Do not buy there warranty. They don’t do what they say they’ll do and the repair people they use are substandard. I’ve had nothing buttrouble with them. We wer not going to renew the policy with them last year because we were so unhappy with them but one of their sales people offered us poll and roof coverage free if we would renew. I just tried to file a claim for the roof and they say it’s not covered that we never paid for it. I don’t k ow about the other companies that are out there but Do your homework. Don’t go with Choice

I placed a claim request online. I called in to verify the claim giving the fact it was my first time doing one. The agent who answered was VERY rude. When I told him I wanted to confirm my claim request I did online he said "yeah it's in there!" I asked how did he know because he didn't ask for any identifying information from me such as name, address, or policy #. He yelled back "because you said you did."

I have a heater/exhaust fan in my bathroom. It went out and the electrician came out and said it couldn't be fixed so it needed to be replaced. Now Choice Home Warranty will not replace it with a Heater/Exhaust fan..they want to put a cheaper Exhaust fan only. ….that is the only heat that is in my bathroom. The last person I spoke with was rude and hung up on me. I need to speak to a Manager about this....everyone has gotten their money from me and I have not gotten good service from CHW....sorry that I picked this company.

The only experience has been to establish a policy. When I received an email stating the purpose was to establish the rate for 2019, I assumed it was in reference to my present account. When making the inquiry under the assumption concerning existing account I end up with a 2nd account on the same household. To the agent involved I don't know how he would have thought a 2nd account was necessary. His approach in attempting to sale the price on different pay plans was done in poor approach. I will be checking on your competitors to see if I get better service.

DO NOT USE THEM! They are scammers and not worth a penny. I bought a new home and got an inspection done. My Inspector didn’t find as issue with the Hot Water Heaters, I have two. One works fine, the other the pilot light is not staying on, so Home Choice Warranty send someone out, they said it needed to be replaced. Home Choice ( the scammers) won’t cover it, because it was not maintained properly. What a bunch of crap. No run from them. I’ll keep you posted on my lawsuit with them

I have coverage with home choice warranty and my overhead microwave broke down and I called them and they sent somebody to fix it and they charged me $45 and they said it has to be replaced and they said they will offer me $219 and it will not cover the microwave’s price it also doesn’t even cover half the price to replace it and I’m really disappointed in them

I will give Choice Home Warrant a 0 rating, but it won't let me. I was blatantly lied to by the sales agent to make a sale, probably hoping I would not fully read the exclusions. I attempted to reach out the the sales agent repeatedly through both phone and email to clarify his previous statements about coverage with no response. When I called to cancel this policy it took me over 30 min and 3 phone calls. I would not recommend this company.

No vendors in my area, Northern New Jersey want to work with this company, they stiff the vendors, the folks they get to come are usually handy men, not licensed plumbers or electricians. Recently requested service on my heating system, took over 1 week for them to find someone, so I got tired of being cold and called PSE&G, they came out the next day and fixed the problem. Next example a water leak , has taken over a week to find someone to respond, still not resolved, before you sign up please , remember buyer beware and this is not a good company!

You're asking for review and my dryer still is not fixed. Still waiting for Jump Start Appliance repair to come back with parts. Have not heard from him. I could have saved the annual Choice fee and called an independent repair company and have a working dryer by now. It has been more than 10 days since service requested. I probably will not renew this policy.

Made a claim on November 14th,2018 repairman man came the following week and said they would get back to me,they never did! Sent five messages on their website and got automated responses. Called three times and was lied to three times. Asked for their supervisors and they said they would send it to their automated response system. Oven still does not work! Their billing system works well they keep charging my credit card without missing a day. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

Terrible! on hold forever. I have no heat in my bedrooms and the heating guy comes without a thermostat? Really? Then my pipes need to be blead but he’s not sure if that’s covered or if he should do it or a plumber? I have no heat still, he tells me to keep the doors open?!?! Really? Every technician I get has no clue about anything and on top of it Choice never pays for anything! Bottom line I stil have no heat in the bedrooms!

The worst warranty company out there my central air compressor went bad and the tech said it should cover because the coils were cleaned regularly and all the maintenance was done, They denied the claim and the A/C man said they do that on a regular basis. So I canceled them and had to replace the compressor at my cost. DON'T USE CHOICE HOME WARRANTY!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

Choice has been the hardest home warranty company we have ever worked with. No claim is easy, because there are so many requirements to meet first. It seems as if Choice does everything possible to make it hard to file a claim. Our plumbing company has had such a bad experience that they no longer will do contracts if Choice is involved. It's been the most expensive nonhelpful warranty company ever!

