to check it out. They ordered the parts and they are no longer available. They scheduled an appointment on 3-7-25 (no show), rescheduled to today (no Show). They've been taking my money but apparently but don't want to provide the service. DO NOT buy a Sears Home Warranty. It's a scam to take your money.

I have been buying Sears protection Plans forever and when I bought a home this was a no brainer. When looking at some of the reviews it is evident people are just impatient. Not all, but when an appliance breaks, your not the only customer and waiting a couple of days is not bad, especially since your saving hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on the repair. They aren’t magicians that wave a wand and same day things are fixed. Their process is simple, text updates about appointment and updates morning of and when your the next stop. In my area the techs are great and they have different technicians for different appliances. So far I have had preventive maintenance checks, both same guy and he was awesome and knew his stuff and walked me through everything he was doing while telling me best practices to best maintain my furnace and AC. I also had my washer break and they could have ordered the parts but it was cheaper to cut me a check for a new one, or they offered me a comparable model with the same features. Now I will say I take good care of my stuff and I have seen some bad stuff in 11 years of retail. If you take care of it and it’s not misused, everything goes smooth. Most people on here manhandle and don’t care for their stuff and the are they ones upset when claims are denied. Read manuals and operate as should and there will never be issues with plans like this. Chose sears because of how big their fleet of technicians are, how long they have been doing it, they cover more then any other plan I could find, high per year/ per job cap, can cancel anytime, I have nothing but praise for this plan and for 69.99 and how much I’m out of town, this plan keeps me at ease that if anything happens it will be taken care of.

I reluctantly signed up for Sears Home Warranty because the horrible experience I had with TotalProtect Home Warrant (Total Reject). Just had an issue resolved within a week with my furnace. After submitting a claim a tech scheduled next day service. Savings HVAC LLC replaced the control board that same day. The control board did not fix the problem and they determined the furnace needed to be replaced. I expected problems and a fight only to find I was offered the option pay the difference for a more efficient furnace. Completely painless and very little effort. If I had to point out anything negative about the entire experience was the 2 day wait on the new furnace. Well worth the wait and I'm extremely pleased with the entire process. Mind blown!!!

I had excellent service with my sears appliance Warranty , when the item couldn't be fixed it was replaced . Sears always sent out a repair person to fix my appliances to satisfaction. I hope they continue to sell appliances & warranty , they continue to satisfy customers . Including my self. I have had several recent experiences . Thank you Sears ! Donna G

I have had Sears Home Warranty now for 2 years. The most frustrating part of the plan is getting it set up the folks on the other end of the phone due to accents. My main warranty calls have been for my refrigerator with built in ice maker. Had Sears here a couple times. Problems with the ice machine was all manufacturer related. Sears will come back at no charge for the same issue within 180 days. So, basically I paid $75.00, and they came here several times for the same issue due to the refrigerator. I have also had them here several times for my washer, which seems Whirlpool made the agitator pretty cheep. I just changed my plan to the whole house plan. The only experience I have had with that as of this first month, is when I did set it up, the man I spoke with asked if I had central air system, as they were setting up appointments for the annual maintenance, which is of no charge each year. He also advised that in August, I needed to call for the Heating System cleaning and maintenance, which also was at no charge each year. There is a 30 day waiting period when setting up the plan for any services. As stated, except for the frustration of foreign accents setting the account up, everything else has been great with Sears (Cinch) Home Warranty.

Put in a claim December 3rd 2021, still waiting for Microwave repair and finally after 4 months , I was directed to a US person and was able to take care of my claim ASAP. Michelle was very clear and concise and promised that all would be taken care of within a couple of week. Indeed , I was contacted by a store manager for Sears and he personally brought a new GE microwave from 120 miles away. The installation was to be done by a service tech but I ended up doing that myself. Bravo and thank you. It pays to stay focused and keep calling until you get a response.. Again , thanks to Michelle.

