Claim submitted Tuesday & Wednesday, 10/17-18, was told under review.m. We’d I called and spoke with CS, was told claim not covered because was for repair of “Hose” and pipe not considered part of. Covered items”. Informed CS that part needing repair was Radiator itself, NOT hose to radiator. CS said repair claim submitted said was for ‘Hoses’. Informed CS would speak with repair center. Repair CT said did not even mention word “Hose” in claim submitted, will resubmit and call & speak with CS & make sure understands. This was Wednesday, on Thursday he called and was told ‘ claim under review’. No word by Friday, called again, CS again said ‘Claim under review’. So has taken 3 days after clarified repairs needed and still no word. On Tues, I stressed to CS I need vehicle repaired ASAP because having surgery coming week and need vehicle to drive to hospital 80 miles away. Guess he could not care less how important it’s for me to get this done. Won’t be recommending services to anyone after receiving service like this!!! Marcia Boyne

I recently had my air conditioner go out and took it right away to the dealership in which they communicated with American Dream Auto Protect. After waiting a few days for the approval the dealership was able to complete the job. I would have rated American Dream much higher for this issue, but unfortunately my first interaction or need did not go as smooth. I took my car in for what needed up being a transmission issue. After the adjuster came in they denied my claim stating this was already a preexisting issue. Dealership and multiple mechanics confirmed that there was no way to know that it was preexisting. I paid thousands of dollars for the warranty and then to top it off had to pay an additional $5,000 for the new transmission.

My experience with American Dream Auto Protect has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I purchased a warranty from them in October 2022 and requested a refund in July 2023. The trouble began when they refused to cover an issue with my car, claiming it was pre-existing and citing a recording of me mentioning the issue during the purchase, which was not the case. I contacted their customer service to request a $2,200 refund. Despite diligent follow-ups and conversations with their representatives, particularly Mr. R, I have not received any refund. Promises and reassurances were made but not fulfilled. I was initially told I would receive a credit refund in 7-10 business days, which never happened. They then mentioned mailing a check, which also never arrived. An electronic check was promised within 24 hours but was never processed. Subsequently, I was told they could only issue refunds in increments of $500, and even that didn't happen. Despite Mr. R's assurances, a check supposedly mailed on September 27th was never received. I even sent a certified letter requesting a refund with no response. It's clear that this company has been giving me the runaround for over two months, and their repeated attempts to avoid my refund request are frustrating. When I call them now, they keep me on hold, send me to voicemail, or hang up. It's worth noting that someone named Henry keeps texting me to offer a discount for their service, which adds to the overall unsatisfactory experience. In conclusion, I strongly advise against using this company under any circumstances. My experience with them has been nothing short of exasperating and unsatisfactory. ***********************UPDATE*********************** Since I posted my review I have spoken with Raymond to rectify the refund issue. They immediately wrote a check to be sent out overnight USPS, emailed me a picture of the check, and sent the USPS tracking number.

I cannot express enough how betrayed and frustrated I feel after my dreadful experience with American Dream Auto Protect Car Insurance. This is now the third negative experience I’ve had with this company and each time they refused to pay what I was due, in spite of the fact that I initially paid a premium of $8200. Last time I filed a claim for $2400, they promised to send the money within a week as long as I posted a positive review, which I did. They finally paid me 6 weeks later, probably because I initiated a complaint with the attorney general, which I withdrew shortly after. Now, I filed another claim for $2205.47 and they offered me $1200, which I reluctantly accepted. Once again they said if I removed the negative review, which I did, they would pay me. Again it's been over a week and as usual no check. This company's deceptive practices extend beyond their insurance policies; they are willing to manipulate online reviews at their customers' expense. I highly suspect that the company is manipulating online reviews by providing incentives for people to write short, positive reviews to overwhelm the bad ones and compensating people to remove their bad reviews. Their lack of integrity and blatant disrespect for their clients is appalling. Beware of American Dream Auto Protect - their impressive online façade is built on false promises and unethical practices. I highly advise individuals who are contemplating choosing this company to explore reviews from sources other than Google reviews, as it appears they have the ability to influence reviews on that platform and others. I suggest checking websites such as Yelp, where you can discover a 1.5-star rating, and the Better Business Bureau where they have 16 complaints. I will be contacting the attorney general once again to follow up on my initial complaint for fraud along with the FTC and any other governmental agency that has jurisdiction over them. I suggest anyone who is in a similar situation to do likewise.

