Mopar Vehicle Protection

I read reviews after already had their GAP insurance. And they did end up covering the remainder of my vehicle balance minus the dealership extended warranty due to me canceling my warranty year prior to accident. Yes it was a pain having to download all documents but it is totally understandable why they needed them. They covered balance that was left after my car insurance paid bank. You give them police report, insurance documentation on basically entire accident or loss, and proof that any extras you bought while at dealership(warranties you cancel and send them that) dealership receipt from purchase, and actual copies of bank documents like balance and proof showing what your car insurance paid. You follow directions and process takes 2 weeks tops. I called them the minute all my documents were downloaded and they then sent it same day to underwriting. If you do an extended payment plan like 80months or more on your vehicle then this is worth it. Current vehicle I purchased after my last one they paid for I did not get gap since put down larger down payment, have a shorter loan term and vehicle that holds value. But I will not say they did me wrong in anyway. It’s just important they have all documents. They actually opened back up my file because they originally weren’t paying me for the cost of extended warranty. I resubmitted showing it had been canceled previously and they upped the amount coming back to me and I got my loan paid off. I’m not being paid for my review. It is an honest report on what my experience was.

Loved the money I saved, and the customer service. I bought the lifetime max coverage in 2015 for my 2015 Grand Cherokee. I used it at least 7 times. One time a few years ago, my local dealer/garage tried screwing me out of a claim for about $1400, and Mopar went to bat for me, ultimately I got my refund from the DEALER and not Mopar because the dealer was a bad boy. I am very surprised at so many negative reviews are here. I was nice and courteous to the customer care folks at Mopar and I think they appreciate it and treated me the same way. No problems.
