I never received a written policy until my 30 day refund period was expired. There are still questions and lack of clarification that were discussed on the phone but are not in the written policy . I have not had to file a claim but I am worried that the company will not go by the verbal contract and I should have canceled when I could

Bought a 3 year plan for my mom. The first time she had to use it, it took a week for them to fins someone to come out for her washing machine and It's been a week and no one has been found to check her garage door opener! She is 74 and lives alone. This is just terrible...they had no problem taking almost $1400 from my credit card immediately, but when you need to actually use your warranty, this is what happens.

do not get back with when you leave a message, and was told by my salesman you cover a/c heating and hot water heaters but you do not just certain parts of. but on your website it says hot water heaters not justs parts of.

Choice denied my claim siting unchanged filters and debris ... lol 112* weather Case manager agreed to repair upon my escalating issue to management level ... only 3 days later case mgr tells me they can't get in touch with original technician for cost ... so she offered me $300 as ah courtesy. I asked to jus honor ur promise to repair ah as good will gesture as previously approved on recorded line .... they decided to take away that promised repair. Then I got lectured on da policy over and over ... depressing

Sometimes customer support is prompt, and sometimes they are not. I used the home warranty for a washing machine, but it took months to get it finished and I had to use it for a refrigerator that never really did work right. They didn't satisfy all my needs,

Poor communication , after making the initial installment of the contract it was hard to get in contact with the correct dept/person to ask question. The cancellation of contract debit amount takes extremely longtime 10-15 days. Still today I have not received my money and have to call numerous times to get an answer. Also, the company do not have services to help you if waiting for your 30days to start contract period, even if you want to pay out of pocket for services til the contract actually start. Unbelievable!

When I called to find out the number of technicians that could respond to my repair they would not tell me. I even had to call a few times could my call was dropped. They did not find a repairmen in a timely manner and I had to find someone myself. Sure glad it wasn't January and the furnace was not working.

They did not cover our heating/air conditioning system as stated. Did not listen to the service technician that actually evaluated and replaced our systems. Hard to get local technicians to take CHW claims. Technicians state that they do not cover their claims as well as the other providers. The last technicians came from over 60 miles away, and they took over four trips because of poor communication and part supplies.

My experience has been terrible, terrible. They didn't fix anything, they don't fix the faucets, or the leaks, they don't fix anything as far as I can say. In fact, the leaks were caused by pop-ups and they just said they didn't handle pop-ups. They don't do air-conditioner, they don't do stalls, they don't fix anything. I had to get somebody else to fix it.

It wasn't very good. Around May or June I needed a motor for my pool and they were trying to say that my pool person was not telling the truth. It took months to do that. I missed the whole summer not having a pool because they wouldn't agree. I still haven't received my money with them. I don't think they treated me fairly because it could have been done in weeks but it took me 3 months.

I've had to use the warranty several times, one was the dryer and the other one was the air conditioner. They couldn't find anybody to work on my appliances so I had to get my own person. They ended up reimbursing me for that but you know it was a lot of trouble They're kinda useless.

I can tell you most of the time, the service men that they sent were not very knowledgeable or capable. Sometimes they just did not rebate me the way they were supposed to according to the papers. I do not like their service men and I will not renew my contract with them.

I chose them because they had a fair pricing, however I think the service is very poor. They always find a reason not to cover a claim. I've had that happen 3 times and each time it always takes the service provider a very long time to one, figure out what is actually wrong, and two, follow up. They always end up finding a reason not to cover my things, so they just give me a small check and I have to replace whole appliances.

They are the worst company I ever had to deal with. They have trouble finding repair people for my area, so the people that they send are very low caliber and don't know anything. If you have anything that's high end like subzero or bosch, they don't have people that can fix them. I'd say don't get them, don't sign up with them. Their repair people are very incompetent.

Whenever I called for any service, they would come up and find an excuse or something to say that the issue was not covered. They would not replace or fix anything. They never explained that thoroughly when I first bought the service. I guess in general they are ok, but there are so many issues that Choice Home Warranty won't cover. I was really close to canceling my service this month, but when I tried to cancel they said they'd just give me 6 or 7 hundred after I had paid $2,400 for 5 years of service.
