We recently became customer's of Smith Thompson Home Security. We were looking for a less expensive service than the one we had been using and wanted a wireless system. I called this company after seeing ads in local print media. Their pricing seemed quite reasonable. After speaking to a polite and knowledgeable representative, I made an appointment to have their system put in our home. The installer arrived promptly for his appointed time and removed our old system, installing the new. He was patient, answered all our questions and was careful not to leave any mess. He even neatly boxed up the old system we were recycling! He trained us quickly on their equipment and left a "cheat sheet" in case we forgot anything. We were pleased with the ease and professionalism of the install and are happy with the monitoring service.

First and foremost, they had the most competitive price on the market. Secondly, they were able to use my existing equipment which was one of the main things that I was looking for. And lastly, they were on time, very courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. The technician was in and out in less than an hour. And given the current pandemic, he wore a face mask, show coverings and kept a safe distance the whole time. I highly recommend Smith Thompson for all of your home security needs.

Had a late afternoon appointment, Installer called to ask if he could come early! Awesome! Waited for me to carry my groceries in. Very courteous, knowledgeable, patient and efficient! In and out! I’ve had two alarm occurrences in the last 30 days! I forget because the old company, ADwhatever, never responded. Smith Thompson called me within 30 seconds! Great company!

We have really loved our experience with Smith Thompson. We were able to get a new system installed. We called on a Wednesday and a technician was able to get to our house that weekend. The technician called us when he was 30 minutes away, called before he knocked on the door, and set up our security system in under an hour. We really appreciated how detailed the technician was in his explanation on what our security system entailed, and answered all the questions we had. Very excited about our security system.

I have had Smith Thompson now for 7 years . I have wireless motion sensors and wireless open sensor on garage door and is a heavy duty large so if the door moves in the wend system will not go off all was recommended by the installer and no wiring had to be added. I do self test every month which everyone should do no matter the security system you have only once had to do a reset caused by lightning strikes and a power surge. I like that they give you the option to pay once a year and give a discount of one month for doing this for the price you cant beat even with cameras.

We recently moved to the area from Pennsylvania and one of our new neighbors recommended Smith Thompson Home Security to monitor our alarm. We are not disappointed at all in the quick response, service to install, start up, and in the professional manner Shawn explained everything to us. I'm very impressed that there is no contract, and if you are not satisfied you can just cancel the service. Did I mention they price? It is a bargain!

Where to start. First off, the monthly monitoring price is the best in the industry. From the first time I made contact with Smith Thompson to the time the technician left my home following install, my experience was stellar. The salespeople are super friendly, the tech was great and very detailed when showing me how the entire system worked. And the few times I have inadvertently set the alarm off, the call center contacts me immediately with genuine concern. I can't say enough good things about this company and will be a customer for life!

I was very happy with the technician that activated the system in my new house. He was very friendly and did the job quickly. Smith Thompson is the best deal out there for monitoring. At $16.95 a month, there is not another company that comes close. They have good service too. Had a false alarm just the other day, and their call came in under ten seconds. Very glad I chose Smith Thompson.

Do not use Smith Thompson, All they care about is trying to get more money out of you and every answer is you need a technician, and 5 of 5 five times this has been a lie. Any issue I have had has been on the company side or a simple software setting. All that can be done remote.