We have a Sears warranty for our dishwasher (Kenmore). It has been a problematic purchase - issues started after we'd owned it for only a few years. The last time it failed, it took 2 months for the Sears repair people to finally get it working. However, Sears was not 100% to blame. The issue is that the repair people are often incompetent, dishonest and downright lazy. We did finally get one that fixed it, but I will spare you the details of our multiple visits. Why the 4 stars? Because Sears did really try. They sent us compensation for our troubles and continued to send people out to resolve the issue. The Sears phone reps were polite and did their best to help us. The issue is that repair people *in general* are not very good. So even when you hire people yourself, you can run into the same issues we did. Sears did not give up and kept on top of it until our issue was resolved, in spite of the poor performance of some of the repair people.

Its easy to schedule an appointment online. However sometimes the wait is longer than I'd like. The technicians are friendly and respectful. We had 3 appliances break down in a 2 week period. Optimum Appliance did a great job accessing the problem and fixing my oven sensor and dryer sensors. Our Bosch dishwasher technician told us nothing is wrong with the dishwasher, so we rescheduled for 3/22. At that appointment he thought we need a new motor & ordered the part. Our next appointment to install is on 4/9. Wish it was sooner as we are dealing with a dishwasher that isn't cleaning well. It is very difficult to get a customer service representative on the phone.

Sears Home Store in Knox Indiana. Expedited the service call and on June 3rd late afternoon my craftsman 8400 pro series was repaired and all is working well. Contacted Sears Home Warranty May 30, 2020 about my Craftsman 8400 pro series riding mower which I paid a little over 4000.00 including a 3 year warranty. I was told by the person I would be contacted within 48 hours. I never heard back so I called after 48 hours and was disconnected. So I called the Sears home Store in KNOX Indiana where I purchased mower from. The man was able to get me a appointment for technical service to come out. The service technician will not arrive for 3 weeks!!!!!! I am disabled, my wife has to use a push mower .... We have 1 1/2 acres that need to be mowed weekly. This is completely unacceptable after paying 4,000.00 for this mower. I am contacting local tv stations for buyers beware. This mower was purchased May 28, 2019 and well maintained with oil changes, air filter change and using the appropriate gas. The mower will not move forward or backwards and does not appear to have a broken drive belt.

I manage a rental for a client and we signed up for Sears Home Warranty as she lives on another Island and cant help when things go wrong. They have a $50 fee each time they visit but whatever they are there to fix is free. If they cant fix it, they replace it. I have called them for these items: Ceiling fan would not shut off - figured out it was tied into the neighbors electric? Awesome! Garbage disposal stopped working - replaced it for free. Toilet leaking - replaced it. Bathroom fan stopped working - replaced it. I love this service and in comparison to American Home Shield, it is less expensive on the calls but a bit more expensive on the monthly. I believe I pay $50 a month for this service and $50 for the service fees when we call for them to come. They are very responsive and every tech I have experienced is hugely professional. Although we no longer have Sears on Island, they are still represented by true professionals.

I asked for the bundle package for items. I’ve had for over 10+ years and always renewed every year…. I asked for a maintenance. They told me they no longer carry the bundle package that was on my acct… They took my money and didn’t apply the warranty that I always get. Even though they say it’s not available 🤷🏽‍♀️ online still shows available. Don’t trust them.

I do not recommend Sears Home Warranty! They are terrible! In the past when you reported a problem with an appliance, they would ask you questions about what the model and make of the appliance and what the problem was. When the technician showed up, they would have parts with them so that they could fix it right away. Now when you call, they ask the same questions but the technicians carry no parts. They come in, look and order a product and then leave. You then have to call them when the part shows up to schedule yet another appointment. The service technicians are not very good. You tell them what is going on and they say 'I don't see a problem'. Dealing with Customer Service is horrendous. They all speak with very strong accents and cannot help you when you say 'I am not getting any emails about service requests I have logged'. In the last call, I got passed around to 5 different people, each asking for my name, address, phone #. Each one not being able to help. This is the worst experience I have had as a customer ever.

