The team at Solar Optimum put together a plan to fit our needs. After all was said and done, the plan worked perfectly for us. Even with the gloomy weather we had here in Southern California we’re still producing slightly more then we use. Can’t wait till the sun comes out!! Everyone on the team was friendly and explained what they were doing at every stage. Software is also very cool.

Solar Optimum was very efficient in the whole process from my reaching out to the final installation. I am at 95118. It took only one month to finish everything from signing the contract to my seeing the panel working on the Enphase app. (My roof and panel are in pretty good shape that also helped making this possible). They also noticed ahead of me that one of my 20 inverters was not working properly and quickly sent a technician to fix it. In my particular case, I think they worked perfectly.

All I can say is that they promised me 70 - 75 days from start to finish and that was delivered on point. Not sure if this is true for everyone but Im very happy on my end. I highly recommend. Easy to talk to and always a available. I was able recommend my dad and a co worker. They already their system up and running as well . If you want true professionals if this field go call solar optimum. I had the best experience and Im almost certain you will too.

When initially shopping and interviewing various Solar companies, I ultimately selected Solar Optimum. i found they were always available for my many questions. I am pleased with the final result of the installation, power generation is 50 to 100 % of needs depending on season, sunlight hours and weather, I expect this to improve. Spring, Summer and Fall. Batteries are great to have. Customer service follows thru well in most cases. Installers were diligent and polite, quality of workmanship is acceptable but can stand some improvement. however with some persistence they did complete open issues. Hoping to receive all rebates and incentives, yet to see. BTW, I did overpay a bill and Solar Optimum caught it and did refund me the over payment, Thank you I would recommend Solar Optimum to others.

The competitive price was a very large factor in my choosing Solar Optimum to install my solar system; however, my experience throughout the process was very good once I understood that different departments handled different aspects of the installation. The referral to the WPCCU (credit union) for my loan was simply great, and my raise in my social security essentially makes the payments for the loan. Lastly, I found all represetatives of Solar Optimum very courteous and professional.

After comparing the technology (solar panel and inverters offered), price quoted, and customer reviews, I went with Solar Optimum. Solar was very pleasant to work with; the technician took the time to explain how everything worked while the installation was being done. Solar Optimum had to do things in steps because they had to wait on PGE for approval, but once things were approved, it took no time to get the solar up and running. I had a little issue with the installation, and Solar fixed it the following week. I am happy to recommend Solar Optimum to anyone that needs Solar.

Wish I had found them to install my solar panels but at least I found them to install my battery storage to tie in with the panels. The installation crew Ara, Kenny, Zhora and Zach were professional, knowledgable, and courteous. Best of all, I can't thank the supervisor Rene enough for making what can potentially be stressful issues so painless. Rene is amazingly upbeat and on the ball the whole time.

If you want to get solar in California, this is the place. I talked to so many companies and this place beat them all by far in customer service, warranties, pricing, financing options, and energy production from their panels. I've had them for a week and the solar panels are generating far more energy than they had projected AND they've offered to install something I asked for at no extra cost...just to be nice! Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Solar Optimum customer service was excellent from the start and the installation went very smoothly. However, when PGE sent word that the system was approved to operate, it could not be turned on. After 10 days of back and forth calls and emails, a service crew was dispatched today who determined that some connectors were not hooked up! We hope there will be no further problems.

Excellent Co. The CEO is very active and not far away from the phone. The System was installed in 2015 and pid for itself in nearly 4 years. Now we enjoy free electricity and well as fueling my Chevy bolt ALL electric car. I have no idea what gas prices are. Most importantly they sized the consumption accurately and the follow up maintenance and service haas been excellent. I highly recommend Solar Optimum.

We did a lot of research prior to buying solar panels and finally chose Solar Optimum based on quality of product, 25 yr guarantee on panels, and pricing. Salesman was very knowledgeable and did not oversell or makes empty promises. The final number of panels sold to us was spot on for our comfort and the end of year true up costs were almost $0, We've had the panels for over two years and I'm happy to report we've had not one problem or issue, panels working fine, no roof leaks. Great product, great company!

Solar optimum offers the best post-installation warranty as well as premium solar panels. It is a nation wide company and the initial estimate may be off for some individuals. For example, every city has different requirements to fire setbacks and estimating the maximum number of panels on the roof may not be trivial. But the company is making efforts to improve the service and trying to make every customers happy.

