I wish FDR would do a better job of informing potential customers how bad their credit scores would become snd how high the fees are. When I enrolled, I had never missed a payment, ever. To date, I have lost 130 pts that will take a very long time to recover. The employees are nice and somewhat helpful. I am almost debt free, but it was a high price to pay.

FDR has been good to work with. Setting up our account initially and enrolling our debt was a simple task. Has been a long process but our debt is being reduced and our monthly payments are a small fraction of our monthly credit card payments. Would recommend!

I dislike that I am being charged a settlement fee of over $5,000. That's in addition to the interest rate of my new loan and the regular monthly program fees. I expected some fees, but not that. It really took the excitement out of the $9,000 that was saved by going through this program. Everything else has been wonderful!

I’m only a little but halfway in the program. They are settling debts but I almost feel that if your gonna stop paying your credit cards you may be better off settling the debts yourself and not give Freedom the huge amount they take for settlements. Yes you save half your debt but than FDR takes their cut. I was also told when I signed up that a few months in I would be able to apply for a consolidation loan with a monthly payment and that wasn’t true

I feel disappointed at the results, especially with California Coast Credit Union, I end up paying out more money than what I initially owed them, and that institution was my biggest concern. I called to find out how debt relief worked and was talked into do this. I feel I would of been better off doing what I had originally planned, keeping my good Credit and getting a debt consolidation loan. That way my credit wouldn't be crap like it is now and I could at lease take the equity from my home. Now I'm still in debt and can't qualify for a home equity loan because I did this. I'm screwed, and they still get paid. It was never about helping me it was all about the money they could make from me. All banks and all big businesses are all in this together to make money at any cost. I know this now.

They have an A+ with the Better Business Bureau and 4 out of 5 stars in Customer Reviews, so the complaints may exist, but overall they have helped me.
