I currently have AT&T as my wireless provider and I'm really not very happy with them and I'm considering changing. First of all, they have NO CLUE how to process auto pay. Auto pay shouldn't be tricky at all!!!! It should automatically take money out of the debit card that is on the account at the time the payment is due. That should be simple. But apparently it's not. After I switched to AT&T and set up autopay, I received a text message and an email saying that my autopay was processed. They took the money out of my account and then they put it back in my account a few days later, claiming that I was late on my payment. It's very annoying when they offer a discount to customers who use autopay, but they have no idea how to process autopay properly. Since I don't trust them with autopay, I'm manually making my payments, so I don't get any discounts at all. But I can't trust them to process my autopayments at all!!!!! You'd think that a huge company like AT&T could handle figuring out how to process autopayments, but sadly they can't. My best friend has cell phone service with AT&T and they allow her to upgrade her cell phone when she's paid for half of what is due on her current cell phone. AT&T refuses to let me upgrade until I've paid off my cell phone in full. They don't treat all customers fairly or the same.

I've been with AT&T since the iPhone came out. Service has improved significantly over the years. I've always received great customer care. Last time I got the best care of reducing my bill based on my usage and discounts. Awesome. My son uses AT&T and I recommend to my friends and family. Wish for more towers. I do get spotty service in places.

We switched to AT&T to find better cell phone coverage and we have not been disappointed. We have experienced few dropped calls and with a discount from work, the service is affordable. We have had difficulty working with some of the sales people in the stores, they are not so friendly or service oriented. They act as if they have plenty of customers, who cares if they upset one or two.

Price could always be better. Called to tell them we wanted to leave because of price and they basically price matched us the amount Tmobile gives you for unlimited data which we didn't have. Now we have unlimited data at the same price we were paying when we only had 15 gigs.

I have been with AT&T since they were Pac Bell. I never had a problem wherever I went. My sister decided we should all switch providers and everything went bad for us. Missed calls, dead zones, the slowest data ever!!! Nightmare! After a few months of nonsense we switched back and now all is well again. I will never do that again!

i have tried several cell phone providers, including the disposable phone companies. I LOVE AT&T. They have very competitive rates, their customer service is great, and the calls are always clear and crisp. I changed companies a few times trying to save a buck, but I always end up coming back to AT&T. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family! GOOD JOB AT&T!!

I have had AT & T as my phone service for several years. Recently I have had a lot of trouble with calls cutting in and out. I know we have had a lot of growth in our area and I wondered if that could be the problem. I called AT & T and they were great to work with. I did some price comparing when I first started having these problems but realized that I'm getting a pretty good deal with AT & T. They did fix the problem and I have much better reception now.

Working out the bugs is frustrating. The product is good when it's working. The techs seem to be friendly, intelligent about the product but held back by the I eternal workings of the support process. Far too many layers for the techs to have to deal with just to get what needs to be completed. Work on reducing the layers and I think your support could be top notch.

I have had AT&T for ten years. Only the last two years I began service with a smart phone. I did notice that compared to my one friends growing up I did not have service in certain areas but she did with Verizon. Overall though I was satisfied with the service and how AT&T helped me get important information off of wet, cracked, and other broken phones.

The Day B4 Thanksgiving my phone decided to LOSE SERVICE. I called AT&T Customer Service and was told of an outage in my area and also got cut off every time I was in process of phone call with a rep to discuss my issue. I went to my local store and was told a NEW SIM CARD is my issue. Had it 2 weeks now and seems to be working well...... The fact that I spend $60 /month for service and deal with this situation is unbearable. Should any more issues arise I will be switching service.

AT&T has been fine. My family has used them for the past six years. Service has been good everywhere we go, but customer service is disappointing. We especially were disappointed with our recent trip to Europe - we went to the AT&T store to get our international plan set up, and the employee was very clear that we would be getting just as much data and service as our domestic plan. When we got abroad, we found that reality was very different. It sucked. And AT&T wouldn't do anything to help us. Bummed, but their day-to-day service for us is fine, so we stay with them.

