The service is great. I've been having trouble with my front door camera since the installment. No techs came out to fix the issue. They just waste my time on the phone resetting everything in my house. It's on my credit so I have no choice but to deal with it.

I have the Vivint doorbell camera, home security hub, 2 glass breaks, and smoke detector. The doorbell camera goes offline almost 50% of the time someone is detected which basically makes it useless. I have called and have not gotten help resolving the issue. I even increased my internet to see if that was the issue and it is not. The reaction time for detecting someone on the camera is also very delayed. I sometimes don’t get notification about a detection until they are walking away. After 1 month of installation I had both of the batteries of my glass breaks indicate low battery and need to be replaced. I did get a credit to my account to replace the battery but I think it’s ridiculous that the batteries barely lasted 30 days. I would not recommend these products to anyone.

Sales rep was not honest in presenting comparable service to our existing security system. Had I known Vivint was not able to provide at a minimum the same service and product I would not have switched. Also, the sales rep led us to believe he would make right the misrepresentation and has ignored numerous messages sent in regards to the issue and never resolved it. We had to pay for the cancellation of our previous service because it was done mid billing cycle (which the sales rep said he would take care of), we were left with 2 non working panels he said he would replace, the cameras do not work with alexa show, even though the website specifically says "say alexa show me front porch camera". VERY dissatisfied! Will NOT recommend and will cancel as soon as we are no longer under contract for equipment payment if possible.

This is probably been the worse experience with a service company ever. Initial install did not get completed when we rescheduled for someone to come back out to complete the person that was sent was unable to complete the install. After calling back a third time and threatening to turn the equipment back in someone finally came out and finished the install. connectivity has been subpar with outdoor cameras. After instillation was finally complete we thought we were on the road to some normality only to realize that our bill was completely screwed up. something that we were promised at first by the initial installer was not something that was added to our bill. When we contacted the company to have this fixed we realized then that and extra 900 dollars was added to our bill and the person on the phone stated that in the note we told the installer that we were going to put a deposit of this down which was completely false. to say the least this has been a complete nightmare of a process. i would never recommend this service to anyone

The initial install was rushed and several things needed to be fixed. They were fixed in a promptly manner once I gave them a call. So far the service has been great. I am not sure the equipment deserves the high price tag I paid for it though.

It’s a decent alarm system. My only gripe is the alarm is not loud enough, the cameras lag to much when trying to watch video, and the representative that initially came was not straight forward and honest on explaining billing and credit card association to the contract.

We’ve had ups and downs with Vivent so far. Our instal experience was less than ideal but we are liking the products we have. Promises have not been followed through on since the beginning, but we feel more secure with a security system in our home. It’s a double edged sword.

Definitely not happy. I don’t like their customer service. They have admitted they have lied. Saying people are scheduled to come out when they are not is a blatant lie. I missed two days of work because of their lies. My system was not properly installed and it took over three weeks to get them to properly install it. My home was not secure but I was paying for it. I am unable to ge.t out of my contract

I am having trouble getting through to support because the phone line waits are so long. I need to get a hold of people to find out why some of the promises have not come true. It seems to be working but the sales representative should be honest and not promise things that are not going to happen. I am being billed double.

Vivint is not as expected, the cameras go offline more often than at the beginning, have to change batteries on the sensors after 3 months, I had to make it convenient for the installer to put the cameras where he wanted it to not where I wanted them to. Once you locked in the contract is not much you can do.

Overall not positive. We are being charged more monthly than the sales rep said. I even have proof through texts of costs, but vivint has not honored it. Also we get a ton of false alarms. It makes us not even want to set our alarm system anymore. I am disappointed in the company for these reasons. The quality of their products seemed genuinely amazing and I fought my husband for them over ADT. Needless to say we are upset at how everything has been handled thus far. Just being honest!

With the camera, I wish they would include more area but I still feel secure with system I have. I can see everything that goes on in most of my front. I feel well protected.

The installation process could be a little cheaper but it seems like it is going to work out. I like that the house is locked up and secure. They answer most questions quickly.

I really like the system. Easy to use. The installer was personable. But, he turned off my heat when installing my thermostat. And, never came back after I asked. Heat is till off. And his ladder scratched my brand new paint job on exterior of house
