TURO experience went off well, I must admit I was a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out very well. My person that I ised was very flexible, knowledgeable & helpful in the use of the vehicle. I would recommend TURO lowering some of the fees. All in all I would recommend.

Turo was a total hassle in every way! From the insane signup process ripe with fraud opportunities to the arbitrary designation of vehicles and the vetting process of what vehicles you are allowed to rent. The support and live chat is absolutely terrible. The only way I was able to get answers was to message the CEO via LinkedIn. The cars are cool, but there is no way to tell the condition. I rented a Jaguar F-Type R Convertible, which was 3 years old and was $130k when new, I paid $1150 for the rental and the car was completely falling apart. Even guests at the hotel made comments about the poor condition, it was Incredibly embarrassing. I doubt I will use Turo again. And I don’t recommend you do either!

I like the ease of the showroom, selections, availability and approval rates. The app layout is very easy to use and intuitive. The only negative feedback that I have is that Turo allows the owner to cancel a trip at the very last minute which is an inconvenience to the customer renting; other than that I love Turo!

Turo is great for convenience. The availability of different types of cars is nice too. I feel like Turo's fees and insurance options are high in price though. They claim to be cheaper than rental agencies but the fees are about the same once you get all the way to checkout.

The whole experience was a breeze, the only bad part is having to go all the way to shelter island to pick up the vehicle. I don’t have a car so it was expensive to Lyft back and forth to pick up and drop off. Other than that, this app is awesome!!!

I chose turo because i had a great experience the first time i used it. the owner met me at arrivals with the car and i drove off. very easy and seemed to be the whole reason to use turo. no waiting, no hertz desk etc. this time with turo was not a good experience. i was charged a 120 dollar "delivery fee", but nothing was delivered to me. instead i had to take an uber to a parking lot where there was a turo "outdoor office". this then turned into your typical experience with budget, avis etc. except it was out side in a parking lot. i had to wait 45 minutes to get help as there was a long line of people waiting for their cars. then they were unable to find my car. they eventually did find it, but overall the experience was not good. then i called turo customer service and the representative deflected most responsibility to the 3rd part that ran the kiosk and the car owner. classic startup story - "were not responsible". won't be using turo again and will not recommend it again. thanks ryan

The prices for some of the vehicles listed are too high. I use apps like Airbnb, Uber, Lyft etc. and I have rented many cars from rental agencies. I think there should be a limit on how much people charge per day for a car.

Competitive rates, straight forward process. Having the airport “curbside” is nice, despite having to pay extra for it. It would be nice if the car was recently washed, which ours was not. But it’s a great service. Our car was rented through “Curbsyde” at DFW and they were fantastic to deal with.

My first reservation didn't go through, so customer service helped me find another one. I asked for something cheap with unlimited miles or the option for unlimited miles. Two options were thrown on the table but ended up not being what I asked for and I found out AFTER returning the vehicle.

Absolutely love this option of renting a known/unique vehicle from someone that is creating their own small business. Occasionally the logistics aren't perfect, but I'm certain they will improve. Thank you for giving both the owners of the vehicles and the renters an option other than the big rental companies.