I called this company for a quote for a vehicle I was considering to buy. The other car I was looking at came certified through the manufacturer. One week after my quote, the salesperson called me back to check which purchase I made as agreed upon. I thanked the salesperson but told him I went with the car that was certified and therefore didn't need the warranty. He attempted to still offer the warranty and I needed to firmly decline and ask that I be taken off their list for future consideration. He agreed and we hung up. I received another SIX calls on the matter where I asked the same; to be removed from their system. I was ensured on that 6th call that he, himself, would remove me and apologies were in abundance. The very next day, I received two text messages!! I called back and the salesperson who answered the phone ("John A") was rude, obnoxious, aggressive, and refused to put me on with a manager. We argued back and forth about my request to speak with a manager and the amount of unprofessional dialogue was astounding. I had to hang up and call back. I left a message asking a manager to call me back. 2 minutes later. I received a phone call from someone who claimed to be a manager apologized for the behavior and concluded that he would take me off the list. He called me back 15 minutes later to verify I was taken off. I received a phone call from a supervisor within 15 minutes of writing my review, (presumably the same person I had spoken to earlier) who informed me that he noticed I left a bad review. He concluded that he had already spoken to me and that he already apologized and asked me to remove the review. I told him no and disconnected the call. **Update: after speaking with "Henry B", a vice president of sales, he profusely apologized for the unprofessional manner in which I was treated. He informed me that disciplinary action would be taken by the company on this employee and he was more than 90% sure this individual would be terminated. I agreed to remove the review only if they fired this person. It did surprise me that a person with his title and function had no direct involvement in disciplinary action. He gave an explanation of the process and alluded that it was most likely a sure thing. After reading all of the negative reviews and knowing that I have no way of knowing if they actually fired this person, I decided to leave the initial review with this update and change the rating to a neutral one. It appears that there is a script that is being used to play on the emotions of persons who care about others' ability to make money based on the actions of some bad apples. It's a manipulation tactic that has probably saved them from many more bad reviews. Bottom line: the company is responsible for training their people adequately and the company needs to have a zero-tolerance policy for this type of behavior.

During first conversation with Richard T were fine, good sales pitch. Later spoke with Anthony M, he was the one really working the sale offers. Good conversation and impression that everything is a good buy for the warranty. I agreed to the offer and bought the warranty for my 2013 Avalanche. this was July 27, 2023, 1700. I have used the warranty once, on 12 september2023 at Coggin Chevy. At first I was very upset with the process, my service agent called and was told your company didn't work with phone process. I was never told the process for filing a claim and what was required, nowhere in contract explains the process. I called and talked to several people on the phone expressing that I thought the firm and warranty were a scam. I was quick thinking that way. Finally, my service agent was able to work with the warranty rep and get the process was completed and my repair was covered. I hope I don't have to use the warranty policy again but if so, we know how things work, I think. I've delt with a couple of scam warranty companies before and thought I was going down that road again, as for now it is different. As for now I would recommend American Dream to a friend in need.

RUNAWAY. worst company i've ever done biz with. If your car warranty costs 3k and u have 200 dollar in repairs for the life of the warranty they're great. Have any real problems. The kind sthat u need a warranty for they r a fraud. Told my repair shop they canceled my policy. Talked me into removing a negative review only to completely renew on their promises and flat out lied again. Following up with state AG and every consumer protection agency available as well as filing suit. Honestly never came across a bigger scam company. I sold car Warranties at one time.
