Installation scheduling and execution were excellent, including interactions with HOA and Duke Energy. Performance of Solar panels are up and running . Didn't think they would work during the winter but the snow comes right off. A problem with network communication of the inverter was identified. I think Jeff said cellular wasn't strong enough signal. They came out at no charge and hardwired my monitoring. We would definitely recommend Universal Solar to anyone interested in solar.

They can install the box inside your garage at no additional cost, when other companies routinely install theirs outside. They also paint and label your exterior conduit. This is another install benefit other companies charge you for. My HOA requested it was painted and they had no problem doing it.

Everything was done on time and not pass their first inspection and they passed inspection on the first time. They did accommodate by sending some out to open the garage because the inspector needed access. It is saving me money on my electric bills and everything is working fine.

They have been in business since 2012 and have been doing solar since it started. We are hardly paying anything in the summer because of what we bank in the Spring and Fall.

They used really good equipment and made sure to put inverter in garage. I see a lot of inverters outside. The owner even came out to check on the installers and brought them lunch and drinks to keep them cool. Think it's family run and was impressed.

Typically we have only have a fifteen dollar bill every month. One month our bill was over $100 and they were honest and explained the whole situation and made sure they did it correctly. They reimbursed my downtime of my solar and my calls are always returned. Even the receptionist would try to solve my problem and that didn’t work. The owner even called which I couldn't believe. Universal Solar Direct has excellent customer service made the end-to-end retail solar panel process a 5-star experience. They worked closely with us to ensure a seamless and cost effective design, estimate, purchase, and install on our 2600sqft home in Phoenix, AZ. Even though we were out of town during a large portion of the project they ensured everything was taken care. They had a checklist of online forms to fill out, and took care of submitting required HOA and SRP documents. Start to finish took less than two months. Enjoying minuscule electricity bills and looking forward to expanding system for future battery storage system and EV charging plugin.
