100% Money-Back Guarantee

Wesley Financial Group offers customers a money-back guarantee.

The company's Service Agreement with each client determines with specificity the types of termination that will satisfy the guarantee.

If their timeshare ownership is not terminated during the contractually agreed upon timeframe, then WFG, upon written request from the client, will refund 100 percent of the fee that the client paid to Wesley Financial.

Straightforward Timeshare Exit Process

This timeshare exit company has a simple, transparent process, with four simple steps:

  1. First, a timeshare owner signs up for a free consultation.
  2. An Account Director is assigned to create a file and assist clients in having their account approved for guaranteed cancellation.
  3. Next, the Resolution Department will work around the clock to have the client's contract permanently terminated. Clients are assigned a single point of contact and will receive timely and regular updates from them on their account.
  4. The last step is clients being timeshare free. Once everything is sorted and the timeshare is canceled, clients will receive confirmation and can celebrate.

Personalized Customer Care

When you work with Wesley Financial Group, you are assigned a case manager to guide you throughout the process. No matter the industry, consumers appreciate having an actual person, whose name they know,  that is familiar with your situation to call or email, rather than just a hotline covered by all-purpose service agents.

Experienced Company Leadership

Wesley customers benefit from the company's expert leadership. Wesley Financial Group CEO Chuck McDowell is known as a pioneer of the timeshare advocacy industry. Born and raised in Tennessee, McDowell started his first company in 1982 and spent some time as a stockbroker. He later joined the insurance industry before becoming a sales representative for Wyndham Destinations — the world's most extensive vacation ownership and exchange company.

While working for Wyndham timeshare sales for less than a year, McDowell learned that the timeshare industry was not what he thought it was. He felt that the company encouraged deceitful tactics to get consumers to buy a timeshare. He left the industry to work for the opposing side, fighting for consumer rights.

search

Highlight: CEO Chuck McDowell stood up to Wyndham, the biggest timeshare company in the world.

Soon after leaving timeshare sales (and helping people get their money back), Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Inc. filed a $5.9 million lawsuit against McDowell. Against the odds, McDowell withstood the suit and won. It took a jury less than 20 minutes to side with McDowell in Federal Court.

To this day, McDowell continues to fight against timeshare fraud.

A timeshare obligation can quickly grow over time. The WFG website has a helpful calculator tool to help timeshare owners understand their growing maintenance fees.

The Bad

  • Prospective Client Vetting

Prospective Clients Vetting

Wesley Financial Group uses a thorough review process to vet prospective clients. Not everyone is accepted. Several factors determine the eligibility of each timeshare owner, including the following:

  • Which resort developer your timeshare agreement is with — WFG works to cancel timeshare contracts from over 300 timeshare companies and vacation ownership programs
  • What you were told during the timeshare sales pitch and signup process

Not everyone looking to get rid of an unwanted timeshare will be accepted as a client by this timeshare relief company.

CALL THE TIMESHARE YOURSELF AND BE PRESISTENT. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. SAVE YOURSELF THOUSANDS!! You can do this on your own. We did. Stay consistent with your phone calls and emails. You should call the Timeshare yourself and ask about cancellation FIRST before signing with Wesley Financial Group. This is the only way to know what you are in for. The initial sales pitch with Wesley Financial Group felt like shifting from one Timeshare to another. During your on boarding calls, they really push you to watch a 40min video. Talks about how they are looking out for you and can help you not get taken advantage of. We should have listened to our instinct. I am sharing my experience. Our story with dealing with Wesley Financial Group. Starting off, we feel fully taken advantage of. Long story short, Wesley Financial had us send 2 generic / template emails to the Timeshare company. My wife spent the weekend working with the Timeshare company via phone calls. By the way, you are the middle man in this process. Since Wesley is not a legal team, YOU DO ALL the work. They provide you the most generic emails to forward over. This is when you start to think " I could have sent a more professional email" or " Maybe I should have called myself". YOU CAN AND YOU SHOULD, before signing with Wesley Financial Group. We have asked for a possible refund, offered for them to keep what we have paid and stop any further payments. No budging or middle ground met. My wife worked the closure of the contract with the Timeshare company. Wesley Financial Group is charging us the full $7,000 and thinks 2 generic emails removed us from the contract. NO, MY WIFE DID! Now we have been going round and round, because the Leadership team thinks there is no reason to stop any further payments. I am sorry, but 2 simple emails does not justify $7,000 nor did that get us out of our Timeshare contract. In this process, we had a better experience working with the Timeshare. Not the same for Wesley Financial Group. A bunch of run around conversations, and talking in circles. I was on the phone with our "Resolution Specialist", which sounds like a call center environment. While on the phone with our Specialist, I heard the phone conversations in the back ground and it sure does sound like a lot of unhappy people calling in. I guess they need a "Resolution Specialist" call center. In the end, we pretty much get a response of you signed the document. Their Leadership team is not going to budge on this. No one from the Leadership Team joins the call, you just have your "Resolution Specialist". That is as close as you get to the Leadership Team. This company misrepresented itself bigtime. If I can help someone not lose thousands of dollars. That is what this review is for. SAVE yourself money, time, and the headache of this company taking advantage of you. CALL YOURSELF, YOU CAN DO IT!! Do your research and get past the "good reviews". Remember, Wesley Finical Group is NOT a legal team. Keep in mind, you are going to pay them thousands of dollars for work YOU are going to have to do. I hope this helps someone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Erik. We understand that every timeshare situation is unique, which is why we do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we tailor our guidance and support to each client's individual circumstances while advocating for them throughout the timeshare cancellation process. Before any resolution efforts begin, we thoroughly review our enrollment agreement both verbally and in writing to ensure our clients have a clear understanding of our services, processes, expectations, and refund policies. With more than 15 years of experience helping clients navigate timeshare cancellations, our goal is always to provide informed guidance and work toward the best possible outcome. While some owners are able to resolve their timeshare matters independently, others find that doing so can lead to being persuaded to retain or even expand their ownership. Our role is to help clients navigate that process with confidence and support. We're pleased that your timeshare matter was ultimately resolved. We take concerns like yours seriously and have forwarded your feedback to our leadership team for review. If you would like to speak to our Client Services team, please reach out to us at (615) 560-7422 so we can discuss your concerns directly.

