Overall I love Spotify. I have used it for 10+ years. Great app, strong library of music, and good pricing. Wish it worked better with Siri and iOS, OS X platforms as an alternative to Apple Music.

Spotify's great for background music, but if you don't pay for premium, it's harder to listen to a specific song. It was nice to have premium for the three months of the free trial they gave me.

Love the service. Love the features. It does not integrate well with Alexa. I had the family plan. Unfortunately, Spotify will only allow one Alexa device to play at a time. My kids could not listen to music at the same time in different rooms. Amazon music and Apple Music both allow multiple Alexa devices

I think Spotify is good for people who like music that isn't as well known because Spotify has those songs available while Apple Music doesn't. I just think Spotify is more complicated than Apple Music.

Spotify is my third favorite music streaming service. The biggest issue I have with Spotify is that I feel they repeat a lot of the same songs over and over. Maybe they dont have quite the selection of music, or maybe they’re trying to cater to what’s popular, but either way I hate hearing the same songs over and over again.
