Unbelievable. I am super happy with this company & products. From the first phone call to the last it was a great journey for us. The alarm system works great with all the smart home equipment, everything is controlled from my app and you can do it from any smart device and from everywhere, so convenient & easy to use. The camera system is awesome, we are happy we upgraded to the small starlight PTZ cameras, I like the way you can control the cameras from the app and the picture is phenomenal. Great work, great customer service, phenomenal products.

Installed 5 years ago; called in for assistance twice and spoke with Andrew the most competent customer service rep that I have ever encountered. Minor issues were quickly resolved regarding battery change at two year intervals. Fantastic product super fantastic customer support.

Recently we had our front & back door replaced and needed to have the new ones rewired for the alarm to work. I called Smart Shield and they came in just 3 hours and rewired both the doors and now my alarm system is working perfectly fine. Thanks guys.

My favorite part about smart shield systems is their customize and build your security system process. There you can click through exactly what you would like to have in your system and the website creates it for you with a price. That way you are only paying for the things that you need.

From start to finish - extremely unprofessional, terrible customer service and overpriced. I paid a lot of money to have cameras put in all around my home. The installer was creepy; he left bits of wiring, plastic, trash all over my house and even found one of his tools; and he removed the insulation in the attic to put in wiring but then never put the insulation back (which was discovered after we were constantly having to run our heater and spending tons of money do so). The cameras were accessible through an app on my phone, but then I got a new phone and it turns out that my account was not set up properly and was not linked to my email and had no way to access my cameras anymore. I called, got transferred and run around through various departments and then finally got emailed back and told that they would come back out for $95. I said that it wasn't right that I had to pay for them to fix their own mistake and they just never responded to me. I wrote again and still nothing. Terrible customer support or lack thereof!

I had Smart Shield Systems install 6 cameras at my home in Lake Elsinore. I asked for two in the front of my house, 2 on the side of my house at my gates, and 2 at the back of my home. The technicians installed 2 at the front of my home and 4 at the back of my home. This cost me 3,800+ dollars. The original quote was only 3000. They then told me it would be an additional 700 dollars to move 2 of the cameras at the back of my house over to the gates on the side of my house where I had asked them to be. My advice for anyone looking to use this company is make sure everything you want is in writing, and detailed. Ron the owner told me on the phone that his technicians would put the cameras exactly where I wanted them, but this never happened.