I have been with AT&T for the last 12 years. We have only had problems like twice in that time, so that is not bad. The service is really great, I rarely have issues with service issues and call drops. We get an amazing price because of when we signed up. I wish they had an unlimited data option, but we do have a lot of data to share.

Long relationship, unfortunate end

Accounts are not secure and AT&T takes no responsibility for securing your account to keep others from being able to charge whatever they want on it and make changes to your plans. Passwords and passcodes nothing

Have had my cell service with AT&T for over a decade. Service is strong everywhere I've been. The addition of other international services being included is super helpful for travel especially to Mexico and Canada. Only complaint is you have to inquire about there new programs or they keep you on your old plan. Often times you can get cheaper service with more/unlimited updates just by asking. Worth speaking with them once a year to see if you can save

I'm been a long time customer of AT&T for my cell phone service, my husbands and our two son's. With phone calls AT&T has always been very helpful in keeping our bill low, in letting us know the latest discounts, the latest programs. And not only is the service helpful but the phone signal and reception works very well. I think it is the best cell phone service. Before this when I had 18 employees I had all of my sales people on AT&T. My sons have gone to school out of state and the service has worked very well where they live too. I'm very pleased.

AT&T is among the higher priced mobile phone service providers but you often get what you pay for in this industry. I have previously been with Verizon (the most expensive) and T-Mobile (less expensive, but poor coverage). AT&T has a robust and reliable network with good speed. As someone who travels for work, it is comforting to know that my phone will get a connection all over the U.S., something I could not count on with T-Mobile.

But when they finally figured out what the cause was, they approved O.T. so they could get it repaired once and for all.

I've never had a problem with coverage, except in the middle of national parks like Yellowstone or Zions, or in the middle of Wyoming. My family and I were AT&T users for a number of years. Let's be real, the more providers there are, the higher they need to make their cost. This is why we left AT&T. We found a better deal through Verizon and we have had them for quite sometime. As you are researching, make sure to look into the perks of AT&T and also into the negative effects. This will provide you with valid data as you make your decision of which provider to us. Sadly, I have had poor communication with customer service and feel that it has a long way to go before being super efficient. Look into monthly fees, hidden fees, annual fees, and then decide if you think it will be good for you.

AT&T has been a consistently trustworthy phone provider. During my travels abroad, I wasn’t even charged any international fees. This is super helpful considering I leave the country a lot. They are always readily available on the phone if I have any questions, and for that I am grateful. Data is usually reliable, and my friends that don’t have AT&T are often jealous of me when my service is better than theirs. I am very pleased with this company as a whole, and I would recommend to anyone.

