We also understand that nobody likes fees, but hope you understand that our fees are designed to be much lower than the amount you would have paid in interest over the life of the program and that these costs are necessary to keep our nonprofit teams employed. However, if you feel your fees are too high or your situation has changed, client services would be happy to review your file and see if you don't qualify for a reduced fee. Since banks can take some time to confirm payments have been received and file the required paperwork through the proper channels, there may be delays in notifying people their accounts have been paid off.