I like the $50/month price tag- I was told it never changes either. I had amazing luck getting good repair people in at first. Then recently, I had the worst experience. Since you pay and they contract a repair person for you- you are really left with whatever they choose. This guy and his company were an avg of 3 stars. He is know to rip people off and not complete jobs. He told us our 8 year old Elite oven could not be fixed- it is a design flaw that creates our problem. He did not do any research to get to that resolution but settled to replace a part that wasn't even broken. He took a week to order parts, had to request our make and model information from us more than once and I had to drive the whole repair process. I tried to reach out to the Warranty group but they just sent me back to his company. Affordable does not make up for reliable or easy to use.

May 2018: Called Sears Home Warranty Service for a plumber. The first plumber that came out was All Star Plumbing. I gave them the $100. deductible. The plumber completed one job (clearing blockage in kitchen drain) and left three other jobs undone (kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet, and bath tub faucet). He said he was coming back....never saw him again. Called Sears to report him and to request they send me another plumbing service provider. Second plumbing serve came a few days later. I have three jobs still open. The plumber replaced kitchen faucet but never came back to replace bathroom and tub faucet. Called them several times, left messages but no one ever returned my calls. Called my home warranty company only to be told that they (K.G. Winston and Son) told them that I canceled my request for service on my bath tub and faucet (THEY LIED AND NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS to tell me they were not coming back). SIDE NOTE: I have used them before and I did like their service (don't what happened this time).

Absolutely zero minus stars! This company by far has no consideration for its consumers. Painting the picture: 105 heat index, confirmation texts and emails including the day of appointment, time between 8AM- 12PM ( the warranty company CHOICE was of no help-different review). Sears Home Warranty never called to say that they would be unable to make the appointment but instead it wasn’t until I called and was on hold for 40 minutes 2 1/2 hours later while speaking with Imani that I get a text with a reschedule date for 2 weeks later. I should not have been surprised because the did my 70+ year old parent ls the same way. Seriously could Sears not provide a courtesy text or call during the appointment hours. They didn’t just discover in the afternoon that the technician called out sick. What a blatant disregard for the respect of and for the consumer.

DO NOT - I repeat, DO NOT USE THEM! I've paid for this warranty through Sears for over 5 years and JUST started using them for repairs these last two years for replacing 3 items. It was literally like pulling teeth to get things done. Each item took 3 to 4 months to get resolved, I had to keep calling them to get updates (rarely do they contact you regarding delays and mixups). They give you a link to track your delivery ONLY for it to give you a wrong estimated delivery date, then you have to call and then they tell you that the delivery date is incorrect!!!!! (after you've taken off from work). They keep saying "they understand" yet continue to give you the run-around on realistic expectations. They only allow you to talk to a customer service rep (which just reads off the screen) and refuse to send your call to a case manager supervisor when requested. It took... - 3 months to replace a stove top - 4 months to finally replace a dishwasher. - Currently as of this post, waiting a month and a half to get a replacement for a washing machine. The value is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!!! SAVE YOURSELF SOME FRUSTRATION!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! PS - If Sears would like to keep their name and reputation good, I would terminate the contract with whichever third-party company you use to fulfill your Home Warranty needs. THEY DEFINITELY ARE NOT GIVING YOUR COMPANY A GOOD NAME, REPUTATION, AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!

