I am still waiting for our inverter that went down in June to be replaced and we are almost in August. The ENTIRE REASON we have solar panels is to offset the electricity for the HOTTEST MONTH OF THE YEAR IN TEXAS....AUGUST. Also. We are not getting updates from Wells Solar. You would think they would be contacting us once a week for an update, but No. We have even referred a few of our friends that have purchased. Their customer service has tanked to unacceptable. We were going to have them put in a pergola, but now I'm going to consider other options if they can't handle a simple inverter change that is covered by the warranty.

Don't continue your project with them in current standing. I signed and financed for them to install solar a month ago, but I just received word that they are going bankrupt soon or bought out. I was wondering what was taking so long with my city permit after I got HOA and utility approvals. I did a public search and indeed, they never filed it. Appears they are having money flow issues and didn't have the funds to pay permit fee. In addition, like 60% of their staff is fired or gone. I tried to call all three of their branch offices to verify what is going on, and I got the same "not open" message even though it's during their operational hours in message.

The most unethical company I have ever dealt with. On February 3rd. 2022 (16 months ago!), we sent a bank transfer to Wells Solar that represented a 50% deposit ($14,400) for the purchase and installation of two Tesla Powerwalls, for which they promised imminent delivery. The Powerwalls have never been delivered. Their range of excuses for why they have never been delivered is sublime! For the record, Good Faith Energy delivered and installed the two Tesla Powerwalls within 60 days. The product is available on the market. According to their contract, WS is obligated to return the deposit within 7-10 days after termination of service. It has been over 70 days. After filing a complaint with the BBB, WS promised to return the funds between 30-60 days. It has been over 70 days. Wells Solar is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with. Legal action is the only recourse now.

Terrible company. Over a year and still do not have a functioning system. They cant even turn it on because they can't satisfy the utility company (NBU) that will allow them to turn it on. Sold us a Tesla power wall and then when it came time to install it they said they didn't have any. When they finally did get them, they wanted us to buy it even thought they still do not have the system approved and running. The broke several water lines during the install that they did not fix, and left a huge mess of my yard that I had to fix myself. If I could undo this tragedy, I would.

Although it started with a good experience once the contract was signed, it was confusing and complicated. We made 2 payments before they even fully installed the equipment. Now 6 months later we are still waitin to get the generator that was promised upon signing the contract. Called and emailed at least 20 times and still no eta and keep getting we will get back to you. Really dissatisfied

Called Wells Solar for service, they came out replace optimizers, did not fix problem, they never returned to trouble shoot to fix issues, sent me a link to do a review of satisfaction, when I put the truth they immediately sent me an invoice for $285.00 for not fixing my issues, will pursue remediation through BBB or State Attorney consumer protection.

We tried to buy a generator from this company and we put up a deposit to get the 2021 price. They cannot find a place that works for the generator and now they won't give our deposit back. They work backward instead of looking at the property and agreeing that a generator would work, they do as a last step. They told me I would get my deposit back and have not. Be careful if you do business with them.

Be warned! I spent 26000.00 on solar. The worst single purchase of my life. System never worked and they are very evasive in figuring out what the issue is. They hire cheap labor that doesn't understand the system. I'm selling the whole thing for 5000 just to forget about this idiots! I hope they get sued!

Wells solar is closed and has made off with my deposit. Buyer beware. Wells abruptly closed and left my project half-finished and has not refunded my deposit (6K) on an additional project. I have filed a claim with the FTC and AG office. Hopefully, justice is not too far behind them.

Don't do it. Projects are oversold. Warranty charges $ 80 everytime they come out to repair the system. Parts are slow to come in. In my opinion this company is spread to thin to maintain their clients equipment and to install new customers equipment. Regards Fred S

I started looking for a solar company and signed with Wells solar in May of this year. I wanted panels and a battery. It is now December and the project has not started. I’m not sure this company should be voted in the top ranks of solar companies.

They ripped me off in 2016. I sued them and won. Now, my system is broken and they are ghosting me. They will not honor their warranty. I would not recommend this company at all
