This company sold my 76 year old brother a system. He was never able to connect it in the FIVE YEARS he has had it. We have called this company 10 times since February to cancel his contract. To date, it has not happened. His contract states that he can cancel it after 5 years by sending a letter to the company. This is DECEPTIVE because it does not provide an address, nor is there one provided on the website under contacts. He is now 81 and moving into assisted living. What the hell are we supposed to do?

I moved over a year ago. Still haven't been able to get them to change my address all year so if I ever needed the services they wouldn't be going to my place of residence..... I've called on numerous occasions requesting the buy out of the account and keep getting the run around. They wont tell me over the phone because it's not "allowed". They have no record of any of my payments now that another company takes care of the payments. I recommend not getting involved with Fluent. This company is a joke. Not impressed being lied to.

Not happy with this alarm security system it's always faulty when they changed there name they didn't send us an updated system nothing then told us we had to pay for shipping for the new one and whoever put our system in didn't put it in right cause it's falling or breaking off we have door sensors and the one piece broke off and is gone I tryed to contact them and noone reply back im not paying for a part that broke off cause it wasn't my fault

Equipment has been crap. Always an issue. The worst part is trying to get out of my contract. I’ve been trying and trying for months and months. Keep getting the run around. Won’t give me my buy out for my contract and won’t even tell me if there is still a contract. Been asking for months and months. Spent many hours on the phone trying to get it and always get some bs excuse of why they can’t. Tell me it can only be mailed but again; been waiting months for it as money still keeps coming out of my account. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

Stay away from this company, they scammed me out of over $2000. My alarm has never worked, they have no techs to send out to fix your equipment, I finally got a hold of customer support support after five hours of dropped calls from them, just for them to tell me that my account is deactivated. They just took money out of my account three days ago, I asked why it was deactivated, she told me she couldn’t tell me. I have never felt more scammed in my entire life. Do not skip over my review, take it as 100% fat, and stay away from this company.

BTW I PRESSED ONE STAR. IF THERE WAS (0) available, they would have gotten that!Awful! I have called and called for repair on shoddy intallation, repeat false alarms, To no avail. Finally request to cancel service....to no avail. They say I signed a five year contract. If it doesn't work and is not installed properly and I can not get anyone to answer the repair line to have soneone assigned to fix the problem.....SMH #unprofessional #dontdoit

Constant problems with this company. The salesman was not honest is what the system could and could not do. I have an outbuilding where I store a classic car. It is 125 feet from the home. I was told that the alarm could extent that far and cover the windows, doors and even provide a remote keypad there. Wrong! Nothing but malfunctions and false alarms. There tech support suggested I move either the main panel in the home or the outbuilding so it is within 75 feet. So either I move the house or the remote garage 50 feet to get the system to work. Worthless.

A very pushy/disrespectful Fluent sales rep just was at my door. I told him twice I was not interested in their service due to my financial situation. Then on the way out he sees my dog and proceeds to ask what his name is? how long I've had him? Do you love your dog? Then with a nod and a smirk asks what my dog will do in a fire? Trying to make a sale on someone's emotions after being told twice that I am not interested. Shady sales tactics and just downright disrespectful.

Worst possible company I have ever been involved with. Wont answer calls, had a break in and had to call police myself. I can’t say for sure, I don’t believe anyone was monitoring my home. Still wanted me to pay 80% left on contract, I said I’m not paying u anything for the nothing you provide. Dealing with them (was and is still ongoing,) the worst experience of my life. If I could give a minus star I would. I don’t usually do reviews, but be mindful, they only want your money.

Ordered and paid for outdoor camera ($499.) at initial installation. Never received or refunded even after many phone calls, etc. Cancelled our service after approx. 7 years of mediocre service , by written letter yet Fluent has continued billing, now for more than a year.. receiving continual threatening letters. Have contacted them numerous times yet no end to the harassments! One of the worst Security companies out there! Steer clear to avoid all the headaches I have gone through!! This company is a complete scam...

Absolutely terrible alarm company. Faulty equipment with non existent service department. Can’t reach anyone to discuss. When I cancelled contract was threatened by manager( said our account would be ‘ targeted’). Keeps sending invoices when I want to pay to get out of contract and still they can’t manage this. Wouldn’t even take faulty equipment out of our home. All started when equipment malfunctioned and took over one hour response time! Beware they do not protect your home. Use local like Sask tel or Telus as at least you get service with them.