PLEASE BE WARNED...this is not a company who values a customer or honors their agreement/word!!! They WILL take your money. If you have a warranty issue they transfer you from department to department, for hours...all agents are foreign, hard to understand & unhelpful(almost like they want you to give up). If you have a reimbursement situation, you can forget about tgem following through. The only U.S. agents are in the retention department & they charge you if you want to cancel - you have to payback any discount or promotion they've given you. I have 1 claim that I made in March & it is still not resolved 4 months later in July. They will also not contact me regarding a reimbursement they verbally told me they would pay before I made a payment to one of their service contractors out-of-pocket. Do business with them - most definitely at YOUR own risk. My experience has been a stressful nightmare.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Attempted an AC service tune-up. Scheduled a month out. Tech arrive 3 days later, wouldn't do the service due to temp, closed out the ticket which prevented me from being able to reschedule. Tech would not reschedule appointment nor return call. I work from home and no doorbell ringing or attempt to knock on door. Spent 5.5 hours on the phone getting the run-around - with each rep assuring me they would fix the problem. Could never speak to a manager. Wrote the BBB and got a response from their Advocacy group saying the tech did as contractually obligated which was to take pic of my home, tried to reach via cell and he got PAID for this! Customer service agents are a joke. I was transferred back and forth to multiple departments often returning to the same departments. Ended up trying to cancel the entire remaining contract which took over an hour and is STILL NOT RESOLVED. Now I'm being told there are "issues" with my account and it will take 3-5 days to resolve and I am to call back to a general 800 number. Their service team had the audacity to try and schedule other maintenance today, but I couldn't get to the right department to figure out WHAT maintenance they were offering.

I purchased a 5 year warranty in September 2019 for 4 appliances at a cost of $2530. I requested a service tech come out in late January to check my 2000 dishwasher and 2007 LG dryer. I had told them that the dishwasher made a loud noise sometimes when operating but it was working and that my dryer had been very slow to start tumbling when i had a heavy load of towels loaded but it too was working. The tech came and took both appliances apart and said he would order parts and be back to finish when the parts arrived. I asked him if i could use the appliances until he returned and he responded, no, neither appliance would work. He came back in two weeks and worked on replacing the dryer parts and after doing so, the dryer still did not work, so he had to order more parts. The dishwasher parts had not come in, so nothing done to the dishwasher on the second visit, and no dishwasher and no dryer to use. It is now 4 months later and I still do not have a working dishwasher or closes dryer. The have been trying to find parts and have been unsuccessful. I call every week and am told something different each time. I have been told that the parts department has recommend both appliance be replaced, I have been told that replacements have been approved, have not been approved and still nothing is happening. I find that it was kind of odd that they would sell a 5 year warranty on a 20 year old dishwasher and a 17 year old dryer; BUT THEY DID, and now they need to stand behind that warranty or refund the full cost of the warranty and let me replace them myself. I have nothing positive to say about Sear Home Warranty and will never purchase anything from them again.

SEARS you really should be ashamed of yourself!!! Zero Stars - Based on my current and ongoing experiences with the “SEARS Protect Home Warranty” program. Personally, I believe this is the single worst and most frustrating customer experience I have ever received from a company. I have confirmed each service call prior to the date; then they simply just don’t show up, next rescheduling you for two to three weeks out. They have a TOTAL disregard for the customer’s time and inconvenience. To add insult to injury… IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK WITH A HUMAN BEING!!!! After reading the voluminous Terms and Conditions of the contract, the customer has ZERO recourse or remedy for the abhorrent level of customer service. One month before my one year contract was due to expire; I called for my free one year inspection for my A/C unit. I knew my contract was going to expire so I asked if there was an auto update for another year. I was told on the phone by the customer service representative, “ when the one you reserve there is no auto renewal”. One month later, the service company took money out of my account. I didn’t think it was an issue at the time so I called them. They informed me they would not refund my money and there would be a small cancellation fee. How could you charge a customer that was out contract a fee to cancel there contract that was expired. I wanted to cancel 6 months in but I gave them my word. I will inform people about the way the company who bought the sears warranty company does business. Thieves!!!!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would ! Entire refrigerator is down and they send me an ice maker repairman ! Come to find out, thy have NO sealed system technicians in my area but don't hesitate to charge me $50 a month for a warranty they cannot deliver on. Told me to find my own repairman, with crazy stipulations. Then, I have to pay him and keep my fingers crossed that they will reimburse me ! After I do all the legwork to find someone they approve of and accept the diagnosis and cost and get reimbursed, I'm dropping this company like a hot potato! Going with AHS like someone who works for Sears Home Warranty recommended to me. If you are looking for an appliance warranty plan, stay away from Sears.....actually, it's CINCH who is the underwriter for Sears. Either way, stay away. Also, if you have a hard time with HEAVILY accented English, good luck, you won't know if you are coming or going !!!

