Allstate's Mexico Tourist Auto Insurance offers protection for physical damage and theft, bodily injury or property damage, medical payments, legal assistance, loan or lease payoff for a totaled new car, roadside assistance, and medical evacuation.

This is by far the WORSE insurance company. I had an accident who the other driver was at fault. I still had to pay my deductible to have my car fixed. They said I’d get reimbursed && never did! It’s been over a year ago. I literally have to go through court to get my money back && everything! They’ll cover your car but, if you have to come out of pocket at all you won’t be getting that money back! Even if it’s obviously the other person’s fault without a doubt! They didn’t have my back at all! So if you’re with them && someone else is at fault for the accident you should immediately lawyer up! I have all the proof as the other person swerved off the road before connecting with me. The deputy who came out also found her at fault && wrote up a fantastic to the point report but, then I still had to dig into my children’s Christmas money ($750) to pay the deductible that they didn’t even try to get back && here I am over a year later having to still deal with all this with a lawyer. I would NEVER recommend this insurance to anyone for any reason. This was absolutely absurd && if I can keep one person from what I’m going through from this situation then I’m happy I wrote it. They’re expensive && they won’t even have your back to help you get your hard earned money back for! I would go to ANY other car insurance company other then Allstate! I can’t get into the exact details but, when this is over I will come back && tell everything && what happens. Save yourself the stress, time && money. Don’t waste your money on a company that will not have your back! They rather just pay for damages, you pay your deductible && not get lawyers involved! They don’t want to put the time && effort into helping you && doing what is best && right for you in this situation. One word……. RUN!!!

The Allstate claims adjuster that I spoke with a couple weeks ago about an accident that I had involving one of THEIR drivers was SO rude and unprofessional with my mother and me. I couldn’t believe it! She kept making excuses for not answering my claims adjuster’s voicemails because she was on vacation! It didn’t make any sense. They claimed that they had to do an investigation to determine whether or not their driver was truly at fault even though she really was! The police report clearly put her at fault for jumping in front of me by making a sudden left turn from her house in the middle of the road causing me to crash onto the shoulder into a bunch of concrete blocks. This seriously damaged my car and I needed them to determine that she was at fault and responsible for paying my auto repair costs. Instead they took forever to do this, prolonging my ability to get into a rental car so we just had to file with my own insurance. I’d give them zero stars if I could, they’re absolutely useless.

Absolutely terrible highly unethical borderline illegal practices you will most certainly NOT be in good hands with Allstate! I was forced into making a decision that I protested from the beginning and the damage was well over 75% of the cars value and they forced the mechanic to make the repairs not till the parts were ordered (at AllStates request not mine) did I sign the check because at that point I absolutely had no choice in the matter! I expressed my concern numerous times but they ignored me due to the fact it was uninsured motorist claim is all that I can figure...this wasn’t even my fault!! I buy insurance so when bad stuff happens I’m covered and this was not the case here!! Worst experience I’ve ever had

Allstate - I had to file a claim as someone hit my parked car. Allstate approved the claim and sent me to their preferred repair shop. The repairs were great.... However, after telling me they issued payment to my account electronically the money never showed up. My car was repaired and If I wanted it is have to pay out of my own pocket. I paid thousands of dollars to the shop and Allstate didn't care! I spent a total of 6 hours on the phone with claims and made at least 20 phone calls to their office and my agent. No one was any help and I had to explain every time I called. I was hung up on and treated like I was trying to cheat them out of money. They acknowledged that they could see the money was never sent to my account but since they did not know where they had sent it then I had to wait till they resolved. I have had Allstate for years and never once late for a payment. After threatening to take them to court they finally cut me a check. I will be shopping for a new insurance company immediately.

If you are covered by Allstate, they have very good lawyers to make sure you don't have to pay much if you get in an accident. If you get hit by someone who is insured by Allstate, you are screwed. I have never dealt with such a rude and unforgiving insurance company. And quite frankly, if I was the person that seriously injured someone else and my insurance company gave them nothing, I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

Not reliable, after 3 years of marriage to my new wife they NEVER could get it together enough to get her name right after repeated request verbally and in writing. Unprofessional, not honest, when I had complaints about our agent the number I was given by that agent to their "corporate office" and what I could find online sent me back to my agents office that I had a complaint about, very shady they police themselves. We moved on to another Insurer and now getting much better service, better coverage at a lower premium rate.

I have been unfortunate enough to experience car accidents with them. Their "discounts" make up more than 60% of your monthly payments. Due to an accident I have been fighting for my innocence. They haven't backed me and doubled my monthly payment. I have no accidents nor tickets on my record. I went in front of a judge about the responsibility of the accident and he found me not at fault. Allstate won't investigate anymore nor back me up on my claims.

I made the mistake of going to Allstate (Steve P) , bad move! Gave me a quote, a month later it was different and higher. When I cancelled, I sent a cancellation letter for both my home and vehicles, they owed me over 2 months refund, sent a check for $2 and change. I've made several attempts to get this corrected, Steve will never call back and Mercedes (the assistant???) was just as unconcerned. I even called the headquarters to no avail. Stay away from Allstate or at least the one in Brooklyn or LI City, not sure which; if the name is Steve P, run. Trust me, I don't believe in bashing a business; but this one, I'm giving fair warning!!!!

my payment was not processed on time and my vehicle was not covered. i didn't find this out until i was pulled over due to one of my rear lights wasn't working. i was so shocked when i was told my vehicle is not covered. i was so upset and called Allstate immediately. i was on hold for ever, then transferred to the right department, put on hold again for 20 mins. i spoke to 3 agents who couldn't tell me what happened. finally someone called back and said i didn't make a payment on time. i called my bank and they verified that my check was cleared a 9 days before the due date. no one apologized to me they put blame on me and didn't care that i was driving around with NO coverage. that was the last time i did business with Allstate Auto Insurance.

I was hit by another driver who admitted fault and was not found at fault by the police, but Allstate still said I was at fault, paid for the other drivers repairs and then doubled my rates two months later. I found another company to give my business too and got a better rate for my good driving record.

Allstate provides poor customer service. I was a customer for 7 years and they treated my horribly when my car was hit on the side of the road (parked). They more than doubled my deductible for a reason that I could not understand. I told them I was leaving their company. They didn't even respond to my complaint. This is a bad company.

Worst company I have ever dealt with please do not waste time this company charges for ever little thing instead of things being included in your policy if you want a rental car in case of emergencies you’ll have to pay extra for roadside assistance rental car service at the end it’s not worth it you can find a better company that has these things included into the price you’ll pay monthly for car insurance I did like geico very nice company

i had Esurance which is backed by Allstaye...totally dissatisfied. They only offered me 6month plan instead of 1yr...and rayes went up every time without fail.Seemed like a typical "bait and switch" to me. Thumbs down!!!

I was in an accident with a driver who was insured with Allstate and it has been almost five years later and Allstate still has not paid me for the accident and I was hit from behind while sitting at a red light. They tried to offer me less for my injuries than they paid to get my car fixed.

I had this company ever since I was in college. I dropped them about 2 years ago. I switched from this company to Farmers. At farmers they told me that they did not know why every year six months they increased the insurance price. They told me that doing that was wrong.

We weren't aware they had lost our payment check. When we tried to renew our policy and they said we weren't insured and wanted to charge us high risk rates when we were not high risk and only uninsured through their clerical error.
