Wayfair offers customers 11 different categories to shop through which include furniture, décor, lighting, kitchen, bed and bath, storage, outdoor, home improvement, baby and kids, pets, luggage, game room, exercise and fitness, housekeeping and laundry, and health and home mobility products. Wayfair provides customers promotions and discounts throughout their website. Their sales tab features products from each category which can be discounted as much as 70% off. They feature daily sales on their site that become available at 12 pm ET and are available for purchase for a limited time. Daily sales and other discounted products are featured on their home page making it easy to locate discounted items. Customers of Wayfair are able to select several different delivery options for large items which include curbside (you unload), curbside (they unload), front door drop off, inside entryway, room of choice and packaging removal, and full service delivery and assembly. Delivery is made as easy as possible for the customer through Wayfair.com. Wayfair also offer customers a no hassle return policy. Any item may be returned without a receipt within 30 days of purchase. Once the item has been returned and inspected, customers may expect a return credit within 24 hours. Wayfair currently hosts websites in 4 different countries. Customers can purchase items in the UK, Germany, Canada, and the United States.

The Bad

  • Warranty information difficult to find
While there is much to like about Wayfair, there are a few glitches which became apparent in our investigation. The website uses tabs on the FAQ and on each item's pages. These do not always work as designed and the only way that our reviewers could get the information to come up in the display was to close the tab and reopen it. This happened 6/10 times in a random sampling of pages. It can be difficult to locate some other information on Wayfair.com. For example, we could not find any product warranty information through Wayfair.com. Customers may need to contact customer service to request warranty information for specific products.

So I finally purchased my daughter a twin size bed (😭😭😭) a few weeks ago through Wayfair. It arrived within the week I ordered it. It was easy to assemble and at the time I was very pleased with my purchase especially for the price! I realized after looking at it last night, there were tears in the headboard. I contacted Wayfair via email today and received a call within minutes from customer service. He was not only willing to send me a new bed, he offered 20% off of that purchase. Told me I could donate or keep the bed. Customer service went above and beyond. I just wanted to share my experience with you in case you are looking for a nice,affordable bed with a company that clearly cares for their customers.

Wayfair is like Amazon meets Ikea. Their prices go up and down, they will have the same piece of furniture with the same photographs... named and priced differently, and everything feels a little "made in china", but, having said that, their customer service is excellent. I've ordered 3 pieces of flat pack (build it yourself) furniture. With each item, everything was incredible well made, but there was something off, like holes not drilled, or instructions missing a rather crucial part, and in one a panel was completely snapped in half. However their customer service is easy to use, fast and efficient, and every quirk was resolved resulting in a finished and really beautiful product, that looks a lot more expensive than it was. Would I buy machinery from here... not sure, but for household furniture and fixtures, totally recommend!

Mayfair offers a huge selection in their giant store locations. Their website is also huge with an ever-changing inventory. At Wayfair the price is always right. It's hard to believe that other stores charge so much when Wayfair does the opposite. I like the variety, and they have so many price points that I can always find something within my budget. Styles are fresh and current. and they only sell quality products. I am always impressed with the store staff as they are very helpful.

Have ordered quite a few pieces from them. Being on a budget, I like the fact that they have frequent sales and they will highlight items you've looked at in the past when they go on sale. I also had a glitch once with delivery of a piece that got lost in transit somewhere. Can no longer recall specifics, but they were wonderful resolving the issue!!

My first purchase from Wayfair was an area rug and it was very good quality. The updates on tracking were just about very day and I received it today which was estimated date. I believe this is a great place to buy online without having to worry if I made a mistake. They are a good reputable company and I read the reviews before I purchased and they were all positive.

An exterior door knob I had ordered for my daughter’s home locked her out at 1am with no keys, phone or tools. When the sun came up she went to a neighbor (daughter is new to neighborhood, which is not the safest) & called a locksmith ($75) to get her into her home. I related the story to Wayfair team member when asking for a refund on the defective knob and they refunded all of the knobs I had purchased which much more than covered the locksmith fee. They are compassionate and amazing! And I am not a huge purchaser!

I have nothing but praise for Wayfair. I have ordered thousands of dollars of rugs, lamps, a shower, chandeliers, tables, bedding...you name it. Everything came when they told me it would. One piece that was damaged was immediately replaced. Their Customer Service department is exceptional! Everyone who seems my home wants to know where I shop. I don't hesitate to promote Wayfair.

I have just bought some new pans for my new induction hob, the service was very good , as we had a problem with one of the pans, and as soon as we contacted Wayfair about this , they where wright onto getting us another pan. So I think there service is VERY good, and they where very understanding and sorry for the problem, we have bought a lot of things from Wayfair and have been very pleased, top marks, 100% .

Bought a Lucia console table from Wayfair. It arrived a day earlier than promised (great) and was easy to assemble. It was the perfect size for the intended spot. I like the finish of the table but unfortunately there was a noticeable gouge on the top shelf. I Thought about returning it, but didn’t want the bother. I am disappointed Wayfair (or third party) did not Properly inspect the product before shipping it to me. There was no damage to the box so gouge was done before shipping. Their customer service was outstanding I ordered furniture for my house and I was having a party and it was guaranteed to be at my house on a certain date and then it got pushed back a week and by then I already got rid of all my furniture. They gave me a discount on the furniture I bought and offered to pay for the rental.

