I've had them for a few years. We pay too much for to little customer service. If you call they will not help you navigate benefits or appeals. The app and website are always down. I'll be looking into other options next year.

This was the worse choice my company ever made to join this bobo insurance company Ease of doing busy with them is awful at best. They cover minimal, and you and your doctor are put through hoops to get anything approved If you can, find another plan. Better yet, push your company to find another healthcare provider

Blue Cross Blue Shield is the worst company to deal with on the phone or getting any benefit information. Hopefully you never have to speak to a human at the company, not possible. I waited on hold 30 minutes only to be hung up on by there system.

My experience with Blue Shield has been the worst. I will recommend or renew with this insurance provider. In July of 2018, I was taken to the ER in Nevada to Sunrise Hospital for immediate treatment. I had given all the proper documentation with correct Blue Shield insurance information - to the Sunrise Hospital. I ensured I paid the ambulance bill, which blue shield covered.

I have BlueCross and Blueshield of Arkansas through my work. I pay almost $500 a month and the out of pocket deductible is $7500 which is 1/3 of what I make per year. I had to be taken to the emergency room early in my pregnancy in 2019 and wound up loosing the baby and my insurance didn't pay any of the bill. The hospital did give me a discounted rate since I had insurance though. I just don't understand why I have to pay them so much every month and they still charge me so much on top of that.
