Nice to have all the access in one place. Not nice to have a single company essentially monopolizing the security system market. Not able to complain about App issues directly to Alarm.com - only through your local service provider/partner who doesn't typically have backend programming access to a third-party app.. Recording rules and sensitivity are often useless (weather like rain or snow = always recording/setting off alerts unless turned off - that's great for security...), other things maybe reflective will continuously set it off and use up all your data uploads, even if you have settings to prevent this. Quality of partners is entirely random. Quality of hardware is not great. Doorbell camera is terrible (we have been through two and they still don't work properly).