The price was great, the product was a good value and quality. But, the shipping company they used was a nightmare. They didn't show up when they stated they would and left the item beat up and damaged on my porch when they had been instructed not to do that. If I were going to order a large item from Wayfair again, I would need assurance that they were going to use a different shipping company. They did issue a 50% refund and I kept the damaged item, but I would rather have had it arrive undamaged and at the time it had been scheduled.

Purchased the wrentham barrel chair I was very happy with the look. I decided to wipe down the wood with a damp cloth and the amount of dirt that came off was insane my cloth was black and it's not completely level a bit wobbly how disappointing! This chair on the sight was at regular price over a thousand dollars but they have it listed for half price in my opinion this chair is definitely not worth a thousand and not worth five hundred. I would expect something at that price range to be in top condition not to mention I forgot to add in there was a nail slightly sticking out along the side of the chair. What's wrong with this is you cant buy anything anymore with quality!!

I’ve purchased a lot of items from Wayfair without any problems. Three weeks ago I ordered an Alcott Hill Corte comforter set, which is clearly a mint color. When it arrived, it was a different product, VI New York, sage green, and called them. After many phone calls and texts we decided I should try again to order the Alcott Hill Corte that I wanted. But I got the exact same WRONG item. No one has helped me get what I want. Customer Service has been horrible in this case. How can you order one brand and get something completely different TWICE?? So I guess I’m never going to get what I want! Apparently these two brands have the same SKU number!

Purchased a tv stand. Great price. I love it. FedEx left it in the rain and there was water damage. Tried to file a claim and it was denied by FedEx. Wrote Wayfair asking if there was anything they could do. They replaced the damage piece free of charge. That's great customer service.

Couple times I have looked at something and when I decided I really want it -- gone. So don't take too long to decide.

Wayfair makes it so easy to shop for furniture and home goods. We recently bought all new light fixtures for our house and I was able to go through so many choices from the comfort of home. It would have taken a long time to visit so many stores. I like how they include customer pictures of the items in some of the reviews. It really helps me make my decisions on what I buy. My wife and I used Wayfair for the 1st time after we moved into our new home. We ordered a run and a gas firepit for the back yard and everything we ordered showed up on time, in tact and was exactly what we wanted. I'm sure when we need to look for more home furniture products in the future we will use this company. We will be needing some outdoor patio soon and I have already seen plenty on their site that I want.

Getting furniture for your home can be difficult, especially if you're on a budget. Wayfair has allowed me to order mostly all of the furniture, paintings, rugs, nightstands and many other accessories for my bedroom. I love that they had alot of different headboards to choose from, and variety of accessories at such a great price! Defintely will use them for my daughter's college bedroom

My latest collection is currently sitting in three new curio cabinets from wayfair. It seems furniture store no longer carry these in there general inventory the attraction for collections may have been lost with current generation. However for our home they had the perfect solution for displaying items still handed down in our family from mother to daughter since World War I .

One of my favorite home stores is Wayfair.com. I love the sales they have around the holiday time and have enjoyed free shipping all year long. I have never had an issue of receiving my items too late for gifts either. There is such a variety of brands to choose from and I have learned to trust Wayfair for many of my home purchases. My favorite was finding a kitchen aid mixer for under $200! It has lasted over 6 years now!!

They have the most extensive selection but quality is less than average and their delivery practices are crazy. I ordered three items - two rug pads and one rug. I received an email the next day that one of two shipments had been sent. I received one rug pad. I checked online and it said that that shipment was to contain both rug pads so I called them. I was told the second rug pad was on its way and the rug would be a week or so because it is heavy. OK, I get it, no problem. Now 10 days later I received the rug and no word about the second pad. I called them again and was now told the second pad had been damaged during delivery and had just been returned to them so now they will try again to send me the second pad. Why would this take two weeks and multiple calls to get ironed out? I could have had a pad from Target in 3 days. I won't use Wayfair again - this was much more of a bother than it should have been.

I have purchased a few pieces of furniture from Wayfair. The furniture is very pretty and easy to put together. However, it will not withstand daily use. So I put my furniture pieces in areas of my house that is to fill in spaces but not often used so it will look good longer and hopefully last longer. The furniture is very very light weight.