I would like to resolve my issues with Wesley Financial! Hopefully the Department of Consumer Affairs, State of Tennessee will resolve my complaint. If not then other measures will have to be taken.

I have requested on multiple occasions that you stopped mailing me invites to get rid of my timeshare and stop emailing me about the same information. You are sending this information to my email but you're asking for my husband Dennis. My husband died 10 years ago and I have sent you a season assist letter already. Any further communication will be results in a lawsuit for harassment and intentional inflection emotional distress. Can you imagine the trauma of opening an email and seeing that it's asking for my dead husband?

Wesley Financial Group Review – Extremely Disappointed Our experience with Wesley Financial Group has been nothing short of frustrating. The customer service has been the worst I’ve ever encountered. I requested a log of their communication with my timeshare, which should be a basic level of transparency, but they outright refused to provide it. Additionally, I submitted our signed settlement, expecting it to be processed in a timely manner. Instead, it’s apparently sitting in a pile at their headquarters, waiting for bulk mailing—an absolutely unacceptable delay. Given the significant financial commitment we made, this level of service is beyond disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone considering Wesley Financial Group to think twice. Their lack of communication, unwillingness to provide updates, and inefficient processing make for a highly stressful and unsatisfactory experience.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. At Wesley Financial Group, we aim to provide honest and clear services. We regret that you felt misled by our process. We have located your information and can confirm that our team has previously contacted you about your concerns. In October, we went over the process, timeline, and what to expect for the first step. We try to reach out to our clients regularly, especially with any updates about their cancellation. Unfortunately, it looks like there were several times we couldn’t get in touch with you, we left follow-up voicemails, and had a call drop. We tailor our procedures to each timeshare ownership and apologize for any confusion or lack of communication you experienced. We have sent your concerns to upper management, and someone will contact you soon for further clarification. If you have immediate questions, please reach out to our client services department at 615-560-7442.

Don’t fall for this!! We paid Wesley Financial 8K up front for assistance , after speaking to their agent, they took our information from their “on-boarding” template, sent us back a copy and paste letter to send our timeshare. There was nothing unique in their services. We found our timeshare group helpful and resourceful in requesting to exit/cancel our ownership and commitment. You can easily do what Wesley Financial Group offers with AI assistance in drafting your request to cancel your timeshare. My hope is that Wesley FG gives back most of our hard earned savings because what they have done for us even at even a consulting fee wouldn’t have been more than $1,250 (5 hours @ $250/hr). They need to be honest about cost up front, and explain what their hourly fees are and why. Not just a blanket cost. I don’t believe they did anything for us to exit/cancel our timeshare which we could have done ourself. Their on boarding technique gets you in their system, all the rest is on you. No special help at all.

Ray, we regret to hear that your experience with our services did not meet your expectations. It can be difficult to exit a timeshare on your own and may result in being sold more time or points. Our team has years of experience with various ownership situations and we strive to negotiate and provide strategies to achieve the best solution. Before starting to work with us, we go over our policies, procedures, client participation, potential outcomes, and fees. Each cancellation process is tailored to the unique circumstances of our clients, with their satisfaction being our utmost priority in facilitating full resolution. While our goal is to secure favorable outcomes for all of our clients, the results can vary. Your feedback has been shared with our management team and we tried to reach out to you yesterday, June 20th, via phone, voicemail, and email. Through our process, you are almost timeshare free. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our client services department at 615-560-7442.