We interviewed a total of three companies when we decided to put solar panels on our roof. Solar optimum was the only company to show up at the originally scheduled time. They were the only company that gave us a bid that was complete and easy to read and follow. There were also the most cost effective. On the day of installation a team came and was done within the day. They are true professionals in every manner. I would highly recommend them.

They were professional, honest and have the best product. We have not had an electric bill since installation. SDG&E owes us money. No problems at all with the system since installation 2 years ago. Also their 25 year warranty is awesome. They have been around along time and should continue to be. They are not a fly by night outfit where their warranty means nothing. They get 5 stars.

We used energysage to search for a provider, and the quote we got from Solar Optimum was one of the best values for the quality of work that we got. The were a little difficult to get a hold of during the months that we waited for the installers to come, but once the date arrived, they did a fast and professional job. A year into our installation so far and we have no complaints.

After shopping and comparing solar system with other competing solar companies, Solar Optimum was our best choice. We have no regrets getting the solar system from Solar Optimum. The customer services were great.The sales Rep was very good, and answered questions patiently. He explained to us how the solar works what to expect and actions to take if we encounter any problem. Also, we were concerned about possible leakage or damage to the roof after the solar panel installation. But no leakage so far even after the rains. I will surely recommend Solar Optimum to my friends.

Solar Optimum has been outstanding! Before Solar Optimum, my electric bill ran from $300-$600 per month. Since Solar Optimum, my highest electric bill was one time $30.00, but since that one time, it has never exceeded $15.00 per month, and I have 2 large refrigerators and air conditioning units for upstairs and downstairs in my home. I am very pleased with Solar Optimum. I highly recommend using them.

Solar optimum has been a work in progress for me. At first they were incredibly informative and easy to work with. There were a few minor design tweaks here and there, regarding how the shade around our house would be affecting the solar panels. We were able to figure out the best solution. Moving forward, after the design was completed, it took them an unreal amount of time to get the permits for the work. I had emailed multiple people in different departments, asking for someone to give me any updates on my system, and why it was taking so long to get approved/installed. Apparently someone had dropped the ball on actually filing for ALL the necessary permits, thus pushing the job completion date farther behind. I unfortunately had to call the city building department myself to get answers and relay them to solar optimum before they would listen to me. Their excuse was "we didn't know Pasadena had this 'extra' permit needed to complete the work." Once that was all sorted out, the work began. As far as the actual work of installing the panels, they did an outstanding job! Completed the work incredibly fast, and left no mess. Since then, they have been easy to get a hold of whenever I've had any questions regarding my system, and how to properly monitor and maintain it. I only gave this review 4 stars because of the lack of urgency and professionalism during the permit process stage.

I installed 25 Panasonic solar panels with Enphase energy inverters in August, 2019. Solar Optimum was great all the way through the process. They were quick to respond with all communications. They quickly got the permits from the city. The price was very competitive. The installation was very quick (took 3 days). The only issue found by the city inspector was to change the labels on the electrical boxes. The system has worked great without any problems!

They made the process of getting solar panels very easy. I don't think about it now, except that I have a much lighter conscience about our pollution footprint. Anyone with a sunny roof should at least call them and check out how much it would cost for their specific situation. In our case, we pay less overall on energy now (monthly bill from the city plus the monthly loan payment for the solar panels) than we used to pay (when we just had a monthly bill from the city). The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that our city dragged their feet on giving final approval to activate the system, and solar optimum didn't follow up quite as attentively as they could have. Once I called about the delay, they got the approval and activation done quickly.

Solar Optimum worked closely with us through a lengthy approval process with the City Design Board, due to the house being on the registry. It was the first time a registry home had solar installed and they made sure the visual integrity of the house and neighborhood were preserved according to the required standards. Im happy with Solar Optimum. Got it in July 2019. So far everything is working and producing just fine. They are upgrading my monitoring system with a new cellular modem for free in place of the wifi it was connected to. Wifi always up & down but with the new system, always connected and able to check on system to see how much its producing on each solar panel.

Solar provided a much larger saving since most my devices were electric and they added if I had an electric heater, the solar could help then.