I ordered this item way back in May, it was cancelled thru u for some weird issue after like 30 days. When notified I called and both parties fixed the issue. Well I get notice a month later that it will take longer than expected..another month. August comes around and when I’m expecting delivery of product I get an email informing me that not only is my delivery on its way but NOT even in your warehouse! Again I had to call to be told everything was delayed yet again!!! Now to give credit to wayfair I got a discount throughout the process. This week once again I was expecting my delivery for the 28th. I had a scheduled time and everything. I get a notice that I would have to wait another 2 WEEKS! Well I call furious. Ask Brittany who I believe I talked to once prior. She asks me to hold to find out what going on. She informs me that they are delivering the item the next day. Well it comes in, which the two delivery men were very nice and helpful. They leave. I notice there’s dark foot print marks on my glass table top box so I’m a little nervous about that but hear no broken glass. Well the very next day we attempt to put it together. It was a $2100. nightmare!! The mounting holes for the table base had welding solder dripped into the threads. Thank God the hubby was handy and he drilled and tapped four holes just so he could put it together. The door to the propane had black marker sharpie marking up possible defects, the magnetic door clip was broken, he had to drill the rivet out. I have pics of all this if u request. After waiting three and a half months or so we weren’t waiting any longer for a replacement. We’re still putting it together this morn....no idea how this will play out yet. We’re hoping for the best. I’ve bought several things over the last year from wayfair. They were smaller priced items and I think that’s what I’ll stick to, if I even decide to purchase something. Unfortunately, I will definitely NOT purchase a costly item again.

The website is user friendly and there are a lot of choices but the quality is sorely lacking. My latest purchase was a console and right out of the box it was chipped in several places. The assembly instructions were very hard to follow and half of the pieces weren't labeled. Another thing I purchased was a recliner and it was very poor quality. I am never going to purchase from Wayfair again. I think next time I'll try Hay Needle. I dont mind paying shipping for a better quality product.

iI’d like to start by saying their products are nicely made, which is why I ordered from them. I first ordered an upholstered bed, but when it came it was only the headboard. I called and the wayfair team member ordered the rest of the bed which would then be delivered ground. It ended up with me getting two more deliveries of parts because it never stated anywhere that the bed was shipped in two. The headboard went to the delivery company, and the rest of the bed came separately. This should have been noted somewhere when ordering. I then ordered a couch and loveseat, but before I did I called wayfair to make sure they would be able to get it through my door. After being convinced they would get it in, I ordered. When the delivery company brought it, they refused to bring it in because they could not remove them from their boxes and the boxes would not fit. So I was left with two huge boxes on my front porch and had to have my 63 year old father and my brother with a hurt arm help me get them in the house. I was reimbursed $175, which was nice, but again this should have been stipulated somewhere, or the wayfair associate should have told me the delivery company would not bring them in. I simply would not have ordered them.

My review is about the Wayfair delivery service and support. I ordered a light on March 15 with an expected delivery date of April 2. I ordered a number of other lights from Wayfair at the same time as well as some after I placed this order on the 15th. I received the lights I ordered at the same time as well as the lights ordered after, and all before April 2. Therefore, I scheduled my electrician to come install all my new lights April 6 thinking I would have them all. By the time April 5th came around and I still did not have this light, I called Wayfair and all they could tell me was they didnt know why the light was not delivered to my local warehouse on the 2nd, nor could they give me any information about when the new delivery date was. At this point, it was too late to cancel my electrician who had rented a very large ladder to be able to install this light. Now, I not only need to reschedule and pay my electirican to come out a second time, I will also need to rent the large ladder and transport it all over again. Wayfair gave me 10% back as a consolation which does not even cover the additional cost of the electrician and ladder. 10% has given me no peace of mind what so ever and I expect more from a company like Wayfair. Shame on me for putting my trust in them to get the light to me by the delivery date and shame on me for thinking they would make it right, especially to a customer who has spent a lot of money with them. I guess I learned my lesson. And for the record, it is now April 8 and no one from Wayfair can give me a new delivery date. Great!

Wow, what GR8 service. i had to do a return and they bent over backwards to try and correct the problem and when they could not to accommodate my return, plus no charge. i have no hesitation recommending Wayfair!!

We've purchased the odd item from Wayfair in the past and chose to buy two office task chairs from them. The chairs arrived quickly, but the description of the two chairs on Wayfair's website says: "Ergonomic Genuine Leather Task Chair by Flash Furniture" These chairs are your standard Chinese-made black vinyl chairs available anywhere. My issue is that Wayfair should not claim a chair is "genuine leather" when it isn't. It would have made a difference in my choosing their product.

I love the curtains! They hang beautifully. Very rich-looking! I ended up being able to use only two of the four panels I ordered (color was not a good match on the one window), and the return was seamless!

I ordered two semi-large Hanukkah decorations. There were two boxes which were thrown at my steps. They were dented; one made it to the landing and the other didn’t make it up the steps. I was not satisfied with the delivery. I usually use the boxes for storage but they were in bad condition. I recommend a different shipper.

You can find great deals on Wayfair, but a lot of the items aren't good quality. On the site it will show you the price that the product originally is, but those prices seem to be inflated so you think you're getting a better deal then you really are. Customer service is good - people always seem to be friendly on the phone. Biggest concern is that you have to pay for shipping back to Wayfair if you don't like it or it's not what it looks like on the site.

Wayfair has a lot of variety, some of it is great, some of it is not so great. The categories offered for searching are nice because you can easily dial down what you are looking for. The site is user friendly. They offer a lot of coupons as well. Delivery is great and quick.
