From my experience Choice has gone way downhill. The first time? Really good. This time? Total letdown. Three week ordeal when furnace was sporadic and it was 7 degrees outside. First repairman wouldn't come back to make repairs. Second? I Googled only to discover I couldn't find him then discovered he had no license and was coming out after 10PM. I hasd made close to 10 calls to Customer Service, did what I was told and ended up paying for everything myself. I'm not impressed with Choice. Unfortunately, I am with them till 2026 so we'll see how things go.

I would advise people to not purchase Choice Home Warranty. They provide limited customer service. I had to pay out of pocket for the heater because of the company Choice chose. I was without hear for three weeks. They decided not cover it in the end because it was not normal wear and tear according to them. Apparently they can not cover certain parts except it is not covered in their contract.

Used my warranty a couple of weeks ago because my dishwasher wasn’t working. It took three days for someone to come out. It took two days to get someone scheduled but that person wouldn’t come so we had to reschedule and they chose the worst contractor. It was a big mess.

They have an exit strategy for most claims. They have denied several of my claims (normal wear and tear), but then they "help" by covering a couple hundred dollars. They are not good and don't plan on them covering anything that's costly.

Because they did not replace my appliance. They did not send A contractor out to fix it again when it's not fixed so I paid $120 for it to be fixed and it is not fixed and my dishwasher my washing machine has been replaced and they only give me $300 and there's no washing machine that cost $300 there are 500 and up

The customer service was absolutely NOT THERE. I did NOT get a resolution to my appliance issue, and ended up buying a new washer without any recompense from Choice. I will NEVER recommend them to another person. They do not respond to emails, they do not answer their "customer service" phone line, and the contractors they hire do not recommend them, either. I have not even been able to reach anyone to end my contract, and/or receive a refund. How can it be THAT difficult to help their customers!?

The first time I used it was for my washing machine. The person they sent never got back to me, I waited three weeks to get my washing machine repaired they could not find anybody so I had to find someone myself. I only had one good experience. Most of the technicians tell me that choice home warranty doesn't want to pay for any good services so they don't recruit very good technicians.