The guy came to work on my dryer said he put in a thermostat but the dryer still not working properly it gets warm but takes 2 to three hours to dry one small load of clothes, he said something about the exhaust may be stopped up about Didn't unstop it, not satisfied at all still can't dry clothes

I am a current customer of Choice Home Warranty. I am on day 4 of no heat in Northern Illinois in December. They still have not even assigned a technician to come out and look at my furnace. Everytime I call they ask me to be patient and give them more time, but they can't even give me any names of companies that they work with near me. I believe they sold me a policy knowing that they didn't have any technicians in my area. I have been told I could hire my own technician and if they fill out the paperwork correctly and it is approved then they may reimburse me in 30 days

My experiences with choice have been less than satisfactory. As there contractors advise they make it difficult to make you whole again. I have carried 3 polices for 3 different properties and have been continuesly disappointed. particulary with HVAC refusals even though i provided maintenance records. I will be canceling all plans. They mislead you. If you need HVAC coverage you will be dissappointed. They patch and repair with expected contributions from you. but the do not pay for replacment.

these people talked me into buying 3 yrs up front to save money. They said if I sold my house I would either get a refund of the unused premium or I could transfer the policy. Every time I filed a claim, they gave me a hard time about getting the problem resolved. I stopped going through them. When I sold the house, the new owners didn't want the policy. I called for a refund and they told me I wouldn't get any money back bc I had filed claims. What is the point of insurance it that is the outcome?????

What's the point of these Home Warranty Companies? They deny almost every claim I put in. They won't fix my hot water heater because they said it needs to be cleaned. The mechanic that came out said the thermocouple is bent. I wish they would just fix it. My refrigerator has a leak that isn't coming from the water line. My dad is a plumber and the water line is fine. They won't cover someone coming out because they don't fix issues with the water line. I would be better off putting my monthly fee in a savings account.

Terrible experience, I had to cancel my two contracts within the first month for my rental properties due the slow responsiveness and the bad service provided by Choice, their technical service were more focus to look for ways to void the claims rather than fix the problems and at the end I had to paid from my pocket for the systems repair costs plus their service fees, and now I have been struggling for more than 30 days to get my cancellation refunds.

I will never go back to them. Choice Home Warrenty is the worst Warrenty company that I have ever had. One year I put in a claim for my heater and they told me that parts that were broke they didn’t cover it so I had to take my own money and replace me whole heating unit in my house. The other claim that I put in was the last when my refrigerator compressor went down and I was told they can’t fix it and they are not replacing it so I had to spend my money and buy a new refrigerator. They are the worst.

waisted money, time and patience. two different companies agreed that my boiler was unsafe to operate. the company they assigned the claim to stated it was too old and had begun to lose insulation and the burners were at risk. choice completely refused the claim and appeal stating it doesn't cover rust or corrosion which is exactly what makes older boilers unsafe over time.

I would give CHW a zero. I have submitted several claims only to have them denied. When I could get them to send out a repair person I found it would take several days, the repair person would be unfamiliar with the repair, or unqualified to fix the specific repair. I had a pool problem and they sent a Heating and Plumbing repair person who didn’t repair pool equipment. I had them try to send a repair person from New Jersey. I live in Pennsylvania two hours away. I attempted to cancel my policy only to get stuck get passed from one person to the next.

I called CHW within 24 hours to cancel my policy and to get a refund on my credit card. I was told it would take up to two weeks for the refund. It has been over two weeks. I called and was told the refund is still in process. It states in Section L of the Warranty there is a $50 charge for cancellation. We'll see what they charge for the cancellation. I'm going to contact the Attorney General's Office and file a complaint against CHW if this is not done in the next 48 hours.

BEWARE OF CHOICE HOME WARRANTY if you think they will over your AC. Recently, my AIR CONDITIONER relay went out and was temporarily replaced by the AC company that Choice Home Warranty (CHW) sent out. They took back the part after they discovered the motor was also bad and the claim was denied due to debris. DEBRIS appears to be a big loop hole for CHOICE HOME WARRANTY as they WILL NOT COVER THE AIR CONDITINERS MOTOR and REFUSED TO REPLACE THE AIR CONDITIONER. If you live in ARIZONA or any place with HABOOBS or dust storms, Do you not count on trust CHOICE HOME WARRANTY to be fair.

The last time I use your company vendors for my needs where not reliable and cause more headaches then it was worth it. Vendor quoted me a price and I paid it and the told my wife price double. In all our circulation of air diminished greatly. Now it seems everyday I get an email to come join Choice and how great you are better then the next. Unless your base here in South Texas and truly know good reliable vendors to best serve your customers your just another service company selling dreams.

Not happy. My dishwasher broke, so I put a claim it online. The tech came out and told me that they would most likely replace the unit because the motor was shot. The next day I get a email saying congratulations that the processed my claim and they were offering me 179. I called and eventually talked to someone that offered me 279. That still doesn’t fix the problem!! I’m on disability and my funds are real tight.

I had an issue with when the service tech diagnosed the problem with my appliance and had the part approved to proceed . He was informed that even though he had the correct part in stock , he had to wait for Chw to ship him the part so I had to wait an additional 3 to 5 business days. When I tried to call to get it done with the part the tech had , the customer service manager suggested that Igo to the laundermat . I will be cancelling my service .

Very convincing when I signed and when I needed service I was told that they couldn’t find anyone to accept them so I needed to find a plumber, pay for it and send them the bill. After talking to several plumbing businesses I found out the reason Choice couldn’t find a plumber. They don’t pay their bills. I was told They had a no questions asked cancellation policy. After 2 years I still haven’t received anything for my cancellation. Don’t buy from them.