I never got past the the acceptance interview with a said “VP”! Totally disappointed with someone who was not qualified to handle a financial transaction that could barely read the script in front of him. The pressure was as bad if not worse than the salesman who coralled us into our original purchase over 30 years ago. At the cost of almost 6k and up to a 5 year period of “possible resolution “. I don’t feel it’s worth it for our circumstances. Just a total let down on the expectations after watching a 30 minute YouTube on the company’s vision and goals. Very well staged I must say. I’m sure this organization has helped many people but, definitely not my style of relationship with an organization. Good luck!

If I could put a zero I would, DO NOT go with this company! They make you do all the leg work, they don't contact the company at all they expect you to. We stopped paying on our time share, it went into default due to non payment and we received a letter of forfeiture due to non payment. I received a letter from wesley financial saying congratulations your timeshare has been canceled. Umm, not by anything this company did like they said they would. I am not released from paying and now my credit is taking a hit and the mineys are still owed, you know what they did, send me an email to a credit recovery service. How is this them getting our membership canceled? Going into default for non payment? That had nothing to do with them. And their advertisement says they get it to where u won't have to pay fees and annual payments.. no they dont!! Very very very upset 😡 unsatisfied, and want our money back because they did nit get our membership canceled like they said. We got our membership canceled due to non payment and it going into default.

If I could, I would give them no stars! They are worse than the timeshare companies, nothing but lies. False promises, and false hope- the only thing Wesley can actually guarantee. Their company claims to want to help you, and that they are the good people; however, they are only after your money. Their customer service is pretty much non-existent, good luck hearing from them more than once a month- and if you don't reach out them to, probably even longer! Thousands of dollars spend for them to "help" us get out of the timeshare, but actually they didn't help at all. The outcome of it resulted in us still owing the timeshare company, and a significant drop in credit score since we were told to stop paying. Do NOT hire this company, you are better off contacting them yourself to get out of your own timeshare. Do not believe all the positive reviews, they are fake- and at every opportunity, they will delete the truthful reviews.

This company claims to help you exit your time share, but that is not our experience. After a few months of instruction and advice from Wesley Financial, they sent a round of employees--one after another--to work with us. Each one was new, and we started again. Last year we were contacted by our time share company and asked if we wanted to deed back our time share. Wesley Financial had nothing to do with it. We were told by the time share to contact their lawyer, and the deed was sent back to the time share in less than three weeks--all total. The response from Wesley Financial to our comment on the Better Business Bureau website was, "We reviewed your file and we see that your timeshare has been cancelled." They had no knowledge that our time share was cancelled because they had nothing to do with it. We paid $5,000 for little to no help.

I contacted Wesley about 4 years ago and every time I see their commercials now, I get mad all over again thinking about the money I wasted paying them to do nothing really. Although I was able to get out of the timeshare agreement, I felt like I was scammed all over again. I paid about $7,000 for something I could've done myself for free! All they did was told me to call the timeshare's customer service and gave me a script to read to them and after a couple of phone calls they let me out of the contract. What they did was not worth the $7,000 I paid! Not worth the money! The more I think about it the more I wanna sue them to get my $7,000 back.....

Horrible experience here! I signed up paid over 5K and never was able to hardly talk to anyone, my welcome call took forever to get and when it came I was out of town away from all my paperwork they said they would call the next week. I called them two weeks later and took forever to talk to them. When I said I wanted to cancel because of lack of communication and the fact I felt they were taking advantage of me it took over a month again, I had to remind them I have not been canceled and a week or so later I finally got the call to cancel. Complete failure on their part and they were not even willing to refund which shows they truly do not care. Way to treat a retired military member and member of the clergy people! I rate them with the timeshare industry they claim to get us out of!

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We take all client feedback seriously and are committed to transparency. After thoroughly reviewing your file, we can confirm that you signed our enrollment agreement on January 24, 2025. This agreement outlines our services, policies, procedures, and money-back guarantee. These details are not only provided in writing but also discussed verbally to ensure a clear understanding before moving forward. It is also important to note that Wesley does not provide loan modification or loan negotiation services. Our organization assists individuals in exiting unwanted timeshare ownerships, relieving them of further obligation. In some instances, timeshare developers may impose an exit fee as part of their termination process. This possibility is explained during the initial consultation with our Vice Presidents and is also included in the enrollment agreement. We understand that you've expressed dissatisfaction with the process and the resolution offered. Our team has been in contact with you via email, as requested, to discuss these concerns and try to reach an amicable solution. Upon your request to discontinue services, we provided a comprehensive summary of the work completed on your behalf and subsequently extended a resolution offer for your review. If you would like to revisit the timeline of actions taken on your behalf or discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact us directly.