Had a general maintenance service call. The fellow looked at the dishwasher for 2 minutes and pushed a few buttons. But then started pressuring my wife and I to buy Sears insurance on all out appliances. He didn't care about maintaining the bosh dishwasher just selling a policy. Another time Water dripping on the floor, 2 technicians showed up. One worked on the machine while the other walked around the kitchen and living room looking at everything. Undercover cop? Other guy couldn't fix the leak just taped the hose so it would stop dripping and ordered a new part. Warranty says if it can't be fixed the first time ya get a new dishwasher...didn't happen. Another leak repair appointment on 11-22-23. Called and got some girl that her accent was so off that I guessed at what she was saying. Then I discovered she was also selling insurance for all appliances?? And she wouldn't give up! Will never sign up for Transformco/Sears Warranty again.

Review of Sears Warranty Response on Recumbent Bicycle On Monday, April 19, we were scheduled for a Sears Repairman to fix our ProForm recumbent bicycle under the Sears Warranty Plan. The bicycle needed parts, so we were scheduled for another date. On Monday, May 24, a Sear repairman was to repair our recumbent bike, but we still had not received the needed part. In the interim my husband placed 3 additional calls to the warranty center. He never received the answers he needed and spent a great deal of time on hold and being sent from one department to another. On Tuesday, June 8, I called the Sears Warranty department. They said they would look into the possibility of getting a new replacement bike for us since the necessary part was no longer available. If I had not called, would they have called me? Throughout June, I received several calls from various departments saying that they were working on this problem. On Friday, July 2, I called 4MY-HOME to inquire about the replacement bike. After a very long hold, I first talked to Quill who said we were approved for the new bike. (If I had not called, would they have called me?) She transferred me to the authorization team, and Fatima answered after a hold of 46 minutes. She transferred me to the replacement department where Shamery (?) said that we had a credit for $600 for a new bike. I was on the phone 1 hour and 3 minutes! Then I was asked to call another number-(800) 927-7836-to order the bike. After 33 minutes on hold I spoke to Fernando. He said the bike would be delivered by the 2nd week of July. Then I was transferred again and after 16 minutes I spoke to Ashley. After another 22 minutes (total wait of 1 hour and 11 minutes), I was told the bike would be delivered on July 16th. I was assured that the old bike would be hauled away when the new one was delivered. On July 16, 2021, the new bicycle was delivered. When I suggested that the men take the old bike to their truck, they said that the manifest did not call for the removal of the old bike. They did carry the bicycle to our front yard sidewalk. While they were assembling the bicycle, I called the warranty number 4MY-HOME at 12:40 PM and spoke to Steve about removal of the old bicycle at 12:44. He transferred me to the “correct department”, and I was on hold until 1:05 PM when I spoke to Ariel. She said that I would need to talk to the On-Line Care Team, and she would transfer me. Kim answered and said that she would have to transfer me to the Warranty Team. Kerry (a male) answered and said that he would have to transfer me to the “Haul-Away” Team. When Veronica answered, she said that I would get a call from the Haul-Away Team about removing the bicycle in 1 or 2 business days. Since it was Friday, I was told to expect a call on Monday or Tuesday. The call was over at 1:50 PM. I was on the phone for a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes. It is now Thursday, July 22, and I still have not heard from them. Meanwhile, the bicycle is in the front yard as an embarrassment in a very nice neighborhood. I am tempted to put a huge sign on it that reads “SEARS DID THIS”!