Hidden contracts for ridiculous lengths of time, and 80% cancelation fees. Absolutely criminal! Terrible customer service when dealing with faulty sensors and panels. They refuse to send repair men out to assist you with any technical problems, and expect you to do everything yourself. You're paying $50 a month for no actual services. Even when the alarm is going off in your house while you're away, they fail to even send the police over to check on the place! What am I paying them for? Complete waste of money.

We had a fluent security system for about 7 yrs. A horrible company to deal with. Subgrade components. Everytime the power went out the system malfunctioned. Even after a supposed upgrade!When you tried to call to talk to a human the answers were always different. To try to get out of the "contract" after we sold our house was next to impossible to do. Do waste your money!!

I called Fluent because I wanted to cancel my security. They told me to email support@fluenthome.com to cancel which I did. I emailed them on December 4th asking them to cancel my plan and now it's December 8th(3 business days) and still no answer. I emailed them a second and third time as well. Can't wait to see how long I'll have to wait to get this horrible security sytem unnistalled. Horrible customer service: It's non-existent.

This is the worst security company, they would anythingo sell you their product, they lied and they have the worst costumer service, when we first got it, we were thinking about selling the house, they said once we sold it that we could terminate the contract, once we sold it they said no, but we could transfer it, once we said yes to transfer it they said it but 100 to get the equipment from the house and 100 more to installed it, they are nightmare.

Basically it sucks....i have been a customer for 4 years and we have had absolutely nothing but problems with our cameras....we have done all the trouble fixing, called several times still it doesn't record anything but when it wants to, however we get notifications all day and night I pay 65$ a month, never missed a payment for absolutely crappy equipment and customer service

I live in Lithonia Georgia. Someone came to my home while I was about to leave and came back. The bottom line is that I was told I signed a 5 year contract (which a contract never was talked about). Basically with doing the math I’m STUCK with a 5 year contract paying 62.00 a month. ($3720 total over time). So yes I’m STUCK in a BS contract. I told them they are holding me captive for 5 years. Advise to you go to Home Depot or Lowe’s and install your own alarm. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️ I went from paying $110.00 a year to a mess. NEVER AGAIN.

Do not switch to this company!! They are unethical and tell lies about buying out Brinks and other security companies. The salesman, Michael M stopped by my house, unannounced with a high-pressure sales pitch, based on lies. They did not cancel the other company, so I was double billed for 3 months. The technician just cut the other company’s lines. Now I have to take legal action to get out of a 5 year contract. They are preying on the elderly!! Beware!

DO NOT waste your money on this company worst company I have ever dealt with. Put Fluent Security in Aug in 2 different homes and security has not worked at the one home since I've got it. I've done nothing but fight with these guys I've talked to 3 different MANAGERS and nothing. They are BRUTAL. All i get is ma'am please pay your account but lets not fix whats wrong. Why should i pay for something that has not worked since day one but i do i have been paying every month cause it my credit not theres. WORST company ever . DONOT get pulled in like the rest of us suckers did

I am so glad I read the reviews. The rep came to my home and said he is a tech servicing the old Vivint systems. I no longer used my vivint systems and he said he would get it back running and I would no longer owe Vivint and can start over with a plan with them. I could not get a understanding of what he was trying to do, so I told him to come back in 30 minutes and googled the company. Lord I see now he was about to switch me to a whole new company’s system!

I would give this negative stars! Do not give any of their reps any info! They run a hard inquiry on your credit! Doesn't help when you're working to improve your credit to buy a house! So pissed off that they didn't disclose the fact that they would run a credit check just to give you a quote! Definitely finding a different security company when I buy my house! Don't believe the reviews the reps pull up to show you on their phones. Do your own research. Still pissed about that credit check a month later!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Do yourself a favor.. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GARBAGE COMPANY!! The customer service is HORRIBLE. The equipment, HORRIBLE. The door bell camera is ran through a phone call. If you are on a call it wont work. If the door bell is pushed, it takes a few minutes to even connect. When I'm at work, I cant even see any of my cameras, they wont connect. Yet, they say its my wifi. Well Vivint did NOT have this issue. EVERYONE at my work is with Vivint and they can connect just fine. PLEASE, don't make the same mistake as many of us. DONT SIGN UP!

No one living in the premises and I tried to cancel. It is not being used and there is nothing of value in the house. They will insist on me paying for the entire 36 months which is over two thousand dollars. I am working through my bank to stop payment. They told me to move it from Sask. to Ab with me. I have security here for half the price, why then would I move it.