In stead they started charging me $30 a month for the new phone after only 2 months of $30 credits from my new device I turned in, They won't return my phone saying that it a separate party & its too late now. On 10/3/22, I received a promotion from AT&T for home internet. I called them & spoke with Kayce. She informed me about a cell phone promotion. Not only would they provide better service but match the bill. The total price was 2 lines for $110+tax/month ($55 a line/month) & a $20/month credit due to us using our own devices, making the bill $90+tax/month total. I told her I purchased a new phone 3 weeks ago but had concerned my provider (Boost Mobile) would not be compatible with AT&T and feared it would lock. She said if its PAID OFF it will work. After double checking in her system, Kayce was certain she could activate it. When she attempted to import my number, the call dropped, the phone locked, and I was left with no phone. Kayce & the activation support team attempted to troubleshoot but was unsuccessful. I was told to go to multiple locations including my old provider which informed me that ATT owns my number now and wouldn't give it back them. I went back to ATT store location. They wanted me to buy a phone from them with no payment plan due to being a new customer policy probationary period. I explained to them I had just bought a Galaxy S21 weeks ago for around $800 new. They need to fix this. They told me there is nothing he can do and to call corporate. I told him That they advised me to go to multiple location, this being one of them. The next day I went into another location (5180 state Rte 100, PALM COAST, FL 32164). Darrell was my sales rep. He told me I was lied to by Kayce. However, he has a promotion to where I would receive a free phone if I turned in my old phone. He explained that the "free phone trade promotion" will in essence be discounted by monthly bill credits that AT&T will give back on your bill for the 36-month installment plan. He would also honor $10 off monthly for my wife having her own phone all the mess but this would take 2-3 billing cycles to see the credits. He even told me "The phone doesn't even have to work, and they would take anything." I still turned in my galaxy s9. It was it good working order. The rep said it will be fine and I will start receiving the monthly credits in a couple months. My bill quoted was $130+ tax as explained by Darrel. My bill is $175. I have to complain for months only to be hung up on, put on hold, told it will be fixed and to give it a few more billing cycles, months go by and still no results. Almost 8 months later (4/23) they gave me $400 credit which is less than the agreement. By switching to AT&T I have raised my bill 200% and had to purchase 2 brand new phones, AND a S9 they had me trade in. After calling today I spoke with a manager named Kevin who told me that the reason I didn't receive my $800 in credits is because my phone arrived one day late, and the promotion ended making me ineligible for the promo & they will credit me a total $17.50. I asked how did it arrive late? I did as they instructed and used their shipping & even dropped it off early. If I was ineligible for the promotion, how was I not inform when I dropped off the trade in phone? I also asked him why AT&T said they will rectify the problem every time I called? Kevin then hung up on me. in short, I'm n Locked out of my phone, had my bill double, and was forced to buy another $800 phone without any care for the customer. You simply can't treat people like this. Please help! Thanks

Do NOT use AT&T. And if you do, NEVER sign up for multiple lines. My son had an AT&T account and a group of us were looking for new providers so we joined his plan. 5 lines, 6 years ago. Well one person left before the year was up, paid off his phone and notified AT&T that he was switching networks and to cancel his line. Another the couple split up and the ex girlfriend did the same (paid off the phone, went to an individual plan and notified AT&T) ...3 years ago. The remaining three of us are still paying our own lines and the additional charges of having these two additional lines associated (but not active) on the account. My phone has been paid off for years and I'm still paying over $150 a month for AT&T, shopped around. Verizon I can get a brand new phone and my own line for $85. I'd jump ship but don't want to leave my two sons holding the bag for my unused line. AVOID AT&T like the plague y'all.

I upgraded my iPhone and purchased the watch. I already had, for years a tablet that was paid for and being charged $20 for the service monthly. Traveled out of state for work for several months and my bill was being drafted out of my checking account. I believed that the additional charges were relative to my new phone and watch. Upon this purchase, however, they decided to sneak in an additional $55 for the tablet for several months. The local ATT employee notified me of this charge and said it should only be $20 as it was prior to new purchase and directed me to the resolution center. I talked with the supervisor who indicated that this was their fault And would credit me 3 months. When I asked why only 3 months she said it was my fault for not paying closer attention to my bill. This was clearly a “bait and switch “ tactic that they use when upgrades are made. I trusted this company which I had used for years and didn’t thought that I could trust that they would or tamper with my charges. Bad business for sure!!! Check your bills people because these guys cannot be trusted!!!

They make promises they can't keep they lie lie lie they give you the run around you pay 30 months for free phone and no contract they locked in for 30 months I called I wanted to reduce my bill I had five phones I was paying $194 for everything which was great I wanted to save some money so I got rid of three phones now the Bill's $140 . Should have kept the five phones. I called before going about the trading in for a phone oh yeah you can trade the phone you can do that I said I'm driving 70 some miles 150 Mi and 3 hours later told him to stick it wanted to sell me a different phone and playing you try to write a review or find a place to complain and all they want to do is try to sell you more of their crap the biggest problem all of them are doing it all the providers are doing it to people although I must say I tried to talk my wife into going to AT&T for over 10 years and she fought me and I should have listened to her because she never called but twice in 10 years and that was only to change her plan and to get a different phone my friends have tried all the others and they have problems with them too a lot of it's the lies they tell shame on you AT&T all the way around Corporation that's grown to your size and worth should reward the people that helped get you there as a retired employee and have been a dedicated customer.