I had my Washer break on Jan, 2, 2020 I called the claim in a couple of days. It is now April and my washer is not fixed yet. The first technician came out about a week after I filed the claim and checked it and said that he would order the parts. A couple of weeks later I received the parts and I had to call back so that they could schedule a technician to come and install the parts. That took another week. When the technician arrived he stated that those were not the parts that my washer needed and stated that he would have to order other parts (Transmission). Those other parts took another 2 or 3 weeks to arrive. Once again I had to call back to schedule a technician. Technician arrived and installed parts but said it still wasn't working and needed to order another part. Once the new part arrived we called again to schedule. When technician arrived this time, he quickly installed the part (Agitator) and said it was ready and left right away. When we tried to use the washer after tech left it did not work. I called customer service and again I had to wait another week to get a technician to come out. This technician said something didn't get replaced or fixed right, He stated that he had the part in his van and that he would install it. He installed it and said that the washer was now fixed. As soon as he left we tried to use the washer again and it is still not working. I called customer service and once again they had to schedule a technician for the following week I an still waiting to get my washer fixed after 3 months, This is very unprofessional. And every time I call they just give me the run around and cant give me a straight answer.

I realize my warranty has expired, but the oven racks in my built-in double oven keep falling. I mentioned this to a tech who was checking another Sears appliance, and he said Sears have been replacing those racks for awhile. When I called about it, I was told that since the warranty had expired, they would not cover it and that I would have to purchase new ones. I feel that this is unfair because the racks were made too small for this unit so they should be replaced no matter how long the warranty is over. It is Sears' mistake in building the oven. I did end up purchasing only one because, with shipping, it was over $120. I could not afford more.

I was reading Heather's remarks on the water softener and the strangest thing happened to me. The difference is they admitted not having any technicians who knew anything about water softeners and authorized me through a letter to use any company I could find and they would reimburse me for the payment. Well I found a company to fix the the water softener and turned in all paper work as required then they denied the claim calling it a preexisting condition like they would know when the softener stopped working. I am suing and if you read their contract you will find that they cover pre-existing problems if the home had no way of knowing first hand. This is by far the worst company ever and if you are smart don't use this company unless you like lying

Terrible, terrible, terrible. NEVER sign their contract -- there are lots of good home warranty programs out there. Two out of three of my interactions have been awful. It took days for them to find a contractor to fix issues they labeled "emergency." If water is leaking through your floors causing thousands of dollars in damage, they don't care. They just won't have anyone available to look at it for days, and if you call again they have no idea how long it might take. So, you want to call a contractor yourself to avoid water damage, right? Nope, SearsWarranty won't tell you who their contractors are and won't cover the fix or repair.

Has this happen to anyone? I just want to share to be careful with the billing on your account. I believe they are setting me up to say they are not renewing as I'm up for renewal. They have my credit card on file and always have; yet my account is all of a sudden showing as past due and I need to pay to keep my account active. Don't you all have my payment information on file? Haven't you always taken care of the automatic payment? The rep said there is nothing to worry about because the payment is due today and it always shows past due on the due date. Wait? What? Even though the payment is due today like you said, how is it past due when the day isn't even over yet? Oh, that's just an automatic notice, she said. I told her it's very misleading and if you check my history, it will reflect that I paid late just to be used against me later. Payment history can be used as a reason not to renew on their end.

Warning: In our opinion, a Sears Home Warranty is basically worthless. It took Sears over a week to find a contractor who would honor their Sears Warranty, then when that first repair attempt wasn't successful, Sears charged us a 2nd $100 deductible to come back and fix it correctly (Our two service calls were within 45 days and Sears' written ads state they will guarantee their repairs for 180 days). We received terrible claims help, multiple delays, and very unprofessional customer service from Sears. We added up our costs and found we paid over $1400 in fees/deductibles to Sears, while if we had hired a repairman directly the cost would have only been about $300. Today we canceled our Sears warranty... and are very happy to be done with Sears.

Absolutely atrocious. I currently have a Sears Home Warranty My Samsung refrigerator has not been cooling for some 5+ months now. the freezer/fridge general run at 40+ degrees. The whole episode of trying to get something done by someone is unbelievable. BTW: Sears is not really the insurer it's Cross Country Home Services. It took almost two months to get a part which did not fix the problem. I'm been working for 3 weeks just to get two different repair companies to send their tickets to CCHS before CCHS will allow parts to be ordered. There seems to be no escalation or concern even if your appliance is totally useless. ADDENDUM: 3 hours after doing review: SEARS/CCHS called and they are going to get us another refrigerator, so I've upped my rating to 2 stars. Service is terribly slow but the insurance is not worthless.

