My furnace died, it took time for the technician to come, but when he did, he was ok. Realizing that there was nothing to do with the old furnace, he sent the report to Choice. From that time, it took another three weeks for the furnace to be replaced. I also had to add more than 500 dollars (on top of the call charge and the insurance itself). Next year I will find another company that works better or save the money and pay if I need to.

I purchased the home warranty in good faith. I had a claim and it's been a living nightmare. My oven range computer lights went out, they set an appointment , the tech came out I paid $85.00 service fee. The part is no longer available and they offered me $345 gift card and I refused because I need a range. After a month and a half they said best they would do is send me a check for $345.00. I am still on the hook for a range that cost minimum of $1500.00. I am very disappointed with the whole process. "Caveat emptor"

My refrigerator ice maker quit working. After you sent a repair man out 3 times and he couldn't repair it... i was told it wasent covered so you refused to replace the refrigerator. I asked to at least return my co payment and was told no. You didn't do that. This was the secont warranty i purchased from choice. But will not be a third. nd

So far I have a claim and it was approved but they will not approve to parts that are needed to get my heating system working. Going on 3 weeks now. I paid the $85 service fee for the company to come and fix the issue. Still have my heating system not working. I have updated the claim site and have called Choice Warranty and still waiting for heating to be fixed.

I've had a terrible experience with an ac replacement with Choice Home Warranty. For small things like a garbage disposal, they have been fine, but for larger appliances, they make it nearly impossible for them to pay for much. I would not recommend this home warranty company. You'd be better off finding a company that has fewer complaints through the Better Business Bureau.

I had to talk to three different people to explain something to me. My hot water heater cracked down on almost three weeks ago and I paid the 85 dollar fee and now I need a new water heater and I have to pay 400 dollars for it, so yeah I'm not happy with Choice at all.

I had two issues with my HVAC after having their coverage for a year + and although their technician said it was normal wear and tear no abuse, natural disaster or other excluded repair reasons, Choice denied BOTH. They even stopped communicating on the second repair not even directly advising me they were denying the claim. They are a horrible company and I was without heat from the end of December until February. I have cancelled my coverage and received a refund.

From my experience Choice has gone way downhill. The first time? Really good. This time? Total letdown. Three week ordeal when furnace was sporadic and it was 7 degrees outside. First repairman wouldn't come back to make repairs. Second? I Googled only to discover I couldn't find him then discovered he had no license and was coming out after 10PM. I hasd made close to 10 calls to Customer Service, did what I was told and ended up paying for everything myself. I'm not impressed with Choice. Unfortunately, I am with them till 2026 so we'll see how things go.
