Progressive Auto Insurance

We have been using Progressive for auto insurance for several years and are very satisfied with their service. They were very prompt when we got in an accident and needed car repairs.

Progressive has been my insurance provider for 12 years and I will never switch again. They have the best customer service by far. They have covered me through many crashes with little payments.

Progressive has pretty good rates for auto insurance. With that being said, the prices have gone up in the past couple of years, but the price is still reasonable. When I speak to someone at Progressive, they've all been helpful.

We had progressive insurance for quite a while and then switched over to another carrier while on progressive never had any accidents but the statements were easy to read payments one always smoothly and never any issues with customer service.

Any time I've had a claim or question, they've been quick and thorough and helpful. I've been with them for years now and appreciate how they take care of me. I've been looking at my rates lately, though, and they've gone up a bit. As much as I appreciate them, I think it's time to shop for lower rates.

So easy to get multiple quotes all in one place! I really love the snapshot add on. We didn't always have the best driving record so that drove our insurance rates up....we've grown up and become better drivers ... with the addition of snapshot we have been able to lower our rates because our new driving skills were monitored!

I have been with Progressive for my Auto Insurance for over 15 years. They are a great company to work with. They are very prompt at processing claims, and always available to answer any questions.

I have been pleased with Progressive so far, but I just started to notice that my rates are not as low as I would have expected, compared to other companies that I have researched in recent weeks. Coverage is good, but price is my concern.

When my husband was doing an internship at Progressive, we were so impressed by the company that we decided to switch to their auto insurance. We never had to file a claim, but I did contact customer service two times to inquire about our rates, and each time the customer service member was polite and answered all our questions.

I used progressive insurance to insure my motorcycle. The insurance was inexpensive, but the best thing was that it was so easy to set up through my independent insurance agent. I really like the ease of getting it set up!

This company is the worst when it comes to insurance along with Allstate I rented a vehicle from enterprise and it was damaged upon speaking to progressive I explained that the damages were already Pre-existing damages and that I was not responsible for these they assured me that before paying out on something they would keep in contact so that I know what was happening that never happened they paided for damages I hadn’t done them tried to charge me for paying for it after I specifically told them what happened so now I have this stain on my credit from them that shouldn’t be there my advice do not use them

On July 31, 2021 I was in a car accident in which the police had my vehicle towed under a program called darp. I was removed from the scene by EMS because I had sustained injuries. The very next day I filed a claim explaining the accident. The adjuster reached out to me and told me the next steps. I advised her that the tow truck company (Casino towing located in QUEENS NY on Beach 71 st in far Rockaway was corrupt). I advised her that they would attempt to get more money out of them and they needed to pick up my car. They didn’t listen to me and it took 18 days before my car was picked up and they were charged 3700 dollars. In the process they kept calling me asking me to go to the tow truck company to dispute the charges and call the police because I’m the owner. At no point in time did they ever give me a rental when I asked for full coverage. Now any other insurance company I’ve had, whenever I say full coverage rental assistance is included. The rep told me they don’t know what full coverage is. That’s the wrong term. So they expected me to take off from work and dispute charges with a tow truck company on my dime and time. When they finally got my car they deemed it as a total loss and left me with a balance of 4500 to pay back to the bank not to mention my adjuster never knew whether or not if the party that hit my vehicle had insurance. After weeks of me waiting for them to inform me I finally decided to call all insurance company with the information I had. Come to find out the other party had State Farm and wasn’t the listed driver and never reported the accident. However, I was told by my adjuster that she ran the plate number and didn’t find anything so she didn’t think they had insurance. So I then turned around and file a complaint with corporate and I received an email from Michael D. the claims manager who was very nasty, abrupt, and condescending. He never offered help what he told me was what my financial obligation was. Moving forward I filed a claim for loss wages because I was out of work due to injuries that happened in the accident. I went the whole month of august with no money and in the process my claims adjuster was changed twice. September came and I still didn’t receive anything for my loss wages claim. Then my adjuster tells me she needs paperwork from my employer filled out and sent back. I had that filled out and emailed back. A week later she says she needs confirmation from my job but couldn’t get in contact with them. I then three way my jobs employment department and the adjuster says she can’t speak to them while I’m on the phone. She turn around and emails my job employment department the same paper I filled out and emailed her back a week ago. I then speak to her supervisor and she was no help. She now tells me they have to call all the places I had medical treatment to see if it was in relations to the accident. By this time it’s now October. Now I receive a call by a adjuster saying she’ll now be taking over my case and I am entitled to something. Shortly after the first payment I received a letter in the mail with a followed up call by Devin S., the medical claims adjuster , who says I have to attend the doctors appointments as it will determine the state of my injuries. October 20 and 22 I went to the doctors they referred me to and they did a bunch of range of motion test. I advised both the doctors I was still in pain, feet swelling and lower back pain. I also advised them the only test done to me at the hospital was to check and see if I had internal bleeding to the head because I had a laceration to my head. Both doctors came to the conclusion in fine and there’s nothing wrong with me. I advised both of them i was having an MRI done and it was scheduled for November 1, 2021 because that’s the only available date they had open. Well Devin Salvione called me November 4 and 5 to tell me the doctors progressive referred me to said I’m fine and there’s nothing wrong with me including my spine. However, I advised Mr Salvione as per the MRI I received it states I have injuries to my lower back which is sitting on a nerve and causing my feet to swell. Mr Salvione said we’ll take that up with arbitration as of now your claim for loss wages is denied. I filed a complaint with corporate and I’m waiting to hear back from them.I’ll keep y’all updated

The transition of adding me into my family's policy was so simple with Progressive. They have accompanied my family for years and I cant wait for them to do the same for me!

