My agent is always on it. Customer service is always friendly, answers all my questions promptly. When they need to mail me something it is prompt. Prices are great for me. I have been a customer for over 35 years. I check prices every 3 years or so with other companies but no one can touch their prices.

Similar to my experience with other insurance companies, State Farm starts out with some great rates but then seems to slowly increase those rates over the next couple of years to the point that you have to shop around to get good rates again. I do like State farm and they treat you really well, and one day I will probably sign up with him again when my current provider gets too expensive

I've then with State farm for over 12 years now. I have multiple vehicles and my home insured. The agents are wonderful they listen to your needs and customize an insurance policy geared towards your needs and concerns. There's no cookie cutter policy here. Customer service is great either by phone or email and if they can't answer your question they will get back to you in a timely manner. I've referred family and friends to State farm and would highly recommend.

State farm insurance has some really friendly employees however when you do a quote through them they call you constantly and email you constantly for two weeks straight… I had to decline many phone calls from them during conference calls while I was working which was a little bit frustrating but I understand that they were trying to help me… Unfortunately State Farm is a good company and you can usually provide great rates but they were unable to beat Geico

We are extremely pleased with State Farm Auto Insurance. It is good to have an agent in the same town that we live in. It is helpful to have an agent that will "go to bat" for you in times of need. They payed for the damages done in the accident we had. All things were taken care of in a reasonable amount of time.

They came out and met with us personally and explained how their insurance work and how mush we could save if we use their device which keeps track of our driving. It gives us a score on speed, braking, acceleration and something else from that we are able to get a discount depending on our scoring. We are very pleased with them.

I'm guessing not all State Farm Agencies are the same, because I've seen multiple offices where I live, each one with a different agent. So referring to the agent I have worked with, their office is difficult to get a hold of and get a response from. I had an issue with driving for 6 months using "Drive Safe and Save" to calculate how much my discount will be, but after 7 or 8 months I looked on the app and my premium increased to $100 more than I was paying! I called them and they couldn't explain why it increased, but at the same time I was driving more miles and also driving for Lyft so I know those impacted my rate. But overall, they should be able to explain why it increased, and they couldn't

Rates are competitive, the local agent is nice, office always willing to have face-to-face help. If one has a good driving record, the rates are just as good as online companies. We insure several cars, RV, and OHV dirt bikes, rental houses, and investment land. Our agent really works hard.

Had State Farm for about 8 years. Was happy until I filed a claim- but not how you’d think. We got into a car accident while moving to a new state. Totaled the car. They paid the claim fine without any problem- in fact we got more money than we were expecting from them, so that was a plus. However, they kept pressuring us to change to an agent in our state instead of keeping the old one because “a local person could offer me better service.” I did switch. Then I found out when you change to a new agent your insurance rate changes, so we immediately started paying for the car accident with a higher rate than before, instead of getting the rates hiked when the insurance came up for renewal in 6 months. I felt like I’d been tricked and changed to a new insurance company.

State Farm was used by my family for many years until we all switched to USAA for cheaper car insurance. State Farm did do a fine job while we had them, and is still a great service for anybody who doesn't have access to USAA, but it is a little more pricey, and doesn't cover some stuff that most other companies do, like chip repair. They do offer good student discounts, which was always a nice bonus.

Sometimes the prices for the car insurance seem to change a lot and I get confused about the price but we always call them up or email them and then it gets straightened out and they explain what is going on.
