One big issue I have with Choice Home Warranty is that you do not allow your contractors to replace with like items. I just had to have one of my garage door openers replaced. I have two and they are belt driven Craftsman's 1/2 HP. When the contractor told me that Choice would not let them replace it with a Craftsmen because it would be an upgrade. I called Choice and they told me there was nothing they could do, they only allow standard replacements. They did say I could pay the difference which would have been 125.00. This is totally unacceptable. What is my 66.00 a month paying for?

Easy to file claim & great communication from Choice and then to the specific company! The service member came out the next day and was able to resolve the issue quickly. I have had 3 HVAC people look at the unit and NONE were able to resolve my issue! I am a new customer to Choice Home Warranty and I could not be happier!

The service Technician that came out was great. The biggest problem is you did not pay enough to replace my Microwave equivalent to what I had. I shopped around the the cheapest I could find cost me $250. You state you would allow $191.00. This is not right. Paying the $45.00 service call plus I had to pay to have it installed so I feel as though you really did not allow me anything. I tried to talk with my case manager with little excess and she would not let me speak to anyone else say thing they would say the same thing. Anyway, I got a new one at a cost of $250. LG 1764 ST.

Nathan laid out all of the options and plans available for discount like a deal for veteran's like myself and I chose a 3 year plan plus 6 months free (42 Mo. ) total.

Over the years I have had choice, there service has continued to improve. I have had three recent claims and they have all been handled very well. From the customer service, to the claims manager in one case, to the technician that made the repair. All have done a great job. Warranty companies often have poor feedback, Choice is NOT one of those bad companies. They have been stepping up their came and are a good company to work with.

I like that they cover everything I could possibly need fixed or new. I cannot afford the current prices to have someone come out and living in a manufactured home also makes it harder to find people who will even service us. I didn't like the seemingly preprogrammed sales pitch. They should sound more natural, not like they are reading a script. Reminded me of the old used car sales pitches.

I was assigned an account specialist after my service payment was denied. I spoke with her and she gave me a way that she would approve payment. I acted on her advice and Choice sent another repairman. His repair order was once again denied and I was told to speak with a specialist, who happened to be the same person I negotiated with the first time. Once again I faced the vicious cycle of contacting the specialist before my repair would be authorized. I have contacted her via voicemail and e-mail, so once again I am waiting for her reply. It is obvious Choice Home does not read the notes from the history very well. So now, I am waiting for the specialist to reply to my voicemail and e-mail.

Although it took awhile to receive the call back due to covid. They still were able to come within 48 hours. The service was amazing and the contractor that came out was so nice. Very safe with masks on, gloves and social distancing present. Would recommend !

My first experience with Choice Home Warranty was not a good one (AC unit). I had to call a technician who repaired my unit in two hours. My second experience is better than the first. It is 1:38 pm 1/26/21 the plumber is scheduled to complete the job at 2:15 pm.

I file a claim and CHW finds and scheduled the technician to do the repairs. Initially the claim was denied but after I contacted them and made my point they reviewed the claim and approved the repair. The technician said that he felt CHW was definitely one of the best in the industry. I agree.

I’m so impressed! So much better than my years with AHS! The tech was knowledgeable and took time explaining the diagnosis and the process for claims. The claims approval was fast which allowed the tech to start working immediately. A second visit is needed but, so far so good!

We have needed their help twice in three years. First time came off without a hitch. Most recently the first technician scheduled never showed up, nor did the call to update us on their arrival...plus their voicemail cache was full. So no one could contact. Choice rescheduled for us and the second one did not show up as scheduled. When I contacted them the said the tried to call but had the numbers trans posed. When the technician arrived, finally, he was great.

The quality of technicians you send out to do repairs needs your immediate attention. The work order was placed 12/22/20. The tech was scheduled to come out 12/28/20. I lost a lot of food due to my freezer not working. He was to arrive between 7am to 11 am, didn't show up until 6:30 pm. He pulled the refrigerator and diagnosed it having no freon. Communication between tech and CHW was terrible. After my numerous calls to the tech and CHW, another technician was dispatched - arriving 1/6/21. This tech was incredible - found the problem and made the repairs. Thank you Total Solution A/C & Refrigeration Service.

The company itself seems to be pretty good after doing some research online. The only issue I have is the sales people are a bit pushy. The person I spoke with wanted me to buy a 5 year or 3 year plan. I told him that I have had a bad experience with a home warranty company and would like to try it out for just a year. He went from being pleasant and nice to being short. He basically ended our conversation by saying. "Fine, just know the rate may go up next year. Your contract will now be processed." The other issue is I was told you don't take American Express, but if I get the 5 year plan you would accept it. I hate to say it, but I hope the service is better than the sales.

The repair man came right out,not a long wait,he did a good job,no leaks and was nice.The only thing i'm not happy with was that he replaced a $150 insinkerator top of the line garbage disposer with a $47 wasteking garbage disposer.I hope it works and lasts because it looked like a toy compared to my old one.I thought he should of replaced the old one with a new one as of the same value of the old one,I don't want to be DOWNGRADED when ever I have to use your service!!!Also I did NOT get a receipt,I would like one!!!!!!!!

Customer service reps are pleasant but it took over 24 hours to get a technician out to me when my heat went out and I asked if it could be a higher priority but I was told all claims are treated the same. It was cold in my home with no heat and that wasn't enough for them to move my ticket to a higher priority. I wasn't pleased with that part. However, the tech that was sent to my home to repair my furnace was nice, professional and completed the job in a short time.

I was able to start my claim online and it literally took two minutes. It was a Sunday and I had my appointment scheduled Wednesday for this coming week. I had to push it out one day because it wasn’t convenient with my schedule but I was impressed with how quickly I had a technician scheduled to come out and fix my problem.