I absolutely love that Sears Home Warranty is still in business even after the stores closed. This is the best company ever. They seriously go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. I have not had any issues getting a home repair or appliance fixed in a timely manner.

I reached out to get some information on what exactly they covered and do my appliances HAVE to be from Sears for coverage? I like that they offer 24/7 service, a 6mo guarantee on work done, and if they can’t fix something then they will replace it.

I had them for my kitchen items. They have many affordable plans to choose from. They came out and fixed my washer and dryer and we’re courteous. It did take 3 weeks to get an appointment but it was a busy time. I would recommend Sears! They always come back out if the problem came back at no charge.

Big scam, I was told I can cancel anytime and cancelation fees but in realty you cannot cancel for 1 year after your last claim . this means every claim claim will cost your 12 months premium . No wonder they got 1 star which should be no star rating

Stay away from Sears. They breach their contract with promises and can’t deliver the services. They use unqualified techs from AES factory services that came to fix my washer 3 times & the idiots order the same part 3 times and left the parts in my driveway. Last tech that came said machine needed to be replace but a supervisor had to come to my house to look at it. Well that was almost 2 weeks ago & supervisor has yet to show or call. When calling them you stay on hold for 45 minutes or more & get some foreigner language issues. Stay away so that you don’t waste your time or money.

Worst customer support ever. Pay monthly for home appliance warranty. Called and received service on June 26th for my range. Technician noted parts are not available. I called customer services 6 times and have been given a different story each time. A month later they said another technician needs to come out and evaluate again. Associates on the phone do not have a clue on what’s going on and they refuse to transfer me to speak to someone at a management level. Completely unacceptable.

They are the absolute worst company I have we’ve dealt with. I have a refrigerator that had a part that was discontinued. It took 3 months for them to give me a code to go in their website to order a new refrigerator. I sent them the extra money and the order was processed. I have had nothing but lies since then and, of course, no new refrigerator. I am at a loss as to what I should do. When you go on their website, it says the refrigerator I purchased is available in a week or so. They re scammers. Do not use them ever.

I've been without a working refrigerator for over 4 weeks. 2 out of three parts have arrived. Waiting on a simple filter which has not even shipped from the warehouse yet. Sears will not put in the parts they have nor left us get the filter from Home Depot and put it in. We are in limbo. We've spent a couple hundred dollars on ice and resorted to buying a mini fridge .

Garbage. Paid for YEARS and needed service on an air conditioner that wasnt working in the middle of summer. Sears can have some one out in 3-4 WEEKS. Made one phone call to a local who can come that afternoon. Give me a break. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Put the money you would spend for this useless warranty in a bank account monthly and by the time you need it, you will be way ahead. Customer service stinks also.

Will never step foot in a sears or use their appliance warranty services. Will never recommend their services to anyone living or dead. Have been trying to get my broken fridge repaired, which the tech deemed unrepairable. Now I’ve been going round and round for weeks to get my replacement. This has dragged out for weeks. Still no replacement approved. Won’t even get me to a management to discuss issues. Stay away from sears. The worst company ever!

Beyond bad! They use A & E services to fix appliances (under their name). Sears never calls, and are deceitful with their practices. I waited two days as they stated, and they pulled a NO SHOW, no calls, no verifying but wanted me to give up two days. I'm done with them. Why are they still in business???? Don't use, unless you want to be frustrated!!!!!!!!

I have had a Sears Warranty for more than 10 years. At the beginning it was great. But they moved to Cinch and it has been AWFUL since then, Customer service is terrible. It takes FOREVER for representatives to process anything - I am currently on the phone and it has taken 5 minutes for him to even pull up the existing claim so I can reactivate it. It took 2 YEARS for them to finally repair our furnace. Once a tech shows up, they do a great job. But the process of making and completing the claim itself is IMPOSSIBLE.
