Understandably, it can be concerning to see the negative impact to your credit score. However, try to keep in mind that this is only temporary. After the full settlement amount is paid to and processed by a creditor, they may report to credit reporting bureaus that your account is settled in full, settled, paid, paid by settlement, or settled for less than the full amount. You no longer owe on this account and the balance is zero. That debt is behind you and your credit report shows it.

Experience has been good; however, make sure your monthly FDR debit is an amount you can live with. It is impossible to get it lowered once FDR starts working for you. Daily expenses have accelerated and I find it impossible to stay within my budget. I find myself having to borrow money from whomever every single month. Very stressing!!

I was doing OK until I was offered a consolidation loan that was denied. I do not like "no", especially when the loan was not my idea. Anyway, it should be understood that people use debt relief companies because of being overwhelmed with bills for a period of time and want to get adjusted. Saying "no" for the same reason (excess bills in relation to income) does not make sense to me. I contemplate dropping FDR and negotiating the bills myself.

So far, they are doing what they were going to do and helping. Their customer service is basically taking care of my concerns and they're doing what they say they were going to do. I'm very happy about it.
