I was told by the previous firm that i needed to go to tax court. This was going to cost 100k plus... i got a 2nd opinion from GATL. They told me there were non tax court options that wouldn't involved a full scale trial. I got a 3rd opinion and that actually validated GATL's synopsis, so i hired GATL. Instead of having to pay such a hefty retainer it was about 25% of what the first firm tried to quote me. They did things on a flat basis, and it was inside the framework of a real contract. The case took only 1 year, and now its done.. i can move on about my day and keep operating my business unencumbered by the IRS. Muchas Gracias from me :)

On the up and up, to say the least. When does anyone need a tax lawyer? Almost never... i didn't think in a million years i would, but then came the audit of my business... i had an accountant but it was above her pay grade. She was out of her league. Enter these guys. ... They literally submitted my revenue officer. Her attitude went from "im gonna get you" to, "ok ok, i know ur clients not happy with being audited, but can you throw me a bone"... and thats what happened.