Like most all insurance peddlers, Progressive employs some of the better liars in order to make a few more bucks for their bottom line. I had signed up for some vehicle insurance and was given a quote for what I wanted as coverage. I agreed with the price and coverage and authorized payment on my credit card. However, when I received the Declarations Page, it was immediately clear I was being charged for LESS than what I had informed Progressive I wanted - and they agreed to - in coverage. When I contacted Progressive about the "missing" coverage, I was told it could be added on - - for an additional cost.

I give it only 3 stars because it is pretty good rates for some people, unfortunately if you had even the smallest accident this could be the highest insurance. Also we found that it is better to shop and call. We did it on line and then called and they gave us abetter rate.

Hands down best insurance company I’ve used so far. I’ve only had a small incident and it was handled fairly well. My rates did not increase which is really good.

currrentl have progressive but they sent a bill of mine over to collections for a car i only had 6 days and they wanted me to pay for another month. Why would i pay for a month i no longer had the vehicle that they paid out for.

I just switched to Progressive and so far they have been really good in terms of what I get in my insurance and they also gave me a little discount since I am a college student.

We have all of our vehicles' auto insurance with Progressive Auto Insurance company for a couple of years. The annual premium is NOT the least one when we compared among different companies, but it has a great reputation. When one of the family member had a minor accident during the previous year, the premium increased, but is still reasonable.

I had Progressive Auto Insurance a couple years ago. My vehicle was totaled, at no fault of my own, and my auto insurance skyrocketed! They did pay me for my vehicle but when I went to get my new vehicle covered they wanted to charge me an arm an a leg because of the previous no-fault incident. Outrageous!

They are good as well but I think I wll rate geico above progressive just because of the premium. Geico mostly beats the price that progressive offers and I swtiched to Geico only because of that.

Overall not a bad company. You can access everything you need right online at their site. You can always speak to a person when you call. However, sometimes they pay a claim without even consulting you and getting your side of the story.

This was my first car insurance company and they gave us good rates but when someone hit the side of our car and damaged my mirror they didn’t help since 3 days prior we had gone to more limited coverage. It was frustrating because we had been paying higher premiums till that point and we wish they could’ve tried to work with us more.

I have not had any issues nor have I filed a claim with them. However, I have a close friend who brokers insurance she HIGHLY reccomends Progressive. Fair rate for what I get.

They are generally a good company. They’re expensive though and it doesn’t seem like the rewards for staying are worth it when their rates are always rising for no reason.

Was involved with a claim when I co signed for my sons pickup. It was stolen and they didn’t get things taken care of. I got insurance with them and was back and forth from Oregon to Arizona and they informed me I would be cancelled. So went elsewhere

Great prices easy to use web site nice customer service reps and always available to contact anytime progressive offeres a very inexpensive NOLO policy for people that need coverage when they don't own a car

Progressive has been great at keeping my insurance rates low and affordable. When I did file a claim they were quick to help resolve the situation. Very Pleased

I have not had the service for long, but the process to sign up was easy and so straightforward. The app makes it really simple and easy to review my plan.

Progressive saves me money on my auto insurance. Wayyyy cheaper and better coverage than I had before. I love the app that keeps everything neat and easily accessible

Not what i thought it was going to be (Flo) makes it sound better lol. Good service nice prices but it doesnt remain consistent on the bill $$ could have just been mine but i had trouble i used then about a year

The customer service is horrible. The inconsistency in information is beyond unprofessional. I don't feel they fight to get the best rate or even care if customers or happy. During Covid I had awful experience with them that will haunt me forever. I'm leaving as soon as I get a new car. I figure If I have to shell out my money every month I deserve to be with a company that at least pretends to care. Progressive do better.

Progressive was a joke. Was in an accident and my insurance company took sides with the individual who ran the traffic light and hit me. The individual received several tickets from the cops and was deemed at fault by the police officer. Asked to speak to the supervisor of the agent who was handling my case. She never responded. Had to get an attorney to get help with this insurance company and i was there customer and not the individual who was at fault. Flo, you are a lier.

As a Lyft driver and a diamond costermer was hit from behind in a parking lot. There was no investigation I was disavowed by progressive and refused service. 1 year prior my wife was hit in the drivers side back door of a four door f150 on a four lain road speed limit 35 the impact moved the B post 15 inches and flung a 5800lbp truck over 100 feet in a side skid. The jaws of life had to be used to get my wife out of the truck. Because the speeding truck tires that hit her climbed half way up the door. My wife was hospitalized for 2 day with a collapsed lung and two broken ribs. My wife was found at fault.

Been with them for 5 years for our autos and motorcycles . Their partners wanted too much for the homeowners insurance so I stayed with my current company.
