I believe that's trustworthy. So far they have done a lot and reached out to me. The person that called me was very efficient very thorough however the date I'd set for my payment to come out all the sudden they were wrong and they took the payment before they were supposed to and it left my bank account overdrawn.

You are, in effect, paying off your debt in 5-7 years with ZERO savings. On, say, $100,000 owed, they negotiate your debt by half ($50,000). They charge a flat fee of 25% of what you "saved". So, $25,000. Meanwhile, companies like Discover, they LEAVE ALONE and tell you NOT TO CONTACT them.... So for 18 months, you're accumulating 30% MORE in interest AND when they finally negotiate it down and add their fee, you've paid well over what the Discover debt started with. The lump sum "Loan" they offer in the end is at a rate equivalent to the rate the credit cards were that got you into this position in the first place..... However, they open their sales pitch with "Most people just get a personal loan with a much lower interest rate and pay our loan off." So, after 2 years or more of late/delinquent payments, credit score lower than you can imagine..... What bank in their right mind is going to give you a loan. They don't tell you any of that. The other is the "Make these monthly payments for 18 months and we then give you this loan...... 18 months go by, PERFECT payment record, "Sorry, you don't qualify for the loan." So, 32 MONTHS, and I finally qualify.... So, 18 months PLUS 14 months of compounded interest...... Feels good to pay $105,000 against $100,000 owed 6 years later and no credit..

Bait and switch. They advertise as a consolidation loan, you end up with a debt relief program. Was not exactly what I needed. I had good credit, and was making my payments. I needed a small loan in an attempt to improve the APR on my debt. That is not what I received. 2 stars because I did get a loan, however the terms are horrendous. The fees are hidden. The communication is not transparent. I was not really a good fit for this program. Now my credit is tanked, and I'm signed up for 36 payments. I will refinance, and pay this off immediately.

It brought my credit rating down and that is trying to go back up now but it was very very poor for over a year almost a year.

They set up a pretty simple platform to deal with. However, their fees are very high and ultimately I don't feel we saved much money and could have accomplished the same results with a little discipline and it wouldn't have hurt our credit in the process.

Ireally like how they listen, ask you what are your expectations are,and give you all the imformation that you need and what is expected of you. They let you make your own decision after they explain all the steps and very polite and understanding of you. Initially I wanted a debt consolidation loan, but Americor was unable to make that happen. It turns out that the program is actually a better option. Although I am scared to take the credit hit, it is unbelievably calming to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel and there IS an end of the tunnel. I am looking forward to the freedom this program will afford me while making a better life for my family.

Several years ago we found out that my wife’s cancer had returned. This time she no longer had the strength to endure the cancer and the “cure”. When she passed I found out that I won’t live long enough to pay it off. I made payments for the medical bills with credit cards until I couldn’t anymore. That’s when I found out about Americor. Now I make one payment to Americor each month that is less than any of the several cards I had balances on. I’m glad I went with Americor.
