I worked with NDR for over 20 months and they were "unable" to settle a debt. Turns out they never responded to the creditors 3 offers. After I quit NDR and called the creditor I was able to work out a deal that was appropriate NDR did not return phone calls or emails. My other debt was settled within 4 months. They paid the creditor $l.00 a month and my charges for the $1.00 was higher than that. After 22 months I was no where near finishing this program even though I had been sending $488 in a month and was actually ahead in my payments. I had been told the program would take a total of 26 months My credit is ruined and NDR is a joke. I would recommend working on your own with your creditors. NDR's fees will always be subtracted from your account every month but they will not be working for you.

They did a great job settling my debt I saved a decent amount of money. PLEASE BEWARE! You will get charged a settlement fee of $4700 and it is written in your contract but that fee is part of what you will owe in total.

I like you do what you say on paying off my debt. That is what I wanted. I did not know when paid off a debit there would Known Service Charges. I knew that there were settlement charges but all these unknown finance charges, make me thank I've been scam. Please tell me why there are these unknown charges in my account and on the end of account, when nothing is owe.

I called to lower my monthly amount because I am having some serious unexpected surgery and have many medical bills. The representative said that I couldn’t keep the $250 a month and had to raise it to $285. I hope I can make it because my medical is outrageous. If I can’t my only alternative will be bankruptcy. I am struggling at this point.

I think the negotiations with my creditors has taken way too long and it’s completely ruined my credit. I knew that enrolling would do that to some degree but because so many of my creditors haven’t settled yet it’s really really affected my credit. If I had to go back and do it all over I probably wouldn’t

This has been a terrible experience. They have taken $$$$$ from us , ruined our credit, haven’t helped us with our debt, in fact we owe more now than when we started the program. That’s not including the constant harassing calls from Natl Debt Relief themselves, demanding you increase your bi-weekly payments, and threatening to drop your account if you don’t. ( these tactics don’t start until after you have been served with lawsuits from the very creditors they are supposed to be helping you with). Also, their “agents” are call center reps and you never speak with the same person twice. We finally called a lawyer and pulled out of the program. We’re gonna try to build our lives back up while we still have some pieces left to pick up. This is a long term SCAM. Don’t believe any of their advertising claims. They take advantage of people who are desperate.

At first was great, no calls, but after a while of monitoring my account, creditors were getting minimal payments, and fees, fees, fees. Account balance is going up, yet, the money isn't being sent as additional to get the accounts paid off. My monthly payments to NDR are higher than what I owe on some accounts. With the settlement fee, some accounts settled at the amount I owed, or pending higher.. No savings there. Credit score, don't bother... Mine dropped 65 points in a matter of months. The bigger accounts are still sitting untouched.

Awful organization, they work a settlement amount out, and present you with a payment option up front, but don’t expect that number to stick. They will constantly hound and harass you for money, they will send you approvals for payoffs and AFTER you approve the payoff, they will send another approval that forces you to call in, and wait for it, they ask you to pay more money... They did little to nothing to help settle debts and continually asked for more money, the shady practice of you approving an agreement through their system and then turning around weeks later to tell you you can only approve that if you send more money is reprehensible. And the initial amount they tell you will not stick it will continually grow as more accounts enter into “agreement” I would never recommend or work with again... it is a waste and an additional stress that doesn’t not need to be added.

NDR is great, however the amount I pay monthly leaves me in a real bind. Thank goodness once in awhile I get a hardship reduction because of recent dental bills and my car insurance.
