They have yet to fulfill the expectations that they laid out for us. We paid for a system that would supposedly cover 95% of our yearly electrical bill. After one year it has only covered 50% of electrical costs. Their customer service has been less than satisfactory. Currently we are trying to settle on a deal for us to get our money’s worth. At the rate we are going now we will have paid off our system in 60 years. The solar panels don’t even last that long. We were hoping for a better investment. Solgen has been very slow to communicate with us and they struggle to find solutions and answers to our problems

It was a circus of miscommunication and frustration. Scheduling mistakes, some work had to be done twice due to equipment errors, some work left half-done for weeks, hard-sell bait/switch sales pitch, lack of coordination with various agencies, weeks and weeks of no communication at all. Company contacts changing for no reason, often with no clear description of contacts' function. The system, once fully installed, seems to be working fine, though.

It's been months since it was installed and it is still not working. They were supposed to send someone to fix it and they haven't sent anyone. We've been through like five different people. They try to tell us that it is working and then we get the energy bill and it shows it is not. They do not follow through with what they promised.

This has been a nightmare. The followup is still ongoing I rarely decide any updates, I'm still waiting for service it's been several months side the panels were installed. PSE won't approve the Solgen work has completed. I haven't heard any updates from Solgen. I'm sure ilk have to call again.

Panels installed Dec 2020, Electrical panal installed January 2021, still work was not completed until June 2021 and none of your account managers know what's going on. Very little follow up and follow through. If I decide to add more panels later, I would never call Solgen.

Trash company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't even get me started with the headache we've gone through with this company. Not only that but this company plain out lied to us about the 10,000 check we would receive as well. I absolutely don't recommend them. We are still dealing with paying payments to our solar system and it's not even installed or even in the works of being put up. No one in this company seems to know what's going on. Running around the city of Tucson to help them do their job. Super aggravating.Why am I being billed when you haven't even broken ground on the project and it's been over 2 years since signing contractThanks for not showing up to your schedule appointment this morning. Not even a call or message sent from you to inform us. We had to call you! We lost out going to work because of you too. Now you're costing us $$. Y'all need to get your affairs in order. I'm over this absolutely poorly run company. Zack is no help!Nothing like feeling victimized by a company thanks Solgen Power - Arizona Solgen Power . You've literally put us through the freaking ringer and made us extremely upset. Installation personnel really good. customer support for the startup even better. but when finally was time to let go, and was transfer to Solgen Power Headquarters at Pasco WA. all when down to hell. support is terrible, will never give you a real solution. and will just keep you postponing you, and the promise to get back to you. just to tell you the same thing over and over. it is working to expectation. and you are looking at your phone at the application they provided for you to see how much is producing. and it is at 40% in the middle of the day on a nice clear sky. **Edit 3** 3rd city inspection has now failed and as it's 3 days before Christmas, on a project began in APRIL, it would seem this project will be going into month #9. Still no working unit. **Edit 2** Hmmm, I can't post this as a 0 star review. Chatted with customer service today and nobody can tell me when to expect the 3rd attempt at a city inspection. On top of that, they are now texting and emailing me for referrals so I can enter a contest for a $50,000 installation credit. After 2 failed inspections, a complete lack of communication, 8 months without a functional system, and no estimate for when the 3rd inspection can even happen, there's no way I'd recommend them to someone else. **Edit** Solgen got my review and graciously credited me 6 months worth of payments, which is nice... BUT... the city inspector was out a 2nd time and the inspection failed AGAIN. So going into month 8 (April to December) with a non-functional system. He left notes on the blueprints for them to follow and will text/email me a copy so I know exactly what needs to happen and can get the Solgen crews on task. The installed Sense sensor shows 0w generated since 11/1, so even once the inspections are done and the system is finally enabled, we won't see actual power generation until... ? What? March? 11 months after I initiated the process? **Original Review** Overall, nice people, but slow installation and poor communication. We started the process of solar installation in April, 2022. I was assured we would be able to follow the process, step by step, in the app... which was only true up to a point. We stopped getting updates in June and after that it took continual calls and emails to find out where we were in the process. Part of the problem was permitting through the City of Portland, but I was able to find out through my calls that updates WERE happening, they just weren't being communicated to me. Installation was finally completed 6 months later, October, 2022, just before the first bill was due, but the installation failed inspection, was not able to be turned on, and we're back to radio silence. 7 months after starting the process, I'm paying for a non-functional solar installation with no word yet on how or when it will be working, at a time of year when my solar production is apparently 0w anyway. Overall, as much as I LIKE the IDEA of solar power, would not reccomend.

Unfortunately due to the design phone call alone. I have to say they have poor customer service. The first gentleman I talked to was very nice helpful and told a lot. The gentleman who called from design from the moment the call started had a poor attitude and made it very clear it was a waste of his time because the guy previously was new and should have told me they couldn’t. The design gentleman wasn’t even willing to discuss option other than to give them a blue print of my house and I would need to cut down 10 plus trees before they would even talk about it, after being told it was something they could do.

Solgen left a broken piece of eaves after doing their job two years ago & would not return to fix it. This year, they poorly “fixed” it, and now will not return mine or my realtors phone calls to get it properly fixed. I do not recommend doing any business with this company, they are very difficult to work with and will only tell you that they will “get back to you” when there is an issue and never actually do.

I decided to go a different direction for my solar needs and this company has not stopped reaching out for two weeks straight. It’s almost at the point of harassment. Please be wary of offering them your phone number as I have blocked 10+ numbers and asked them multiple times to stop calling to no avail.

Run far away from this company as fast as you can, they will rip you off. I've got over $30k invested in a solar system from this company and no working system at all. Waste of time and allot of money. Im a retired handicapped citizen and was taken advantage of by this company. No communication or call backs or follow upon any kind. Run like hell.
